Such a beautiful and peaceful place to live! The management and maintenance staff is what makes this apartment complex an ideal place to call home. They are very helpful and accommodating. The landscape and secluded location is what gives it that extra ambiance. I’ve been a resident since 2013 and I love it here.
Trash service is lazy, no one cleans up after their animals, can’t sit outside with out getting bite by mosquitoes, I’m pretty sure I’m clean but cockroaches have found their way around my area, other residents upper and other side are loud and continuously stomping everyday. Made many complaints never get a response. It’s just lazy management, and they play favoritism.If you like all these then this is the place for you.
If you are looking for nice and easy living experience, Lantower Round Rock is the place to be. The complex is beautifully kept. The pool is stunning and very popular in the summer with the whole community- even when music is played, its not too loud and all the neighbors respect the quiet hours. If you an active type, the complex and surrounding neighborhood have great paths and side walks for walking, running, and riding your bicycle. The gym at the office is open 24/7 with a code and has been newly upgraded. There is lots of space to workout, even if others are in their with you.Throughout covid, the office staff has worked to maintain guidelines for the safety of all residents and guests. If you ever have any concerns or questions, you can pop into the office any time to be greeted with a smile and a helping hand. Colby, Jamie, Ryan, and Camila run a tight ship and genuinely care for their residents. They do a great job helping their residents and answering questions. If a maintenance task cant be completed right away, its still completed in a timely fashion for a complex with this many units.I know I will be renewing my lease here a couple times at least. Were close to several gas stations, grocery stores (HEB is my fave), and restaurants.
Kudos to the Maintenance Crew at Lantower Round Rock. Special thanks to Chris & Jeremiah! They were in and out of my apartment with a water heater replacement. Thought the job would take a few hours, but they took care of the replacement promptly. The entire maintenance team is awesome, but have to mention these two guys in particular. Always very professional and goes above and beyond. When the community was Lodge at Warner Ranch the old staff were rude and unhelpful. The change has been amazing and appreciated! Really disappointed lately. Management switched pest control vendors back in June of this year (2021) and since then, my building has had an issue with cockroaches. They did a kitchen clean out where I had to empty all of my kitchen cabinets so they can spray and they’ve sprayed 3-4 more times after that. I’m still seeing cockroaches and I’ve been keeping my place super clean, pouring bleach down the sink every night, cleaning behind appliances, etc.I don’t know what to do any more. The office just keeps saying “ok we will tell them to spray friday” but I think the real problem lies with the new pest control company they’ve chosen. I spoke with a couple other neighbors as well and they’ve even given up calling the office because they don’t feel they’re doing anything about the issue.I’ve also scheduled for my carpets to be deep cleaned twice already and both times, no one came. I talked to Michael 2 weeks ago and he said he’d get back to me about why that happened and to have it rescheduled but he never did. They are really slacking lately, which is such a shame because I thought management was doing so well before.Also, I leave voicemails and emails and most times I don’t receive a response back.Really not enjoying living here anymore

Jerry is absolutely amazing!! Very friendly, helpful, and always has a smile on his face. Eric (I believe thats his name) the other maintenance guy is wonderful as well. Every time he sees me he greets me with a smile. I have been here for 6 years and by far this is the best maintenance crew this complex has had.
My family had a good time at the block party, Jeremiah, jerry and Chris helped out tha most shouts to them .
I love this place! Maintenance is TOP NOTCH. Jeremiah is absolutely amazing. If I had any issues at all, he got them fixed right away and always with a smile on his face!!! I’ve lived many places and I’ve never come across a maintenance manager like him. Thanks for always making sure my time at Lantower was as comfortable and as stress-free as it could possibly be, Jeremiah! You’re amazing at what you do!!!

The maintenance team is on top of their game! The quick service and efficiency is unmatched.Jeremiah is proactive and very helpful. I put in an order for light bulbs; not only did he do that, but he also noticed I needed a filter change and proactively went and got a new one for me. He really pays attention and shows he cares about the tenants.& Chris! I once put in a work order request and 30 mins later he was knocking at my door to come help. Their team is great at their job and super friendly. I honestly couldn’t ask for anything better. Thank you both for all your hard work!
Love the apartment itself. Location isn’t my favorite but it’s affordable and well kept!
Lantower’s overall appearance could be updated, all my appliances are very old, and the floors are very thin (my downstairs neighbors can hear me walk). I do appreciate the maintenance team though, and they make up for any downfalls. Jeremiah and Chris always fix any issues in a timely manner and make sure I am comfortable living here.
On February 15,2021 I was stuck in snow for hrs, couldnt move my car so I left it. Come back to try to move it again and couldnt but all the sudden two ppl come down getting ready to go sledding. A-by (his name) and his Lady helped me get the car frm being stuck and got it around to my apartment to where a groundskeeper was and he had a shovel and cleared a path to continue to park safely! Now. IF THAT AINT GODS WORK THEN I DONT KNOW WHAT IS

He made sure every step of the process was explained to a T nothing was left out and we got everything done in a hour. It was a absolute pleasure to speak with and make sure my move back to Texas was done the best way possible. Lantower Warner Ranch feels and looks like a neighborhood, not people stacked in boxes. The staff is always friendly and professional. Living here is easy and carefree. And the prices are great!

