Super informative and helpful wish I could afford to get my truck lifted

Got my new Rims and Michelin Primacy tyres installed at this tyre shop yesterday in my Mercedes. The staff members were very helpful and skilled as they took note of my existing rims and sizes before replacing them with the new ones. Offered me free wheel balancing service too. very cool environment of the shop. Owner is all the time on the head of workers and supervising every thing him self. Prices were good too. Thumbs up for their excellent service rendered.

I called Folsom Tire and Wheels based on Yelp reviews. What a mistake! I asked the price of four new quality tires for a 2013 Prius. I was quoted $300 for quality tires. Since this is my first car, I wasnt familiar with various brands and asked only for tires of good quality. I drove to the shop and was told that the price was now $400, because the $300 quoted did not include tax. I believe this is called bait-and-switch, which is a form of fraud. Because I had blown a tire and needed new ones immediately so that I could go to work, I felt I had no choice but to agree with the $400 price, even though tax on $300 is not an extra $100. Please see the receipt, where no tax is specified. When I got home, I researched the tires and found that the shop had sold me Advanta --cheap Chinese tires. According to Consumer Reports, the Chinese-made Pegasus Advanta got the lowest scores of all tires tested. The tire does not grip well in snow, is short in terms of tread life, and makes for a rough and noisy ride. They retail for $57.98 at Walmart. My receipt also specifies that there is no warranty with these tires, so if one or more blow soon, I am out of luck. I also researched the company on the BBB website and found that there are complaints about Folsom Tire and Wheels, compiles that the company did respond to. Please avoid this company. There are much better, more honest tire shops in Sacramento.

The owner is very honest and never hesitates in giving information. He is always willing to share information about the products he has on his display. He gives useful recommendation on getting tyres as per your usage. Clean and tidy shop with all latest equipment and machinery. Solution to all problems under one roof. The best tyre shop in town. Visited this amazing tyre shop. Got my rims replacement at very reasonable price. I hope I wont hit the curb again, but if I do, no heartache as I know where to go to fix it. If you ever need a rim repair or a new tyre you should certainly consider them. They are good. Thumbs up!

Our tire burst while we were on Hwy 65. Folsom Tire and Wheels provided us with the fastest and cheapest mobile repair in the area, and was even cheaper than getting our car towed to a local tire shop. He gave us a good rate and didn’t charge us extra to get out a bolt that had been broken. Highly recommend if you’re in need of their mobile services as well.

In a pinch, I bought a set of used tires here and the customer service could have been better. First off I went in on my lunch break and they told me I would have to wait until THEY finished their lunch break, second is nobody even asked me which side of the tire i wanted facing out, and finally upon closer inspection they sold me some tires that are so weather cracked in some spots that they shouldnt be on the road any longer. Thanks guys, stand-up business practices you guys are using over there. Not Happy.

Terrible, I asked for change 4tire with original same brand tire continentalbut they changed with pirelli then insisted that is OEM, and OEM is same original....so I cant trust this shop and ask to change back to original to old one and go back. they say I have to pay for labor fee....terrible.so bad day

I went here for an alignment about 3-4 months ago. When I went in my alignment was off just a little bit on the outside of the front tires. I told them that and they knowledge what I told them. After 3-4 months I now notices the center of the front tires is being worn off almost to the indication for new tires. And I checked my all my tires it’s NOT overinflated. I would not go here again. This place I would not recommend to anyone.

Very Honest. I have been working on cars for 30+ years so I know when I start getting the BS treatment. I usually go to places in my car working clothes so you can tell that I work on cars this time I was all cleaned up and in my nicer clothes so you wouldnt think I knew anything about cars. Not once did they try and sale me a more expensive tire than what I needed, they even caught that our spare wasnt good enough so they replaced it with one of the old tires, and we had those cheap capped wheel nuts that they asked if I wanted changed and even explained to me why they should be changed which was absolutely correct. I will drive from know on from Pollock Pines just to purchase tires from this place. Its hard to find an Honest place theses days but I found one Thank you for great reliable deviceRay H
