This review is for the barbershop and specifically for Memo. This guy is amazing in his craft and while Im sitting on his seat hes great to talk to as well. He takes his time so that he can get every little detail to perfect my cut. Ive gotten my haircuts from him countless times, and honestly every single time I have not been more impressed. If you are in the Sacramento area and need a cut, I would highly recommend my guy.A bonus when getting a haircut here, you get a drink included. My drink is the old fashion, nice and refreshing before I get my fade!

New to Sacramento area and so glad that I found this place. I was able to book my appointment ahead of time online. When I arrived I was quickly greeted and enjoyed a beer while I waited. I loved the atmosphere and most of all the haircut I ​got from Anthony. Thank you for the clean cut today. ​I will definitely be returning for my next haircut.

Bottle and Barlow is one of the coolest places Ive ever had my hair cut. Attached to a bar, they serve you a drink while you wait, choosing from Beer and select cocktails. I had the Moscow Mule. The decor is very old school, and theres a motorbike in the entryway thats pristine. I describe this as the place your super cool older brother would go to for his haircuts. Stop getting your hair cut anywhere else.

Review of Barbershop:Listen up. Im going to say this once. You go anywhere else to get your haircut, you are (respectfully) a fool. This place has the best esthetic, amazing background musical taste, nicest barbers, best price to quality ratio, and i havent gotten exactly what i wanted from a haircut in years.I found my barbershop. This place will have you impatiently waiting for your next visit, its that good. I cannot wait to go back. Pick any barber and im sure they will make you just as happy as i am.

My experience was horrible I was not attended at the door once we approached the bar we made an order for our drinks they were taken by the bartender we waited about 30 mins and she was to busy talking to other customers and playing with the dog and ignoring us and to make things worse their were only 7 ppl at the bar that had just been served we felt that we were treated as a minority since we were the only colored people in the bar. After the 40 minutes we decided to walk out she just looked at us and did not bother to say anything she ignored us once again I would not recommend this bar to any1 this bartender needs to be delt with ill b reaching out to management.

This was the ideal place to get a LONG-overdue haircut.Dean lined me up to look better than I can remember and it was a wonderful experience overall.Will be going back for my next one.*21+ so dont bring the kids*

I have never had such bad service, when we ordered we had left the card open but then the line to order had become extremely long, so we decided to close out I asked a man if he could ask the bartender if we had to wait in the mile long order line (where they were making the drink upon order and then taking the next order which essentially makes the line an hour long wait) we watched him talk to the bartender then walk away when he came back I asked him what did the bartender say and instead of answering he started guilt tripping us and telling us we could just leave(which is what we were trying to do) when we came back three hours later to get the card the line was moving and we hopped in line and talked to the bartender and the bartender told us he hadn’t asked her anything of the sort and if she had known that all we were trying to do was close out she would’ve happily done it. From my understanding the man that we talked was the owner and I find that to be the most unprofessional way to run a business and to treat your customers. The drinks were... ok.

Shout out to this barber shop I loved the atmosphere, my barber was Miranda I think lol she was awesome we talked about hair products and she suggested their Matte pomade that is their own hair products, Anthony knows how to make you feel good and look good. Check. Them out if you haven’t already.

Manager and staff gave terrible service, they were taking shots with friends and ignoring guests. Staff seemed drunk and ignored us for two hours on 7/18/21.

It was a good atmosphere and good cocktails which we really enjoyed. That being said the cocktails are fairly time consuming for them to make leaving you waiting to order for long periods.

Bartenders super understaffed. Update. Marketing staff reached out to me and sent me a gift card. Atmosphere is awesome there. Very cool decorations, live music. Very cool spot to hang out. Music can be loud so not a good place to talk if music is playing.

Best haircut in town! My man Richie is amazing!! Only guy in the Sacramento area I’d trust with my beard! The guy is super good at what he does and can keep a conversation! Anthony is a one man show with super hip shops, great products from a brand he built himself and always gives a slick cut.

Awesome place, Ive been coming here for about 3 years now to get my haircut with Anthony and every time Ive been super happy with the cut, service, and overall a good time. I love the convenience of the online booking, my appointments have always started on time, and a drink is included in the price so I really cant ask for more.The bar also has interesting cocktails that rotate seasonally so its always fun to pop in and see whats on the menu, and it doesnt get too busy on the weekdays usually so its a nice place to grab a drink and talk.Overall would highly recommend the barber shop and the bar, try it out if you havent already!