They have a 24hr line to make appointments that the leasing office wont keep. 30 minutes of waiting and multiple calls and the final representative finally said I cant help you. I guess my name was just a little too ethnic.

Jamie was suuuuper helpful in getting me signed up for my apartment. It was an emergency and she made it her priority to help me get my application expedited. I came in and applied and the very next day she handed me the keys! Daiquiri didn’t work with me directly on this but I know she did some heavy lifting in helping Jamie with my application as well so thank you to both !!I used to live here before and I left because of management. They have a new manager now and I think she’s doing a great job. I also notice the maintenance staff and their urgency to take care of work orders has improved. I hope they keep it up!
They don’t even deserve the one star.I submitted my application, paid admin fees and paid the deposit for the rest of July. I was told I could move in on Wednesday the 24th. I gave notice I’d be moving out to my current complex and packed my things.Today, Tuesday the 23rd, I ask when I can get my keys and that’s when they decide to tell me I was denied????? Because of some property debt that is absolutely nowhere on my credit? They can’t even tell me how much I supposedly owe. Why wasn’t this verified when I applied? Why wasn’t I told they were waiting on any sort of background check? Why did they take my money for July without having a final decision on my file?Now I’m homeless with a toddler. They were quick to accept my money without a single hesitation but now they want me to wait 6 weeks for a check!I’ve been sitting at their office for an hour and a half waiting for their manager, Jaime, to come back from her lunch break. When I asked why she’s taken over an hour, their response is that she’s running personal errands. Wow.When I finally get to talk to the amazing Jamie, she says they can’t do anything and refuses to give me the corporate office information and even laughs in my face when I insisted.I’ve never seen such incompetent, rude and vicious people in my life. Stay away.—Response: It shows how little they care about the humiliation they put me through as there is no apology or even a mention of it at all in the response. I mentioned I was laughed at in my review, what management company is perfectly fine with that?Reading through the responses being left on other negative reviews shows the same lack of professionalism and empathy this company and manager have.

I had to move into an apartment abruptly after living in a house for years. The Lodge at Warner Ranch helped me get in quickly and were very helpful with the process. The office staff has always been very helpful and nice. I enjoy this quiet apartment complex and will be here for the next several years at least.

PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE! I have never been so dissatisfied with an apartment complex. The management sucks. A work order takes about 3-6 weeks for them. Ive had mold in my apartment since the day I moved in. The manager told me to clean it myself. The pool is hardly ever clean or in working order. It was closed and looked like a swamp for over a month. The office has lost at least 3 of my packages. My refrigerator has been leaking water on the kitchen floor for MONTHS and they wont fix it. I CANNOT wait to move out of here!!! Wish I could give the place a ZERO rating!
Worst office staff ever!!!! They dont let you know about their community policies before taking your money and refusing to refund it then belittle you because you dont already know the policies when moving from out of state how would you know the policies!!! Then they give you the run around with their online app and dont help you at al or return calls you have to call them a million times to get any answers!! So glad I found out before u got stuck in a 18 month lease!!
Lived here for over 3 years so I have seen a lot of management turn over and updates. We have had generally positive experience since living here. The management is professional and helpful. Just today Daiquiri and the manager Jamie stayed after hours to help me. Big improvement since lantower bought out the place. There has been progressive improvements to the amenities as well. No place is perfect and you’ll always have people who had a bad experience and review bomb the review section but our experience here has been quite pleasant.
ZERO STARS! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! I have been a 2.5 year resident and I cannot wait to move. Over the past two years, this apartment has went through a plethora of staff and the luxury living is over exaggerated! The staff that is currently here is pitiful and by far the WORST staff this place has had. The maintenance crew is far from few and do not expect to get your maintenance request done for months. The pool is murky. The gates never work. It always smells like trash and dog poop. If you call the front office, they NEVER pick up!! The apartments are not worth the price and the fees are outrageous. The manager Jamie Jenning has the WORST customer service Ive ever seen and thats why this facility has the rating it does. The previous staff was way better!! I cannot wait to move and if you read these reviews, please do waste your time coming here.Let me add that this review is coming from someone who paid their rent on time EVERY time here the last 2.5 years, had low maintenance issues, and my apartment was so clean that someone can move in the next day. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
Like the rest of the comments NEVER MOVE HERE i use to live here in 2014 and I can honestly say GREYSTONE was the best to ever own these apartments just by these apartments I can say that I will never move in to any Lantower owned apartment again also just so everyone knows moving to another one of their apartment wont change your experience the property manager here is a traveling property manager so she visits all of themresponse to owner: first of which is I paid all my fees and everything so that is not the problem so there is no need to be putting my business out there like that, it is extremely unprofessional. my problem is with the maintance and the staff reread the comments and instead of just apologizing to people actually do something about it and make the apartments a better living place for people we are paying every month and for what? where is the money being invested? cause it is definitely not in the apartments.

