Our central air conditioning failed on a Friday afternoon. I submitted a work order right away as we were in a heat wave with bad air quality from nearby fires. A complex technician arrived and worked on our AC and determined it would have to be replaced. That same technician then delivered to us a portable Toshiba AC unit. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the portable AC kept us comfortable. The following Thursday a brand new AC unit was installed before noon. The Shore Park team exceeded our expectations in a timely and thoughtful manner.
This apartment complex and apartment are luxurious. To go along with that the staff is incredible. I havent met the entire team as I just moved in but Jordan and Ashley in the leasing office are great. Scott, Eddie, and Anthony are amazing! The maintenance team is very knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. Very glad I chose this to be our new home.
Tons of hidden fees. Apartment is alright, parking isnt horrible or anything, but there are so many hidden fees in the lease that I didnt expect. I expected basic utilities (gas, elec, water etc.), But there were some ridiculous charges, also moving out they tacked on a bunch of miscellaneous charges too. Expect your rent to be $300 above what is actually advertised in your lease. Storm water, garbage, and sewage fees are nuts here.
Great costumer service. Fast response time & staff/maintenance are super helpful.
Shore Park is great! Their staff is quite accommodating, and super helpful! Glad we are staying at Shore Park :)
I visited Shore Park hoping to view an apartment. Upon arriving I was greeted by a very friendly woman, I wish I remembered her name to give kudos to, and was given a tour of the property. I would like to say tbag in my shopping around for a new apartment in the sac area, this has got to be one of the most well grommed properties Ive been to. No liter, a huge park in the middle of the property and all the amenities I would need. I mostly want to emphasize how amazing this woman was and how at home she made me feel. I havent decided if shore park is the place for me given my commute, but if I do decide to move in you can thank your wonderful office staff for making me feel at home before I even move in.
Shelby was awesome. She gave us a tour of the property and units and was very friendly, pleasant & accommodating. She consistently followed up with us after the tour. Though we ended up selecting their other property, Shelby was very supportive about it. Awesome customer service skills!
Overall my experience with shore park has been great staff are very attentive and friendly. You need a service done they will have it done asap. Very clean and peaceful environment. Amenities are kept clean at all times. Not to mention theyve taken great precaution with this pandemic. Would most definitely recommend.
Keisha was our main contact from beginning to end and is very awesome at her job. She was able to get all things done quickly and efficiently. The only issue is the air conditioning unit cant keep up, when its more then 100 degrees outside it only gets down to 79 to 80 inside. Not to Happy about that but it is what it is Front office though really rocks.
I toured Shore Park with Ronna and she was fantastic. I wound up going with a different spot but I was very impressed with her attentiveness and response time to get all of my questions answered, (in a Pandemic no less!). The only reason I am not rating 5 stars is because the return holding fee takes two weeks to be returned and I find that entirely unacceptable.
Keisha in the office is great! She let us tour the apartment and really helped us out even when we’re just a walk in checking out the area! We ended getting approved but decided to go with a different apartment choice for us and she was very understanding and professional about everything! Highly recommended and always a fast response!
From the very first moment I talked with the staff members at Shore Park at Riverlake they made me feel at home. I was excited to live here because of Shelby They answered all my questions and even called me back when I didn’t leave a message. I don’t know what it was like before but I am very picky and I would recommend Shore Park at Riverlake to my friends and family.
Shorepark is a wonderful housing complex. I love the park feeling with all the huge welcoming trees & angled & spaced apts, & parkway in midst for path up to Sac River levee... The staff is always welcoming & helpful, whether for questions or help with minor or major concerns, & the maintenance staff is also friendly & out & about constantly helping folks. The space is kept clean & trimmed & all in good working order. Im enjoying my move to Sacramento in good part because of being in this place.
AMAZING.... I had the opportunity to work with Sabrina and Ronnie they where both kind and worked with me even on there off days I got approved and myself and my girls are super excited for the move in the area is quite clean and beautiful and peace of mind when I come HOME thank you ladies ❤️
Parking is an absolute mess. Policy changes on a weekly basis towing threats are thrown around like candy.
We have found that everyone here is very pleasant and helpful! Kaela in the office and Scott in charge of maintenance have particularly helpful. We have nice quiet neighbors and enjoy the scenic grounds and mature trees. We are very happy we found an apartment that feels like a home!
