Best car wash in town. Hands down! Also very pricey, but you get what you pay for. The best thing about Jax is the free vacuuming and air hoses, nobody has that and its free. I recommend the Royal Oak facility.

Jax is a very well run business. It is clean, efficient, and consistent. I love the little air gun on the vacuums for cleaning out crevices in your interior. I used to just do an exterior car wash here, but now I have upgraded to getting a full detail every so often. I had F Bibbs do my most recent detail and he was awesome. Friendly, thorough, and quick. Being a business owner myself, I genuinely love and appreciate everything about this business.

I went this weekend to get my car washed, I told the workers that last time I paid for full service it was not up to par with my expectations paying for the service and to please make sure this time was done properly. They ensured me they would take care of it, my car was vacuumed very nicely and air fresheners were placed in my car I was very pleased.

I go to 11mile and Woodward location. Great car wash for sure. The service is usually good as well. Would give 5 stars but they seem to have a higher turn around on employees, and I prefer to see the same people to get the better service I believe. Otherwise awesome place!

I’ve always gone here for my exterior washes and happy with the job every time. This was my first time having the interior done and they did a GREAT job. Bibbs had it cleaned so quickly, I only had to wait 10 minutes and the car looks brand new. I will be back!

Worst car wash in metro Detroit. I have given this place multiple chances and every time my car comes out dirtier than before. Today was the last straw. My car was dripping wet when I pulled out and covered in small black gooey spots (photo of receipt and time stamp for proof) and I now have to take my car somewhere else. $17 and an afternoon wasted. Get it together JAX. Overpriced and doesn’t even get a vehicle clean.

I have been a customer at this particular location for 45 years. The people who work there are very courteous and anxious to please. I have never had a bad experience. I would say that the car wash services are reasonably priced. I say that based on what it would cost to get a similar service performed in Chicago.

On Saturday 6/10 I visited this location for a routine interior and exterior wash. Once I got of my vehicle and sat on the side waiting area I let them do what they normally do. As they started cleaning and vacuuming I noticed the associate doing the driver side rear kept looking back at me. I was wondering why and hopped up to remember I left my wallet under the drivers seat. Thinking because I was sitting right there she would never touch it or take anything; well I was WRONG. once they finished before I drove up i grabbed the wallet that was under the back seat, I started to drive off and opened the wallet to find the $700 cash that was in it was missing. I immediately jumped back out of the car and asked for the manager. The associate looked pretty nervous but did not admit to taking the cash. The Wallet had been placed all the way under the seat and now was made visible because she had opened it. The management reviewed the footage and how lucky was I that the camera showed suspicious movement but not where she put the money on her body. The Royal oak police were called and the associate didn’t have the money in her pocket of course but they allowed her to leave and roam the premises freely. I am still pursuing action against this employee and facility but I did not leave with my money. So basically a car wash cost me $700. I am very upset and disturbed that they hire un trustworthy employees I also feel this isn’t her first time stealing from someone and want to make everyone aware to not leave things like this in their vehicles. I have cancelled my membership and will NEVER PATRONIZE ANY JAX AGAIN

For $32, i would have expected theyd vacuum the *whole* car, and wipe it down properly. Would have been nice if they had at least done a round of Armor All on the dash for that price. With the wait time involved, i could have done the wash and vacuum myself and saved 30 minutes and $20. The wax job is decent, at least. But I dont think Ill be going back.

Jax is way overpriced with subpar service. The employees are unfriendly and they didn’t even accept cash which is stupid! Especially if they still need to handle/ touch your credit card to complete the transaction. Also, they won’t detail or clean the inside of your vehicle unless you commit to the monthly service plan. If Jax is doing this to keep track of people for the sake of COVID-19, then why is the attendant taking my money without wearing a mask? My vehicle was not even cleaned properly and there underbody flush is useless. Jax has just lost a long time customer and I highly recommend going to another car wash!

Jax gives a great car wash. This new process they have where they force you to sign up for a monthly membership instead of just...getting....a.....simple....wash is irritating. I signed up and didn’t use it for 2-3 months so I cancelled it. I have two car seats in the back and don’t go as often. Tried to come again, he’s explaining these multi-step, packages, there’s a line of people behind me, I pick one then he says oh your email is already in our system so none of the stuff that he just explained to me to 10min applies anymore. My options were do I remember my old card number or old license plate number? My answer is no, so now I have to buy a 3 pack and get presented with another set of 3 options with multiple bullet points, costs me $60 and 25min. They don’t even have the board that shows what your options are ahead of time so I can follow along with what the guy is saying and try not to hold up the line. I just want to pay for you get juice box stains off of my seats lol. Thank you though.

Thee worst car wash membership scam ever! They don’t thoroughly clean your car, if your a member you have too go through the car wash twice…once to wash the exterior and the second time the interior? don’t value or show you respect! Horrible, experience ! The membership service is a scam! Beware !

The people at the front are always a pleasure. However my experience with the cleaners was les than ideal as they were rude at this location. I generally visit the one on Southfield rd and have great service each time. This was my first and last time visiting this location.

Extremely frustrating. Been trying to get detailing for over a week. Called to make an appointment and was told to call back same day of desired service at 10 AM. I did this and had to call 3 times before anyone picked up the phone and then I got transferred to a line that no one answered. Whats the point of an appointment system if I have to call 5 times and still cant even talk to the scheduler and cant book in advance?? Complete waste of time, not worth the effort.

Despite paying extra for it, they NEVER thoroughly clean my rims. They seem frustrated when I bring it to their attention. I should not have to go home and clean my own rims after paying to have it done.