And now I remember I actually did visit this property a couple months ago and I remember when I walked in it smelled awful like dogs throughout the entire office. The staff member was a Hispanic lady in the office who was standing up just chatting with someone else who had a dog in the office and the staff member didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in even though she saw me when I peeped my head in the office. I left right afterwards cause I couldn’t stand the smell inside that place. So yeah, I definitely saw your less than friendly customer service for myself and my opinion still stands along with the rest of the bad reviews on here from residents.
NEVER LIVE HERE! It is not a family friendly apartment. They consider my toddler as a pet. He is in the middle of potty training and they charged me a pet fee of $100 when I moved out because they found urine in the carpet. I HAVE NEVER OWNED A PET! They also charged me for a $50 trashcan that they stole from my front door when they were washing the concrete. Last but not least they charged me $65 for damage to the lament flooring that their maintenance team did when they attempted to fix the fridge. I also sent the manager an email about the flooring being messed up and they were suppose to fix it which they never did. Then, I had to wait for a year for them to come out to replace my dryer (which at the end completely stopped working). Once they finally replaced it they replaced it with a dryer that squeaked so loud I never wanted to do laundry and it ate almost all our clothes. Yes, we did damaged that they charged us for and yes I admit to the ones that we did but to get charged for things that I never did is ridiculous. I remember the first year of living there was amazing. The staff was super outstanding and the maintenance was quick and got the job done right the first time. Then the last year when they were bought out was the worst year of my life to live somewhere. Never got our fridge, dryer, or floor fixed. So please take my advice and never live here!---THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHARGING TO REPLACE CARPET AND CHARGING A PET FEE!!
Beautiful wooded set up and maintenance and staff work hard to solve issues. Wish the back gate was entry as well but in all very satisfied for the price and location.
I loved living here last year and enjoyed the previous staff. I am sorely disappointed with the current staff. The Lodge sold out to a new company is horrible. They only kept one original staff member, Jason, who is an awesome person. We were promised that there would be only a $20 increase on our new rent. When this new company bought out the old one they added on a bunch of hidden fees. Now theres a dog tax of $5 (we dont even own a dog), and we originally had been grandfathered into free daily trash pick-up. Well, this new company fired the old trash collection company and hired a new one which has a mandatory fee of $25. They pulled this moved so everyone who was grandfathered in will now have to pay. We said we didnt want the trash pick up and they said everyone has to ha e it. The manager told my bf that if we didnt like this now $50 increase we have 30 days to move out. Well put up with this BUT WE ARE NOT RENEWING NEXT YEAR !!!
My review some how keeps getting deleted and I’ll continue to write it again, but somehow the place is getting worse. This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The maintenance team just quit, AGAIN. And I can’t say I’m surprised. Which is unfortunate because they were the best part of this place. It’s been over a month to get repairs in my apartment. Which is leaking windows. And guess what, it’s raining tonight! So 3 of my windows are letting in water. It took a month to get my dryer vent cleaned out. And now my dryer is literally burning my clothes. BUT they did get a fancy new lantower sign in the front... so I guess that’s a plus! Ha. Priorities are not with the current residents. Stay away. Save yourself the hassle of having to deal with rude managers and broken appliances..etc.
Lots of fleas. Fleas everywhere. My poor dog cant go anywhere any more and he suffers because there are so many fleas. I do not think the new owners spray any more and its very sad. I am out of here once my lease is up. Pet friendly? No they are not, they will take your money for having a pet but thats all they care about. Save your pets! do not stay here!

Been staying here almost a year and i liked enjoyed the location of the community which is very near to few of the places. But there are few things like GYM can be upgraded to add few more items. Right now there are less items. No sports play ground inside the community.

This has to be the best apartment we could have chosen. The leasing agents are great to work with and if we have any problems that need a work order it gets done right away. I would recommend this place in a heart beat.A year later and companys have changed and no one cares about getting service requests complete.

