I buy pre-owned cars and have them fully detailed inside and out soon after getting them. I go to Motor City Auto Spa (MCAS) even though theyre not the closest. With my newest to me car we did a ceramic tint in addition to the detail. They did a great job as always but Im leaving this review because of the way they handled a situation. An interior component on the car got some liquid behind it during the detail. The component was still operable but the dried fluid left a haze. Matt the owner took care of correcting the problem which required a new part and dealer install. The bottom-line is that no matter how good you are, once in a while stuff happens. MCAS took care of the issue in a quick and professional manner. This is the kind of company I want working on my car.

These guys are awesome to work with, worth the wait to get in. I had all three cars in this week and they did an amazing job. Also to show what kind of integrity these guys they found my wifes diamond earring and left it out for us. Feel safe with your car in their hands.

Just had my windows tinted on my new Sierra. I called on Friday afternoon and I had an appointment first thing in the morning the next day. Quick, easy and priced right for getting my front 2 windows tinted. The staff was easy going and helpful and friendly. Ill be back for sure!

Being a car fanatic I am super critical in where I take my car.I took my black Audi S4 to them for the exterior package platinum and am very pleased with the results. It looks showroom condition for an almost four year old car. I couldnt be more satisfied. They offer ceramic coatings and paint protection film for your car.

Staff was very nice and informed me exactly what they were going to do to my car. My car looked liked new when I picked it up(inside and out). Highly recommend this car spa for a car deep cleaning.

Motor City AutoSpa did a great job polishing my car, but what I valued even more was their customer service. I unexpectedly caught a nail in my tire 3 days before my appointment, rendering the car undrivable. I had a photographer scheduled and needed the car to be detailed that week. They were flexible and able to reschedule my appointment for a few days later.

I bought my car after searching for months for the right one. After picking it up and discovering how dirty it was on the inside I was immediately disappointed. I knew that cleaning it was something that I didn’t really want to do, so, I wanted to spend the money and have it professionally detailed. After doing extensive research and reading a lot of reviews, I came to the conclusion that Motor City Auto Spa would provide the best level of service and attention to detail to get my car looking new again. I soon found out how wrong I was about this assumption.After picking it up the first time, I was thoroughly disappointed in the lack of detail that my car received. There were major things not even touched or cleaned. The seat belts were grimy, the buckles still had dirt and grime in them, the map lights had sticky stuff on them, the visors were covered in grease, the radio knobs still had dirt in them, the glove box still had leaves in it, and a lot more. After discussing this with the 11 mile location manager, he suggested I bring it back in.It took them almost two weeks to get me back in, which was pretty annoying considering I just spent a bunch of money to have my car cleaned and it still wasn’t clean. When I brought it back in, I created a list of areas that needed more attention so that they could understand what was still dirty. However, despite this, I can still say that areas of the car still have been missed. The door jams still have clay and debris in them. The passenger side buckle still has gunk in it, the dome light still has gunk on it, the headliner still has stains that I believe will come out as there was a stain originally on the headliner after the first detail that is no longer there. I also was upset at the fact that my seat belt was twisted around. It looked like someone took it off to clean it and didn’t reinstall it correctly. I was told that the person who worked on my car wouldn’t do that but that doesn’t explain how it got twisted because when I brought it in there, it was straight. It took me 25 minutes to get the bolt out to fix it as it was cross threaded and the plastic cover that hides the bolt is now missing and it was there when I dropped it off. I didn’t know I would have to take pics of every inch of my car before dropping it off to ensure it was all there when I picked it up.They also provided me a courtesy wash, which I appreciated, but whoever washed it left excess wax all over the outside. I spent a good 30 minutes when I got home wiping it off and it was a pain. The windshield also didn’t look like it got washed as there was dirt and swirl marks all over it.Ultimately I would not recommend Motor City Auto Spa. They are not worth the premium price tag and do not provide a superior detail. I was thoroughly disappointed with my whole experience and believe a company like this should offer some sort of guarantee, as at this point, I just want my money back instead of having to deal with this headache any longer. Unless you have an expensive exotic car that doesn’t get very dirty, don’t expect to receive a top notch detail, as in my case, it seems like they just don’t care.

Went to Motor City Auto Spa for the second year in a row, and they didnt disappoint 😃 Outstanding customers service and the results have my car looking like it came straight out of the showroom! Motor City Auto Spa is a great place to get your car detailed. I took my 2017 Mazda 3 and they did an awesome job and I was very happy. Car looked like it just came off the show room floor! They were very nice and answered all my questions. Not only that but I ordered the Platinum exterior package and while they were detailing my car, they realized that my car only needed the Gold package and in doing that saved me $85 dollars! I would definitely recommend Motor City Auto Spa to anybody that wants a great car detail and great customer service!

Waste of money. My panel door was ok better after I cleaned it. There were spots on the ceiling, spots on the back seat that came off easily after I cleaned it from leaving the shop. Work was poorly done. Job was rushed. Think Ill be doing it myself for now on.

Easily the best and one of the most professional auto detailer around. There is a reason these guys have been featured in multiple magazines and have won plenty of awards. They are also an Xpel certified installer and do a really fantastic job. For the best results on the Xpel wrap, car should be brand new. Bring the car here ASAP because once you start getting chips in your front bumper, they will be a little more noticeable under the film.

I dont leave reviews. This service deserves one. I brought a vehicle that honestly needed a detail service 3 years ago. They turned the interior to a near new state. Twice as good as I thought it could be!!! Go to the 11mi location if you are even thinking of cleaning the interior of your vehicle, you will be happy with the results.