Vacuums are free but have poor suction. They do dry your car with cloths afterwards which is a plus. Cheapest wash is $9 and then it goes up to $13 and up from there. I got a $9 basic wash and the results were good. The attendant told me I should do the $13 because my tires were looking rough but they honestly werent and after the $9 wash they were perfect. It felt like they were insulting my car to try to upcharge me, pretty rude.

The best detailed wash out of all the Jax, more acclimated in terms of team work and being well managed, easy to get in and out (on Orchard Lake the staff is not as friendly and u almost tear your truck up trying to maneuver traffic to get in the place!) and there was no wait time! This will be our go to location!!

Poor quality with the people who dry by hand, i was my car at 9am and they barely touch it, that talks a lot about the quality, it isnt that they were tired.They should brush your defense before you start the wash because the bugs were not cleaned.

Worst car wash experience ever - ONLY in Royal Oak,Rochester location is the best so far.In Oakland county / Royal Oak they hire some of the cheapest unskilled labour they can find from Detroit to run a legit business.Some Employees outside have 0% communication skill + impolite !My Advice is ONLY pay cash, NEVER signup for their loyalty program.Nothing cheap is good, there is always a twist with such discount.

Ok, this is my favorite car wash. The vacuums are super strong and they have this air thing where you can get the crumbs out of the cracks and crevices. after my wash I remembered I needed air, one of the guys who dried the car came over to the gas station with me and did my air. Everyone had on masks. BTW this is only the second time Ive washed my car since the pandemic/shutdown not counting the time I cleaned it myself with a microfiber towel

Had an appointment at 1 o clock for a car detailing. Left the car there, came back at 230 and they hadn’t even started on the car nor knew it was even there. Was told it wouldn’t be done until 430. When I asked why I even needed an appointment the detailing manager said “I don’t know.” Terrible customer service

I took my car up to the Jaxs in Royal Oak at 12 in the afternoon on a Wednesday for a detailing, I only purchased a carpet shampoo as well as a seat cleaning for $88. I chose this brief service because I had other obligations for the day, so I asked how long this service would take and I was told around an hour..maybe an hour and a half. I call back at 4:00p.m checking on the status of my car cleaning thinking maybe I missed their call or they did not have the right number, however, I was told it would be another 40minutes...cool, I just wish they had told me that so I could set my other daily obligations around it. It is now 6:00p.m and Ive yet to get my car back, I have missed several other obligations because of false tellings. Do not go here unless you are willing to cancel your entire schedule for the day. They are obviously overpacking their business and falling short in their work ethic and customer service.

The gas station sucks and the state needs to check it out price gouging on Cigarettes there is a set price on state regulated prices 2.00 more for a pack 9.68 a pack unheard of .

Although very busy, the wait time was minimal and the clean was exceptional. I can see the colour of my car again. Happy days!

I went in two days ago for a much needed wash. New to the area and not having a spot I tried this location. So glad I did. I wanted to get the basic plus or premium- idk service but while trying to read the sign an employee asked if I needed a vacuum station as well. I told him yes and he said to get my car washed and there should be one open by the time Im done. He explained they are not servicing interiors so I pulled up to the window and got something else. The gentleman in the booth even gave me a wipe back with my card. Which I thought was a nice touch and told him. After my wash the first employee outside guided me into the lane to wait for a vacuum station. They have a cone blocking every other station so there is social distance. Once I was done he and another employee came up to my car and offered me a car scent stick. How nice! Thanks to all of you guys! Very pleasant experience.

I’ll start by saying that I had two back-to-back poor experiences here: Cars that weren’t clean and employees who didn’t seem to care. To make matters worse, the web form on Jax’s website that I attempted to use to provide feedback did not work (my receipts weren’t recognized).That said, Kari and Jason went out of their way to make things right. I had somewhat lengthy email and phone conversations with them, respectively, and came away feeling confident that they really did want me to be happy and continue to return as a customer. Likewise, they used my feedback and pictures for coaching and quality control training. I can’t ask for more than that. Thank you.

About done with this JAX. I have been a long time customer here but the service and quality has been dwindling over the years. Today I went to get a full service wash and because of COVID my only options to get the inside done was to either buy a 3 pack booklet or sign up for the unlimited club. I understand everyone is facing difficulties with the pandemic but using it as an excuse to gouge customers is a lousy way to conduct business.

I pay a monthly membership and I rarely get a decent towel dry here. They frequently over pack the car wash causing it to malfunction repeatedly. The car wash itself would get a 4 at best at peak performance. The vacuum station is legit featuring a pressured air nozzle. I still see value in the monthly membership but do notice much can be improved.

I was told to show up at 9:30am for a car detailing. I drove 40 minutes out there and then was told they couldnt do it even though I got there by 9:15am. So irritating and unprofessional.

The 5th or 6th time weve had our vehicle detailed at a Jax and this location was by far the best. Whoever detailed our black Kia Telluride this past Friday deserves a raise!

Just needed the inside of my mothers car done. Because of covid-19 they no longer do inside cleaning of the car unless you buy a package of three washes. Anyway I felt like they did a lacklustre job. Had to ask them to get the dog nose marks off of the rear window. I felt like they could have done a better job cleaning out the cup holders in the console. Anyway, its awkward to have to keep calling them back to do things over. I didnt enjoy the experience for $24.

Oddly enough I had one of the most unsatisfactory interior cleans about a month ago. Had to ask the guys to clean the inside of the windshield. Very unusual though. Ill go back though.

Paid $19 for the best single wash they offer the “ ultimate wash” left with a big big splatter still on my windshield. Got out and realized the front grill, hood and wheel wells were all still very dirty . I Guess I see why they want to get you the unlimited package. May need more then one wash to really get clean. Not a bad place just way to much $ to leave with a dirty windshield