I toured an apartment to find it was mostly a good other than the stale cigarette smell, cheap cabinets and counters. However, the real trouble was when I applied online. The next morning I saw the myriad of poor reviews and I decided this wasnt the place for me. I called to cancel my application and they said they wouldnt refund any of the $250 deposit fee. The reason they stated was because my application had not been accepted yet. This doesnt make sense at all. I just found one negative thing after another.
I could go on forever but this place only caters to new customers and then you get the shaft. The place is old and neglected. Save your money and look elsewhere! No need for the management to reply to this and try to lighten this comment.
This places is quiet and nice BUT you gonna have to pay a huge fee for moving out. My family and I moved out of these apartments 2 months ago and we had pay a high amount of money for moving out and because they said that our apartments was dirty and had damages when they know that’s a lie. When we got there the dishwasher didn’t work, the bathroom extractor didn’t work, and also the bathroom door handle didn’t work, we notified that to office so many times and they didn’t fix anything. We lived there for 2 years and they never checked the air conditioning filter the whole time we were living there, and they still charged us for damages, and also today my dad got a call from them saying that he owns them about $200 when he already paid a lot of money. The deserve zero star. I am not who to say “do not move to these apartments” but I will say think about it like 100 times before moving.
The review is for the front office. How astounding corporate has done nothing to address the complaints. The property is beautiful. The layouts of the apartments are wonderful. The things requiring maintenance inside the apartments include poorly maintained washers and dryers, garbage disposals, and the air conditioning and heating units. The MANDATORY garbage takeaway system is outrageous as they only come four days a week but it is REQUIRED for each apartment to be charged thirty dollars a month for the garbage takeaway where it is literally one or two guys that come by, grab your garbage bag, throw it IN THE TRUNK OF THEIR CAR and then drive it to the dumpster. This should never be required to pay for this type of service. Ever. The maintenance staff is wonderful as it is not their fault that communication from the abhorrent front office fail to reach them or be conveyed correctly.Overall- apartments are great- property is beautiful- front office is beyond subpar and it doesnt come down to just one individual, it is the ENTIRE front office. Extremely poorly managed and ran. There are no repercussions for errors made by the staff. They are unapologetic, rude, and self righteous.- maintenance - wonderful and kind people, they always have a wave or smile when passing them on the property- greystar - the parent company - clearly do not care at all about the numerous poor ratings on the front office - understand that SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THEIR PRIORITIES - it is not you they consider a priority but their bottom dollar.
Resident since Aug 2017. Dont be fooled by how the apartment entrance looks, its the only area where money and care is invested. Everywhere else, broken glass, the hallways smell terrible because of the bad trash service. The garbage compactor will randomly stop working and even when it is, it is surrounded by junk and garbage. It often smells up the surrounding area in the summer. Nobody picks up after their pets. The pool water is always murky, management doesnt keep up with the cleaning. Washers and dryers will randomly break throughout the complex, resulting in flooded apartments. The appliances are ancient, the fridge sounds like a lawnmower, the dishwasher doesnt wash dishes, and the temperature settings for the stove and oven are wonky. If you want anything done with the management team, be prepared to follow up at least 3 times and double check their work after theyre done.
We recently decided to rent here despite all the negative comments, the price for the square footage and the great landscaping outweighed the negative comments. When we originally started we talked to Daphne, who seems to be getting a lot of flak for not smiling, being rude, and impatient. As a first time renter my girlfriend and i spent 30-45 minutes asking her questions that experienced renters would probably know. Never once did she seem angry or upset with the time it was taking us to ask questions. She was EXTREMELY helpful. She went out of her way to recommend electricity companies and things like internet. Was honestly a great experience. When we originally went in they were talking about how they had just recently taken over the property and they were planning a lot of changes but that it takes time. A week later we went in and they had people renovating the game room. So as far as i can see they are trying to fix or improve the grounds. The complaints about management AFTER move in i have not had the opportunity to experience yet but if anything changes i will leave another review.
Im so glad to read that Im not the only one that has problems with this complex. I agree with the above comments pertaining to the staff. They have no professionalism and/are rude and very money hungry. Heres what happened to me. After deciding to move there, we signed a lease on a Friday evening and gave them all deposits, such as prorated rent, dog deposit, move in a day early fee and of course the application fee. The was about $650.00 dollars. Unfortunately for me, within 2 days I would be taken by ambulance to the emergency room after suffering a very scary attack at home. I was told I was bleeding internally and would need exploratory surgery to see why and to see if it was cancer. How scary of a time for me and the family. After leaving my doctor and being told this bad news, we knew I could not face a move at this time. My current landlord is the nicest guy and let us stay there, as he said, as long as we needed. But when I went to talk to the management at The Lodge at Warner Ranch, it was quite a different story. My husband had Sara Looney come out to the car and talk with me because I was too sick to go inside. I told her the situation and that I could not move into the apartment and I could not afford to pay rent at both locations. Since we never even moved in you would think they would have a heart, I offered to give them any proof of what happened to me and what was ahead. All she talked about was a break the lease fee and this and that fee. I never lived there!!! I told them they should keep the application fee, since they actually did the work to get it processed, and give us the remaining money back. Did they do that, of course not. Did they take the $650.00 dollars we gave them and apply it to the break the lease fee so that we would only owe them a couple hundred dollars......No. Instead they are charging us some bogus fee of nearly $3,700.00. And the $650.00 is missing. They are trying to ruin our credit and if we ever need to rent again this will always be there. I guess they wont be happy until they put a family out in the streets. The staff in this office are too young and inexperienced to understand what they are doing to people. We are in our fifties and never had a problem like this before, because we are responsible adults. But people get sick and emergencies happen. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
I used to love living here, I even signed a long term lease. However, I am regretting that decision. I submitted a service ticket almost 2 months ago and I am still waiting for it to be completed. Mold is growing under my bathroom cabinets and my bathroom is starting to smell. Im honestly in shock over this issue, as I have lived here for four years and never had any problems before. Very disappointed. Not likely to renew my lease.
The staff was VERY nice when they were luring me to move here. Once I got here, not a month later almost the entire staff was changed out, save for the Asst Mgr. The apartments and area are superb. The staff is HORRID. People can make or break a place and they are breaking it. They treat you like an inconvenience until it comes around to renewing your lease. Every neighbor I speak with says the same. They dont tackle issues that need attention and their policies are inconsistent. Things wont change unless they change the asst manager as well. We will be leaving unless it changes.