Long story short, would not ever choose to live here again. Long story...Our apartment was full of cob webs when we moved in.Month to month rates are double. We went from 1550 a month to 3000. They will raise lease rates every year.Maintenance takes forever. My AC went out in a week were all days were above 100, and I have a wife, toddler and dog at home. It took 5 phone calls and 2 online service requests over three days to get any kind of response. and they finally fixed it on a weekend Then, a month later they finally responded to the online request saying theyd be happy to come fix it.What a joke. The apartments are poorly designed. The outdoor balconies get disgusting and moldy during the winter from the constant rain drip through the pergola style rafters. Poor lighting, and the second levels have 20 high vaulted ceilings. Its a home for spiders and is impossible to clean because theres no room to keep a tall ladder. The high vaulted ceiling also makes cooling in the summer very expensive, because lots of the air is discharged up high. Hardly any storage space, all the appliances are 80s and dont function very well. Lots of the outlets are old and dont hold plugs very well, creating a safety and fire hazard. The fans in the bathrooms are useless, and it will get mildewy very quick.I called the office every day for a week trying to set up my final cleaning walk and was only ever told that my message would be passed on. Expecting to not get a large portion of my deposit back because they wont come and point out things. All kinds of random fees. $10 for parking permits and other random chargers to the account. They will remove most of them, but it takes a lot of phone calls.Lots of irresponsible dog owners who dont pick up poop, in grass or even sidewalks. This creates a home for fleas, and your dog will absolutely get them. Ours got fleas at least 5 separate times this summer, even with multiple flea and tick treatments. It doesnt feel like a safe place to live. Cars get broken into all the time, and there are lots of unsavory characters whove had the police called on them. On one occasion, 8 patrol cars showed up to deal with one person.
Ive lived in the apartments since Sept 2019 and havent had any problems that havent been addressed in a timely manner. The Sacramento River is literally 100 yards from my unit so I expected to see plenty of bugs and critters but aside from the occasional house spider and ants here and there its been a perfect experience for me thus far. I reported the ants (not managements fault) and within a day they sprayed for them. My refrigerator was acting up and two technicians came out to ensure it wouldnt give me any more trouble, and it hasnt since. The facilities are always clean, the landscaping is always taken care of, and I constantly see the maintenance crew working and driving their golf carts to keep the place up and running. Its very quiet in the area and has trees everywhere... I love my stay!
0 Security. Over 25 car break-ins in 16 months, nothing is done. Cars vandalized. Nothing is done. Dont move here if you value your property or your security. Fake cameras lull you into a false sense of security. Gated community means they have a gate for cars. Pedestrians can just walk around the gate.
Really nice area, much better customer service and responses to email since the new management
I do not know what the problem is but the apartment is exactly like the pictures just the furniture they use make it pop and look nicer. I am enjoying it here so far
Wesley at the front office is always very friendly and helpful. Always ready to help you in the front office whenever you need him. We had a couple things that we needed to get fixed in our apartment and he had Ron come over and fix them right away.
We just moved here from Florida, and rented the Clubhouse for a family birthday party. The clubhouse looks recently renovated with updated furniture and appliances. There were 19 of us, all ages. It was beautiful, with big windows looking out to the pool. The kids enjoyed the pool and several people played pool, and the rest of us had plenty of comfortable seating, both poolside and inside. The staff was extremely helpful in setting up my reservation. There is a full kitchen in the clubhouse with a huge refrigerator and a table with seating for at least 12. There are 2 smaller rooms off the main room with more upholstered chairs and big screen TVs. All our guests were really impressed. The close proximity to the walking trails along the levy are a huge benefit. I was also surprised that all of the apartments are furnished with washers and dryers. Its shady and clean and quiet, and the apartment is roomy. I love it here!!
Maintenance staff are quick to respond and if not that they repair on that day, they notify you of their convenience to schedule another time of day. So far its been quiet when its time to bed down. Our experience here is satisfied for a living to save up for a home and make this residence our memorable event as starting to live on our own.
The catalytic converter was stolen from my car out of my carport at Shore Park Apts ($3K to repair), so I asked twice for management to check their security footage to see if they had any footage of the event. Both times, management promised to get back to me and didnt. Its pretty clear Shore Park management does not care about anything but cashing your check. My neighbor had their converter stolen too, and Next Door shows this happening night after night in Pocket, and management cannot even be bothered to return your call reporting this activity. Im guessing these security cameras do not record, but management would not even tell me that. BTW this is the same complex as Shore Park with FPI management, it just has new management (Sequoia) that also does not communicate with their tenants.
Thank you Shore Park Service Technician Anthony Hanoum for servicing my garbage disposal the soonest possible time!He is a friendly guy and so patient to work the requested job! Also, thank you Sequoia for your great management!
