I highly recommend Il Barba Busone. This was my first time here and Domenic was the best. Not only did he give me a great haircut, but hes also an entertaining conversationalist. I am immensely pleased with my haircut and would 100% come back to see him again. Excellent service, meticulous work, and easily 10 out of 10!

This is a barber shop for EVERYONE! I am a woman with a very short cut, but wanting to grow my hair out to a medium length - about nose level on the top/front and short in back - and was getting NOWHERE with salons.Real talk: most salons *do not know how to cut very short styles on women*!!!! They DONT! Just take my word lol. And I have kinda problem hair anyway. Its very fine in texture but grows in thick. It just weighs itself down so what kept happening was salon stylists couldnt figure out how to keep length without removing weight. So theyd keep cutting shorter and shorter, or theyd maul it with thinning shears to where the ends were so sparse and flyaway it would have to be cut short again.Dom. Has. Fixed. This. Problem. He listened to what *I* wanted and found a way to make it happen!He is very very skilled, very friendly and pleasant and the vibe in the shop is GREAT. I never, ever felt weird coming in as a woman. He is very inclusive, truly loves what he does and makes you feel the center of attention. Hes well spoken, interesting and intelligent and feels like a friend youve known forever the first time you meet him.Im so glad I swallowed my anxiety about coming to a barber. We can use barbershops too! Give Dom a try if youre a woman rocking short hair. You wont be sorry at all!

Domenic is professional, friendly, and does an excellent job. I was one of those awful customers who didnt really know what I wanted, I just wanted a change. He asked all the right questions and gave me exactly what I wanted. Im very happy with the results. I would recommend him to anyone and would happily visit again.

Domenic always makes me feel welcomed and at home in addition to cutting my hair and trimming my beard perfectly every time. I don’t live in Sacramento but I am considering moving there just so I can see him more often.

Domenic is the kind of barber that makes the pros and cons list when contemplating a move out of state.As far as logistics go, hes easy to book, great location right in the heart of midtown, and is always on time despite somehow always taking an extra 5 minutes on your haircut to make sure its perfect.Honestly, Ive never had better fades. Hes incredibly skilled with his scissor fades. Great attention to detail and a warm and compassionate guy that makes getting a haircut less of a chore and more of a hangout session.