Honestly, I am shocked to see such low ratings on the property. What I can totally understand and respect is that everyones personal experiences and circumstances are going to vary which overall substanciates their perspective of the property. As a resident who has seen several changes within management, I can truthfully say that the transitioning never affected my current view of the property.Why I initially gravitated to the property was solely based on my routine commuting habits.Up until now, it is still a convenient location that is continually expanding its perimeter amenities (stores, hotels, gas stations, etc.) What I have valued most about the property is the pricing and its altogether community safety rating. In my opinion, there is no greater priority to me then feeling safe in a place I lay my head and call home. Please rest assured that the property does not disappoint on this aspect.I noticed some concerns regarding valet trash, but luckily I have never had an issue with the valet trash system. I follow the guidelines and my trash is picked up accordingly.If I could insert my only concern on this service, it might be that it should be a choice and not mandated. But as I stated, it hasnt been an issue so I will leave well enough alone lol.I will keep this review as short as possible because as noted earlier, my overall experience has been pleasant. Thankfully, I can also note that Ive had no complaints on how my packages are accounted for in the main office nor my service requests*, which might I add are few and far between.Hopefully this review finds you all well, is helpful, and you give the property a chance.Ironically it was word of mouth which later led to Google reviews that persuaded my decision to reside here. All this time later, I am happy to advise the reviews did not disappoint and were much appreciated.
I lived here since August, 2017, my experience is horrible and disastrous. They gave me the dirtiest apartment on earth, they did not even clean it when they gave me the key. I was shocked when I saw it. I have to wait for more than a month for them to fix a clogged toilet. I reported a clogged toilet almost two weeks they just fixed it. We spent yesterday day night without a/c, I was about leave that apartment to rent a hotel. Too much problems here. The good thing is my lease is about to end

Management is a real piece of work, shame on you Warner Ranch for not communicating with us first. I even tried calling you to talk about why you reported us instead of speaking to us first but you just kept hanging up on me. You made us feel like dishonest criminals! I have never felt so humiliated. We paid the agency and we would have paid you directly if you would have talked to us first but this is so indicative of management! I am so glad our contract fell through you guys are horrible communicators and you dont care at all about people you care more about money. I would prefer to tell you instead of having to say it in a review but you refuse to answer your phone!
I am definitely a fan of this place. I mean every place is going to have problems but they get people out quickly to solve the issue. It is a little expensive to have two cats, or two animals for that matter. I have had issues with delivery companies not recognizing where it is because their systems dont recognize Warner Ranch Dr and it gets automatically changed to Warner Ranch Rd, which is just a connecting street. We also did have a weird moment when a full grown man walked into the the gym when my boyfriend and I were working out, took the roll up mats and laid down against the mirrors to watch some videos on the phone. But generally, its been uneventful since we moved in 3 months ago and thats what you want.
I went to the office very mad because they have doubled my water bill. I was in line with other of my neighbors that were also mad about the water too. The people in the office were trying to explain what happened so I got to hear them explain many times. I am not to happy but I understand. It was not their fault. The water company messed up. The young girl, I dont know her name was very nice to me.