Left after a 67 month lease with the apartment in better shape (it had a late 80s microwave) than one would ever expect and they still immediately forwarded a $99 demand for payment to a collections agency with less than a months notice. Multiple neighbors violated the rent agreement (smoking pot constantly, playing loud music past 1AM etc) and nothing was done from what I could tell. They even had a guy living in his car, on premises, for months if not longer.. yet they will tow your car in a hearbeat without notice if they need to fix a planter box
The worst place to live i had to mark one star otherwise it would be zero.PLEASE DON’T RENT FROM HERE!!Save your money you will thank me later! I promise YOU!
I love my apartment. I read bad reviews before I moved in and I havent had any of the troubles people wrote about. My neighbors are quiet and pleasant. The office/maintenance staff take great care of us; they are professional and timely. The community areas are beautifully kept year round. I feel safe and happy in this community. Nothing but great things to say about the apartment and the people. You would be lucky to live here.
Our apartment had a couple of things give out and the staff was very positive and helpful. Wesley at the front desk was especially helpful.
My fiancé and I moved into Shorepark Apartments on 1/26/2019 with our newborn baby. We quickly started to experience a high level of noise from our upstairs neighbors which became consistent. Our first complaint was on 1/31/19 and the problem has still not been solved. Not only was the noise irritating to us, but it also woke up the baby multiple times. They asked us to be patience and they would handle the situation. They even placed two noise complaint notices on their door, but the noise continues and they don’t want to truly escalate the situation because the tenants have been here longer. Also, the apartments asked for us to record for evidence which we also did. They offered to move us, but stated that the rent most likely will go up due to prices varying daily so our move in rate is no longer available. After four months they now want to do a mediation. So, we asked to be let out of our contact with they also denied. Not only have we experienced excessive noise, but also rodents. We found a foot long snake at our front door. On the weekend of 5/11/19 multiple vehicles were broken into and cameras do not seem to be reliable. Lastly, the apartments promised to fix multiple things after we moved in and they have yet came to fix anything promised. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone.
We lived there for one year. good area and beautiful atmosphere, it has responsible maintenance and the employees are nice. But I had big damage of decayed tree that fell on my car and other car because many of trees had diseases, trees blong to complex near my Apt but they didnt pay for my car damage,I didnt sue them because I knew they got my signature in agreement for everything and it will have no results, and I think its unfair.because maybe it had happened for my children.
THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX IS A JOKE!!!!!! There is no type of security here. The people who work in the office are rude and if you need something fix then expect to wait 2 months before they even acknowledge your request for maintenance to come out. Theres huge spiders and all types of bugs everywhere. The neighbors are rude and complain about everything. Theres homeless people who come in the complex late at night and go thru trash cans.
So I signed a joint lease and unfortunately one of my roommates payed rent late twice. There were four of us in total and we all paid separately. Before I moved out I politely requested for a formal letter stating that although rent was paid late, my checks were cashed in on time. The Shore Park representative who dealt with the leases (who I am graciously remaining nameless) abruptly stated that although the apartment can verify that I paid rent on time, she still wouldnt write a letter proving my finical diligence. She went off topic and explained what a joint lease was thinking I was unknowledgeable of the yearly contract I signed. She also had no idea why I was asking for a letter when every rental home/unit I am looking at in Sacramento is asking for formal letter for the owners to examine. Her impatience, agitation, and to be frank, her cluelessness about a simple letter of recommendation showed her age. Personally, this employee does not represent what the Shore Park staff stands for and makes the landlord look very bad with her unprofessional behavior.Ill be going through chain of command and talking straight to the owner now.
My wife and i went to check them out to see if we could rent a one bedroom, we are a working couple with a job and more then enough money to rent here.Yet she decided to assume things and make us feel unwelcome. Gave us the highest number she can think of with out even checking and said the deposit was more then what they list online because she didnt know our credit history (without checking once again) we wanted a tour but she refused because she had things to do.Maybe she was in a bad mood from a previous argument she gad for 45 mins (passed our appoiment time) with a tenant that lived there.Even after all that i was still willing to find us a place here. But then my wife said. You know what, lets get out of here. She didnt even said bye to us lol.Good luck trying to rent here..