Best decision I made today was taking my car to Motor City Auto Spa to get detailed. The owner Matt was very honest and told me what all I needed to achieve the look that I wanted for my car. The price was worth it. My car had so many surface scratches from improper washing from over the years and paint imperfections that I never thought wax and buffing could fix. I got the Exterior Package deal and it made my car look like brand new again. I was so happy and impressed with the finished results. Got an exterior detail 2 years ago and it looked amazing when it was done. All cloudiness and scratches were removed from every piece of the car. Went in the other day for a full service detail and was less than impressed. Nooks and crannies were still dirty in the seats and between gaps in the vinyl; and some cloudiness on the exterior this time. Overall, wouldn’t say it was worth the price tag that this detail goes for. Could get the same quality job for half the price elsewhere.

Took my used 2008 Saab that I just bought there because the previous owner was a smoker and there was a cigarette smoke smell left in the car. They detailed the interior and it looked and smelled almost like new even though the car is 10 years old. As part of the interior detail package was a hand wash and they did a great job! Totally worth it and I will be back for sure. Thanks to everyone who worked on my car!!

I picked up my wife’s Caddy XTS today and after the full exterior detail all of the swirl marks on her car were gone and the car looked great. They promised to fix a paint chip and hazing on the hood and they were as good as there word! Everything came out great. I dealt with Andrew and he was very professional and his experience and knowledge of his craft showed throughout my dealings with him. Motor City Auto Spa came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend them worth every cent and more. I’m going back for sure and will be telling my friends, because this place books up fast for a reason. Thanks guys!

Had a couple of my cars detailed with Matt and they did a great job.

I had window tinting installed on all the windows in the car to help with UV protection with a newer product from 3M. They gave me a great price for the material and labor to install on their own will, also provided a free loaner car for a half days worth of work. It turns out window film had defects from the installation. I called them up and they replaced the film and provided a loaner car. Should they have installed the product correctly the first time? Yes, however stuff happens sometimes. Very professional outfit, I will utilize there services again.

These guys are detailing magicians! A Turo guest trashed my car..scratches all over..I thought at least a few panels would have to be repainted at a minimum. A friend recommended Motor City Auto Spa so I tried them first. Absolutely amazing, my car looks like new again. They just locked in a customer for life!

Beware! Your vehicle may return damaged!I left my vehicle with Matt at Motor City Auto Spa. Before paying over the phone, I asked if there were any issues with the complete package I purchased. I was told that everything went well.Unfortunately, this was not the case. The tire shine was blotchy - as though it was not wiped down. The front bumper looked no different from what I dropped off. Finally, the front passenger side air vent was damaged.I called and left a message to be contacted. Matt left me a message that this is a problem with Chrysler vehicles. Seemingly, he now remembered that there was an issue. When I returned the call and spoke with Matt, he claimed that they found a piece on the floor and put it in my glove box and also claimed that he wrote this on my invoice.Neither of these statements were true.He offered to try to fix it and suggested that I visit the dealership for assistance. This is not the experience I expected.Take detailed photos of your vehicle before working with this company. They will lie to you until they are caught and confronted. Issues happen - honesty in dealing with them is what earns my business. Motor City Auto Spa is not that place.

Getting ready to sell my husbands Chevy Cruze so I took it in for an interior detail. I didnt think anyone would be able to get rid of 4 years worth of fast food crumbs and Michigan road salt but these guys did! Great service and the car looks (and smells) brand new! Its rare nowadays to see this kind of pride in work and its worth every penny. Thank you guys so much- I could not be happier!

These guys do a great job. My black Honda had a lot of small surface scratches and holograms on it. I took it to these guys and they gave it the exterior spa package. I honestly couldnt believe how much it improved the appearance of the paint. It looks great again. Theyve gained me as a customer.

Excellent job! I recently acquired an old Saturn from a friend. It was disgusting, 1/4 of sticky fuzz on every hard surface. Spill stains on every seat, and it smelled of spoiled milk. Another detailer wanted over $250 because of how filthy it was. I wish I would have gotten the name of the nice man who worked on my car, but he did an amazing job. It smells wonderful, and every crack and crevice is pristine. Everyone was very professional and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this business.

Motor City auto spa does really good work! I go in for my yearly exterior detail and they always do a good job. In the winter I will occasionally go in for a car wash, but thats pretty expensive.

I wish I had as good an experience as everyone else seems to be having. Too bad to because I had such high hopes for this place based on all the reviews, maybe I just have bad luck with car detailers. Went to pick it up and there was still a giant black stain (like larger than a hand print) on the side of the passenger seat that I had to point out because it was missed. So I waited while the tech got it out and was told to come back if I can still see it when it dries. Fair enough I guess. Got home and was putting the rear floormats back that were left in the trunk and checked around the front passenger seat carpet and seen there were still some dried mud spots and a couple food drips just below the seat. On the plus side they were honest and gave me a $5 bill they found under the seat. The front drivers seat still has dark stains and was told it was...dye (not sure what that means) stains he couldnt get out however Ive had the exact same stains before and another place was able to get out. Ill probably take it somewhere else and see if they can get finished. Bummer.

I had them put a full front XPEL clear film kit on my car and then the whole car war coated in Opti-Coat Pro+. These guys do a phenomenal job and I highly recommend them. I cant say enough good things about Motor City Auto Spa.