This is NOT A gated community AND the office staff is the very OPPOSITE of nice and friendly, this place is a Scam ran by con artists. This property continues to go downhill because of the lazy and incompetent staff. They continue to fire office staff and replace them with worse people. Jaime jennings is a sad excuse for a property manager. I’ve worked with and met people a million times better, she is disrespectful and has shown discrimination of residents. Never once has she shown any remorse for her actions. How dare you all have the audacity to disrespect and disregard your tenants Needs and advertise a luxurious gated community and not Expect tenants to Require you all to hold up your end of the deal. A few months ago I expressed all of my concerns to the upper management terry winters and for a short while she pretended to care about me and the terrible situation I am dealing with, i expressed my desire to move and literally she promised things would get Better but i guess since her precious maintenance staff has once Again quit she has since decided to block my number to my dismay ; she’s an embarrassment as well. But I have not done anything to deserve this mistreatment that I have experienced while living here. My washer and Dryer are Both pieces of Junk. I have not Been able to Wash or Dry clothes in Weeks, which means i literally have clothes piling up to the ceiling. I have not asked for anything that was not promised to me in my lease. But here I am stressing day in and day out about the misconduct I am experiencing . The entire office staff is a complete failure and disgrace. They probably won’t even be there much longer. And like I said What an embarrassment to have your maintenance staff continue to quit. When you call the office the lines are always busy. Which is terrible for a business. When you finally are able to speak to some incompetent person they will not be willing to help you. They have repeatedly refused to accept my work orders although I have expressed trouble with putting them in online. Treating me as if I am not important but yet requiring me to still pay for decent services I am not getting.: The previous office staff was Much better but they were replaced. I have contacted corporate office numerous times and i the hardest time getting someone to actually call me back but believe me I will Not stop until my voice is heard. I know people in high places too. Lantower round Rock is one big SCAM and the employees are liars. It’s against the law to promote FALSE INFORMATION online. It is misleading and after 2years of living here I wouldNever recommend lantower round rock to anyone. This complex barely have 2 stars and they should really have a Negative 2. What a joke! I will not keep waiting around twiddling my thumbs for some decency and respect to be shown here. I am expecting a call from the director of operations Brian Roberts, I have left several messages for him but he has yet to return my call. I am prepared to take all necessary steps to ensure that i don’t have to continue to live like this.
RUN AWAY NOW!!! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We moved into these apartments in 2017 and it was honestly the most luxurious apartments to live in. When the LANTOWER management took over, it all went south. It is now the middle of summer (July 4th, the peak of Texas summer heat) and the pool has been unusable since the end of May. I kid you not, it’s an actual swamp. They love making promises to calm the residents down and then they won’t do it. The pool should be a priority during the summer but they really don’t care. On top of that, maintenance is terrible. The previous management always kept the grounds clean got to repairs ASAP. Now the whole place still has leaves from fall and our AC has been broken for almost 2 months.Not to mention the staff. Worst set of people to work at our office so far. They are so quick to smile and reassure you but really they plan to do both to fix your problem. Let’s not forget about how they treat our kids like animals, shoo-ing them away like they are pests.The lantower company was quick to remodel the office so they could draw in new people but once you’ve signed a lease, they really couldn’t care less about you.I could talk all day about more reasons why you should not live here but I think you get the gist of it. LEAVE WHILE YOU CAN.Ps. All the replies you see to these bad reviews are just the management trying to save their image. They truly aren’t gonna do anything about these complaints.Have a wonderful day as you look for somewhere else to live!
Jason and the rest of the staff are awesome. There were a lot of changes with the new management coming in but they adjusted and never missed a beat. They are always responsive
Spoke to a manager in regards to my application before I filled it out. Disclosed that I had an old broken lease and she said it would be approved because she practically ran the place and I good rental history since. I paid a lot of money during the application fee and got denied. They kept my money and now I’m stuck without my money back. Dishonest management. I think it’s a blessing in disguise based on the reviews I saw on here. Need to replace your entire staff.

The management team here is the WORST. The manager and assistant manager are non-responsive. After multiple attempts when you DO finally get a hold of them, they are rude and dismissive. The grounds and public maintenance is not taken care of. despite putting in requests to do so. Things like broken glass on the walkways, lights out in carport areas, etc do not get addressed. Do yourself a favor and do NOT rent here. You will regret it if you do.