I’m new to the area and was nervous to find the right barbershop to go to. I was referred to this shop by another barber and have never second guessed my choice since. I’ve gotten my haircut by several different barbers at Bottle & Barlow and i’ve always been happy with the outcome. Everyone is super nice and courteous. Dean is also a great first face as you walk in for your appointment, he makes the best cocktails! I’ll always get my haircut here as long as i’m in the area.

I went here a handful of times. The free drink is awesome, its a cool feature. But dont mistake it as a business play instead of a friendly gesture. Each employee is a artists and take pride in their work. I went here the day before my wedding, Brandon (who now works at Bastille Barbers) went above and beyond. I cant even think of a con for this place.

This is a chill spot off of R Street & a few blocks from the busy R & 15th Street area. Narrow bar but nicely decorated with a full bar & DJ with a good amount of seating. I love this statement on their wall.

Service is always awesome even when they have a full house. There was fast and courteous service. It has a nice atmosphere.

Had a lot of fun here with a friend visiting. DJ played fun tunes too.

Creative cocktails and a lovely ambiance - but theres no food. You can get your haircut. So thats nice.Theres also a fun little hidden balcony behind the bar where you can sip your drink and look out over the crowd.

Mason gave an excellent cut. Loved the straight razor and hot towel. This is my go to haircut place. One well made drink included with haircut. Make an appointment and plan ahead so you can enjoy yourself.

I had never been to a barber shop like this before and it was really cool. You get a free drink with the haircut and my haircut was top notch and i had a lot of fun. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because the first time I visited was a rather negative experience and while I dont think that employee represents them as a whole, if they did this would be a one star review because they sucked and I almost didnt go back. Chris cut my hair and was spectacular.

This established kicked me out after asking why a woman gave me the middle finger. After respectfully asking the woman why she used the gesture with me, the two gentlemen accused me of harassing the woman me and asked me to leave. I can only image what wouldve happened if the roles were reversed.

The line to get a drink can be hit or miss. The service is pretty good in general but sometimes you can wait a while as the person in front of you orders some hand crafted drink. Otherwise cool place.

Im sure Im not the first, nor will be the last to say this, youve got to try the cocktails. They did a good job of offering up some classic and twists. Just pick one that sounds like fun. Thats what I did and I wasnt disappointed.

Their drinks are an art! Every single one looks awesome! I tasted three of them over there and all were strong and very tasty. Also food is very good, especially their chicken wings, different than elsewhere but still delicious. If you want to try some unique treat than choose this tiki bar!

The Barlow side (barber) is on point and the Bottle side (bar) perfectly complements it. Want a unique experience, get cleaned up then get sloppy. Do not recommend the opposite order. 😉

The only reason I didnt give a 5 star I felt I got rushed !! My beard lineup is off and didnt pay attention to details and charge me $20 just for a beard trim !! So dont be a last guy. The place is awesome and drinks are great. I just go to different guy next time

Haircut was good, paid 64$ for a haircut and a shave. I got a nice haircut, but then only an electric shaver on my neck. I assumed for the added money I would be getting a razor shave, silly me, buyer beware! *Update 3/16/2018* I was contacted and offered a shave, or a partial refund. I will never be going back here, but thought I would update my review to show the establishment reached out trying to make things right. I opted for the refund, and have added a start to my review.

Ive been a regular at Anthonys Barbershop since Ive arrived in the Sacramento area since Fall 2013 and he definitely brought the inviting atmosphere to Bottle & Barlow. First off their appointment system is great, second their customer service is excellent. Right when I walked in the lovely ladies offered me a drink in which I couldnt refuse especially since it was for free. I got the Two Towns Cider while I waited for my cut from Jason (Skillz). Overall, the experience was great and I definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great cut or drink.

So my barber was Cacia Crose. Could not recommend her enough! She was fun and knew exactly what she was doing. I’ve been to other barbers before and had not had the same experience or CRISPY fade ever like this before! Will definitely be a weekly client!

Pretty cool place to grab drinks not too much of a beer selection but what they had on tap was good. Overall its a nice joint in walking distance of a handful of good food spots.

Original crafted cocktails. Some of the ingredients sound like they would make a horrible drink but are always surprisingly good. The decor and prices straddle the line between upscale and hipster.

Arrived for my appointment and was not told the barber was running late. Being a 12:30 appointment I had work I needed to get to after. So I was unable to get my haircut. Disappointed with the service. It would have been nice if the front desk person who went to lunch would have asked if I minded going to another barber if I was short on time. This could have solved the problem.