FROM ONE 13 MONTH LEASE FOR A 2 BD 1 BA TO THE VERY NEXT LEASE RENEWAL.......ENOUGH SAID.....These are mortgage prices!! If I pay these prices ESPECIALLY what they asking for a month-to-month it will be my mortgage. These are not luxury apartments but the location is nice. Moved in August of 2017 for $1405/ month PLUS UTILITIES and Lease Renewal for August 2018 is INCREASING to $1531 (for another 13 month lease, PLUS UTILITIES), $1527 (for a 12 month lease, PLUS UTILITIES), $1544 (for a 11 month lease, PLUS UTILITIES), $1576 (for a 10 month lease, PLUS UTILITIES)......why is the 12 months lease cheaper than the 13 month lease ?!?!?AND THE BIGGEST JOKE OF ALL is the MONTH - to - MONTH should I choose to stay and not do another lease....$4921.00 a month!!!! FOR A 2BD 2BA APARTMENT not HOUSE!! LOL
The worst place I have ever lived in in my life. I would never recommend anyone to live here. The leasing office is incompetent. Always have an issue with my rent, they can’t figure out utility bills, they lose your checks, the leasing office staff are rude. I lived here for 3 years and upon move in I had informed the leasing office that my oven didn’t work and finally two weeks ago after 3 years of living here they FINALLY fixed it. I had roaches from the molds and fungus that started from the sink leakage and it took almost two weeks for them to come in to inspect the roaches. And I informed the leasing manager Cecilia that I had to spray Raid repellent to combat this roach problem before it started to breed and the leasing manager Cecilia answer was you can’t spray repellent sprays because it’s not allowed. This place is ridiculous, did she want my apt tp have a breeding roach infestation and for me to just wait there and she might fix the roach problem after another 3 years.Do not move in to this place. Save your money and time and live somewhere where it is worth 1600.I am paying for paid Parking and other residents and people constantly park in my spot. When I come home from work I have to go park on the street or open space because the leasing office staff will not do anything about this. When I informed Wesley he informed me that they can’t call the towing company to get the cars towed it is my job since it is my problem. When I contacted the towing company they informed me that leasing office needs to authorize this. And had a run around for 1.5 hours and I finally gave up with this ridiculouslness and waste of my time and money. The leasing office staff not picks on everything single thing, especially Cecilia Ruiz whose a assistant leasing manager with no customer service etiquettes. I called out the office manager Ariel and informed her that her staff prejudice and racially discriminatory towards me, maybe because I’m of color. I witnessed this off hand, that Cecilia will speak so softly to other new move ins while I got a totally different attitude and her being very rude to me. Ariel, claims that there is no racial discrimination but that is not what I am feeling. I get late fees again for no leasing insurance when I have insurance and provided them with a copy so so many times. Instead of just simply making a call and asking they post a note stating your late with something. Maybe this is their “Starbucks money “ who knows. Other residents smoking pot, noise level is ridiculous and apparently no attention is being paid to this important factors that residents look for when looking to move in. For the amount of money they charge this place is not worth living here. Do yourself a favor and move somewhere where in 6 months your not looking again. I chose this apartment due to the location and convenience but I rather drive 30 minutes to get to a store or anywhere then to have these many headaches. I think they need to focus on improving the apartments and maintaining it well and FPI management needs to provide educational training to the leasing staff on customer service etiquette. lol. If there was a rating of NEGATIVE 0 I would give this apartment that LOL
Ditto to what Jonathan Moore said.. I had my car stolen from this complex as well. People ARE loud at all hours. Black mold growing in the unit and nothing has been done about it as well. Visit a friend there often and thats what I have seen personally
I have witnessed a huge transformation since my arrival here at Shore Park Apartments. Prior to my move in date I felt the criteria and screening process I was subjected to would ensure me (as well as other tenants) a very safe, quiet and secured environment. I can say, (without disrespecting anyone) if the same criteria’s are being followed as it was in the past, maybe Shore Park Apartments should consider amending/adjusting its criteria. There are more disrespectful, inconsiderate, marijuana smoking, loud music playing, loud people, trash leaving and second floor stomping tenants than ever before residing here now.The staff (for the most part) has been fair and receptive when issues are brought to their attention. I feel they could be a little more tenant friendly with certain situations. Assigned parking spaces are not always near the tenants apartment location. Seniority should have a privilege should a closer space become available and requested by a current tenant. Also, I understand a lease/contract is a binding agreement between two or more parties but, if a “good standing” tenant has a valid reason or emergency to terminate their lease/contract early, consideration should be given pending the time remaining on their lease/contract.
A Google User is the staff at Shore Park. Because I visit my girlfriend who lives there and it is the exact opposite of what the reviews say. Management does not work with you at all and nit pics every little thing. People are loud at all hours of the night. And dont worry about your car getting broken into because at Shore Park they get stolen not just broken into. Controlled access is a joke because the gate is only 3 feet tall and you can walk in from the river levee road. Ive told my girlfriend not to renew her lease and I will help her find a better apartment. Shore Park is terrible! Heed my warning!
My uncle just moved in not to long ago and we wanted do go to rec room but the keg they gave us didnt even fit in the lock so we couldnt even go check it out
I hate this place all these people being always so loud
My god FYI lol