I moved here a couple of years ago and it was a great move-in experience. The place is quiet and its decent. Then management changed and the front office people became very rude and unhelpful. If they can take advantage of you they will. I dont want to move out because I like the area and the rent isnt too terrible, but dealing with the front office is a horrible experience every time. They are the only reason I give this place a bad rating. The appliances could use an upgrade, too, but Id prefer an upgrade in the staff.
Worst customer experience Ive experienced at any apartment. A/C broke down and after 12 hours and my apartment reaching 90 degrees, still no service. I would expect with the heat in Austin and prevalence of AC units there would be a better system of maintenance, but service has been lackluster. After calling repeatedly, I was told to wait indefinitely. Employees would not let me speak to manager when I asked.
I have been wanting to move here for the past month. I did extensive research and read endless reviews on how the property/office management is rude, disrespectful, dishonest and lazy. I have visited friends that live in this apartment complex and still found that this is where I wanted to reside once it was time for me to move. The rent which was listed at between 1160 and 1200 was great considering their are new apartment complexes with high end amenities, stainless steel appliances, huge rooms and living areas, amazing kitchen are and breathtaking closet and restroom spaces, but of course you will be paying at least 1270 or above.Today is Friday and I was ready to come in and put my deposit down at Lodge at Warner ranch for a 2/2 for myself and my daughter. I knew I would have no worries getting approved as a hard working single mother who pays all bills and on time. To my astonishment the rent for the smaller 2/2 is starting at a whopping $1270 and it gets better... that the low end price, it gets higher. I was told to speak to Kendra, let her know I was referred by the tenants currently living there. Of course one person cant change things but OMG to pay that much I might as well go on New Meister lane and put a deposit down with the new developments there that offer so much more. Pretty sad how apartment complexes price gage like that and have reason to believe its because its tax season and some people just take whatever because of certain situations. Ill wait on it.
Do not move here if you want to be charged HUGE MOVE OUT FEES!! Pleasant experience when moving in and renting the apartment. one reason i moved was because appliances where old and carpet was old as well. sometimes my trash bin would get stolen as well and that was a minor issue but still annoying but the reason i give only 1 stars is due to the move out. everything was great when i moved out they even were nice enough to extend me a few days but still had to pay of course but when i moved and received my final move out bill..i I was charged HUGE MOVE OUT FEES!! over 500! price was crazy ridiculous and tired to justify it by saying replacement of carpet but they supposedly changed it when i moved in so newayz yea beware of things like this if you move here!!
The management here is awful (completely non responsive), the pool is not in a good condition its like no one does any cleaning for it. The other reviews are right, its only the entrance area that looks nice, everything else is terrible.
This apartment complex pisses off the entire Warner Ranch community! Residents moving out feel it necessary to dump their unwanted furniture in the streets. Shame on the piss poor management for not taking action to stop this from happening!!! Stay away from this place!
Please for the love of all thats good and holy, DO NOT move here. You know when youre reading reviews on a place to live and you think, maybe its different now, maybe this tenant is over-dramatic. I PROMISE YOU THIS ISNT THE CASE, JUST DONT MOVE HERE! I will explain why, but first I have to say, caution: youll be smitten by the beautiful complex and location. BUT let me start off with the staff, management, and Grey Star in general. Bernadette and Daphne are the most inconsiderate, unprofessional, rude workers Ive ever had the displeasure to deal with. I once caught Daphne saying rude things about me IN FRONT OF ME to another maintenance worker in spanish. (Im bilingual and understood what she was saying). Bernadette lied to me at move in about my prorated rent, saying we owed $726 but then right before move in she tacked on extra fees that werent talked about. And you WILL NOT get anywhere with Grey Star, or have any luck with corporate. I cant count how many offices I called all over Texas and left desperate messages with the problems Ive had. I once got in touch with a manager (Kathy Chomycia) who was understanding of my frustrations just for her to end up never responding to me again and keeping zero of her promises, including when she tried to buy me off with dinner that she never followed up with me about.Moving onto maintenance, Ive had a dishwasher back up and leak sewage all over my apartment just for the apartments to ignore me and say its not an emergency for days while my apartment smells like a literal dumpster. When the workers finally came to replace the dishwasher, I heard them saying they dont have to get the water vacuum to suck up all the disgusting water that had been sitting there because its our problem. IN MY HOUSE. Yeah.My toilet is currently leaking water and they dont consider that something that should be done same day so now Im stuck waiting, again. Communication seizes to exist in this complex, I have to do their job of them no matter what. Ill wait for maintenance for hours just to call the front office and have them tell me theyre not coming in. The management as well as maintenance lie, a lot. For example, my washer and dryer (from them) are pieces of crap. I called them to ask them to fix my washer that was leaking and not draining water. They had the audacity to tell me that ON MY DAY OFF, they came in and werent able to enter because of my dog. I was home all day, and my dog (she would have barked if a stranger was unlocking the door) nor I ever experienced someone walking through my door. When I confronted the office all they said was I dont know why they said that with no follow up afterward.Finally, when the worker came to fix the problem, he ripped up my floor and peeled back the wood laminate, which has yet to be brought back up from the office. I could seriously write a book on why The Lodge is the worst apartments Ive ever lived in, but Im sure half of the people reading this have already stopped. All Im saying is, you can find an amazing attractive complex with good location somewhere else, probably with better pricing as well, and you wont have to deal with this hell. I cant move out of here soon enough, by far the worst 13 months ever. Please please please DONT move here.
Been living here for a few months and already having issues. The valet trash people arent picking up our trash when theyre supposed to. We informed the leasing office and they hand me a business card for the trash company and said that WE need to call them and speak to their supervisor. We are paying for a service that were not even getting! Weve told the office that we shouldnt have to pay for the days that they havent picked up, but they told us that we cant do that. Weve called the trash company several times and they still arent picking up the trash. Next time it happens, Im just going to leave the trash in the leasing office.
I used to love this place but now I’m really disappointed in the new management. My rent bill was less than normal and I went in right away to get the issue resolved with one of the managers, Farren. Long story short, she said the bill was correct because of the lease end date coming up soon. I turn in my check then 2 days later I get a call from the other manager, Kimberlee, saying my check is short and that I in fact did owe more money like I originally thought. She asked me to come in the next morning to discuss. The next morning I went in to discuss and Kimberlee wasn’t even there. I brought in a new check to give to Amber who informed me that they’re going to now add on late fees because it is now after rent due date. They erred but I get fees. GREAT. I ask to speak to Farren, the manager who made this mistake but Farren refused to come out of hiding from her office because she’s “not really supposed to be here on a Saturday” Why do they have office hours on the weekend if their staff has no clue what’s going on and the managers are hiding in their offices? These girls are very unprofessional and rude. Lots of communication is lost when management has their poorly trained staff running back and forth passing along information. Their staff makes mistakes and the residents suffer as a result. I miss the old management company. Really wish I hadn’t just signed the new lease a few weeks ago.
I should’ve read the comments before I moved in. The valet trash service is a joke, the office staff is very rude, my refrigerator sounds like a lawnmower, the lights outside of my apartment don’t work, half the lights in my apartment don’t work, and there’s broken glass by my apartment door. The space provided for the for my trash is super small and I’ve been told if my neighbor puts trash out that’s on the ground I’ll be charged $25 fee along with my neighbor, but why should I have to pay for something that’s not mine. The manager called me from I’m assuming her personal cell after business hours from a blocked number to give me a “warning” about the trash.... no ma’am you want to talk business you call me during business hours from you business line. There needs to be a better system in place for this stupid trash service.... I take my own trash at least 4-5 times a week but I can’t opt out of paying for the stupid valet trash service. The guy who picks up the trash is lazy anyway. If you have other options take them please make this complex your last resort.
Nothing gets on my nerves more than an apartment complex that has gates that are ALWAYS broken, never working!!!!Also trash in the parking lot that will not be picked up for days even weeks sometimes! For example not to long ago i found a condom on the grass, DISGUSTING!Then, there is the gym that is okay. Just never has sanitizer, or wipes and before we use to be able to access the restroom there, but now we cant access the restroom at all. Tv there is pointless since if you go to the gym you cant switch the channel or raise the volume.I have been living here for almost 3 years now and it was WAY better before. Very disappointing!!!

