His customer service is fantastic and he works really hard to make people happy. But the last 2 times I have gone to him, Ive had to go home and touch up my beard. It looks ok when I leave but as soon as I comb it out it is uneven in places. Mind you, Im almost positive that he doesnt have too many people with big beards come in on the regular and I am bald so Ive never had any haircuts.

My son got a haircut here yesterday and it is the worst haircut he has ever received. No, this is not the first my child has had a bad haircut, but it wasn’t to the point to were it’s noticeable. You can tell far away how messed up the hair cut is. My son line is pushed backed and one side of his hair is lower then the other. I want to post the pictures but haven’t figured out how yet. I would not recommend. I came here based off all previous reviews and the photos on website. It’s false advertisement if you ask me and it’s call Fade Masters. My son did not get even close to a quality haircut. We were going to take picture, but decided to reschedule because I didn’t want to take pictures with my son hair like that.

I brought my son here for a haircut and wish I hadnt. He had curly hair and they did a horrible choppy job. I took him straight from there to a great clips to get it fixed. That ends up being a $68 haircut. Not happy!

My son knows exactly what he wants and Anthony is very patient with him and actually listens to what he wants! Hes also been cutting my brothers hair for years now. These people are unprofessional. They don’t know what they are doing. The boss man was so rude, they are so greedy and asking for big money, they charge you a lot of money and ask for big tip. The barber can cut. Ill give him that, but Nothing I havent seen. He says hes the best in Sacramento but I cant cosign since Im not from Sacramento. Sacramento Ill let you be the judge of that. Now I do think the price is a bit too high for Sacramento compared to the bay, LA, and San Diego. All Cities Ive lived in. I had my head shaved bald and beard trimmed. He told me he charges $60 but would charge me $50 since it was my first time and birthday. I paid $45 because I didnt think the job was worth that much. Now what I didnt appreciate was the barber comfortably using the N word around me. Just because you cut black people hair or have a few black friends does Not give you the right to speak in such a manner. Plus its a place of business. Not acceptable..

First time to this barber shop! I must say these barbers got bars!!! Fade is on point they also do Scissor cut and style blowdry and my lineup sharp lines really sharp and nice this guy also use air brush make the line pop out more I never seen anyone do that! Will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!! All the barbers can cut!!

Anthony is the best barber around. You cant find someone with his quality of work, at his prices anywhere. If his appts are full, he will tell u to come in and he will fit u in between clients. Ive been taking my 11 year old and 3 year old there for the last 2 years. Anthony has more patience than any mom I know when it comes to my 3 year old. He makes the session fun and my 3 year old has never cried once. I could go on and on about Anthony, but if you want QUALITY WORK AT QUALITY PRICES, but really are paying bare minimum go here, but make sure you tip him well. He charges less than he should so as a community we should be tipping him well.Hes been around forever, he is a big part of the community and works 6 days a week. I do t think he even takes sick days. He can do any style that you want, he customizes in lines and designs and giving you that presidential massage and facial after your shave.Basically, Fade Masters aka Anthony is 10 stars outta 5!

I had an appointment with them a couple of weeks and I couldnt make it twice.. So they charged me $40 because I didnt make my appointment but they got paid.. so about a week later I was trying to make another appointment with them and the guy Anthony refuses my appointment he cancelled it because I flake on them a couple weeks ago but they got paid from me $40 for not making the appointment. Hands down one of the best place if not the best, to get your haircut in Sac. Being a local guide, I tend to search around for the best. And I found the best. Not only does Anthony have mad skills with his tools, once hes finished cutting your hair, you get a vibrator massage with it. Show him a picture of what you want and hell get it right. For his great work he should be charging more, but this brother is humble and does not charge excessively. Doesnt save him from a $10 extra from me though. Ill be sure to tip every time I go there. For years I would always go from one barber to the other. But I can finally say after multiple cuts from Anthony, that I have ONE barber and he does a DAMN good job cutting my hair EXACTLY how I want it. He’s also very friendly and honest to the core! I’m gonna be his customer until the day he stops cutting hair!

He did a good job on my grandchildrens haircut, but I do have to agree with others about his pricing. He charged the 2 other customers ahead of us $20. He charged me $40 for each one!!! I strongly suggest asking him pricing first. To bad because my grandchildren liked their hair cut, but who can afford $40 for a hair cut. And I believed him to be a good man.

Was pressed on time going to Sac from the city. Made a last minute appointment at Fade Masters at 6pm. I didnt get there until 6:30pm and my man waited on me to beat the traffic on Saturday. That type of service speaks wonders from a guy that isnt even a regular here. Not only was my haircut fresh but the service is exceptional.

This was by far once of the worst experiences Ive ever had at a barbershop. Upon walking in it looked like the barber wanted to fight, as he glared and tried to size me up I was the first to say anything. I sat down with my son and waited for him to finish cutting a persons hair, as I went out to my car to grab something when I returned a person who walked in after me had cut Im front of my son. As the barber sat and bragged about how fast he can cut hair and how amazing of a person he was, another group of people walked in and he unwelcomly greeted them with can I help you????... after watching the current customer in chair pay 20$ my son sat in the seat and began to get his hair cut. After 3 minutes in he informed me raised the price recently to $40!!!!! I asked if that had just happened working the past 5 minutes since I saw someone pay 20$. He insisted it was $40... after 15 minutes he was done. Hair all over my son, no wipe down and I had to have him correct several areas on his head. This dude is a fraud of a barber. Stay far far away!!! Upon getting home my sons uncle noticed more missed spots on his face and long hairs on neck and around ears. For 40$!!!!! If there was a Option for negative star ratings it would have been selected. How dare he even call himself a barber.

Best in Sac! I normally dont get a haircut often so Im very picky about barbers. Being African American its hard to find someone who can work with different textures but Anthony is a master in his craft. Depending on how I feel ll get either a fade or taper and theyre always flawless. Ive even rexommended a few friends and theyre have been no complaints. If you go to fademasters know that you are going to both a quality cut, affordable price, and will be in and out in 30 minutes. I found fademasters online and have been going ever since, this was about 6 months ago.

The worst barber shop in Sacramento the guy that cut my hair had glasses but obviously couldn’t see right I told him I want a low fade and he cut it wayyy to high and on top of that the side weren’t even they were totally off even after I told him not to go any higher he kept going higher with the fade and still charged me 40$ for the cut and tried to make it seem like it was my fault even after I tried and tried to explain how I wanted my cut do yourself a favor and don’t go there try another barber shop

Fademaster is the best barber shop in Sacramento, anytime I need my hair cut I always go to Anthony, I live in lakecounty which is a 2 and a half hour drive from where fade master is but the drive defently worth it when you see the end results.

Seemed hostile towards me for unknown reasons and made me uncomfortable. Was aggressive with the cut. Left razor rashes all over my neck, ears and face, and even then didn’t even get the cut right. It was very patchy and uneven with long hairs sticking out everywhere. It was so bad that even though I paid $30 (which wasn’t worth it), I am going to have to go pay someone else more money tomorrow to fix it. This man did nothing but waste my time. Don’t let the appointment setups fool you. I honestly could have done better with safety scissors and a tiny hand mirror.