I do believe the unit I rent is beautiful and spacious. I rent the 2/2 and it has two enormous bedrooms. The patio is also big compared to other patios Ive had.Now, the downfalls. I am a clean person, probably above average when it comes to cleaning. Since the first day I moved in, I have had a roach problem. I have now counted 7 times they have exterminated (they do it on Mondays upon request) and I have only lived here 3 months. Today, I roach ran across my foot and I found another roach in my sons room. It is not only disgusting but also frightening. I will place another request for extermination but that does not seem to solve the problem.Another downfall: the one dumpster. There is only one in the whole apartment complex. I rent in walking distance to the dumpster. However I see others drive their trash in their trunk or even on top of their cars just to dispose of their trash. For an apartment complex this big, there should be more than one dumpster.Finally, the back exit gate has been broken for 4 days straight now. Thus, you have to drive all the way to the front just to exit the premises. The back gate is often broken and you do not know it until you are in line to exit and the gate will not open.I would not recommend this apartment complex primarly because of the roaches. I can handle driving trash to a dumpster and a continously broken gate. However, I cannot handle roaches running over my foot or in my sons toys.
Staff was rude and unhelpful when looking for an apartment. Only good thing was the free coffee, but the lids didnt even fit the cup... very unimpressed.
The apartment was nice.
First, I moved into a filthy apartment with bed bugs. Lease started on a Friday but they told me I couldn’t enter till Saturday & then they forgot I had a garage so I couldn’t have that until the following week. Even then, when I had my movers ready to come in….I walked into a FILTHY apartment. I had to tell me movers to go eat (I had to pay for the 3 hour delay & food) while I cleaned my apartment ..which should have been done before. SO I went to cleaning. Washers & dryers are provided in the apartment. I took a washcloth & threw it into the washing machine but found that there was already some clothes there left from the prior resident. AND on top of the clothes was a BED BUG! So the apartment was infested prior to my move in. Nice…just real nice. So I told my movers to not bother. I couldn’t move all my stuff into my apartment with bed bugs. SO now I have paid my movers a total of 7 hours just to load up my stuff from my storage unit, onto the truck & now back to my storage unit. When I reached out to the community manager I received an apology &$25 gift card to Olive Garden. Thx…that really helped. Because now I get to pay my movers again to actually move me in. Months went by with zero follow up. FYI: typically there is follow up on every service request and every pest control issue. I asked for ..i think it was 4 treatments before the issue was resolved. Ive attached pictures of just 1 wipe on a kitchen counter. That was when I moved in. The bathroom was a hideous nightmare. I sprayed a foam cleaner on the bathtub walls & by the time the foam had settled to the bottom it was brown…zero scrubbing and it was already brown. Picture of the bottom of my feet after walking in my apartment for about 10 min. So good luck to whomever is moving into apt 310.So from there nothing gets better. Literally 7 weeks before service requests are completed & then they are only completed because you have to put A LOT of pressure on the office.Several car break ins. Once came home after dark & my garage wouldn’t open. None of the garages in that section were working. I had to park in the regular parking lot…no big deal. UNTIL, my car was broken into. I notified the office & had zero follow up & 2 days later my garage was fixed. Good thing my car wasn’t parked in it. I have attached a picture of a car on blocks in the parking lot & the lame response from the manager.Office staff is incompetent at best. The manager does not listen to understand but listens to form a response of how great she is. We tried to discuss the many issues & she only said, “I’ve had 20+ years in the apartment industry & I’ve done great work with communities in distress”. They are rude on the phone.Several cars every week that have no license plate & inspection stickers. Every week I count about 10 cars that are obv either being abandoned there or someone is flipping cars & using the parking lot as their place of business/personal garage. So parking is a major issue that I see many other resident’s complain about. I mentioned this to the office and I see no difference in these cars.LOUD upstairs neighbors! Once resident says she has to sleep with ear plugs.The gym is filthy. Again, something else I mentioned to the office. Chains are broken on a lot of equipment and so therefore a lot of the equipment do not work properly. The A/C filter was caked on black. The water fountain is yellow with old hard water. Nothing is cleaned. Tv’s do not work. A/C is ALWAYS broken and office gives a thousand excuses as to why. Took 5 weeks for them to change the light bulbs. Included are pictures of what the gym really looks like compared to their site picture.Water! Each apartment needs water softner. I have to scrub and I mean seriously scrub the bathroom and kitchen every week because the water is so hard and gross. Have to change the water filter 30 days (which gets expensive). Have to buy a special conditioner for my hair because this water destroys it.I guess you can say the apartments have a good lay out. So that’s one thing.
If you want to be respected As a human being, dont live here. Do yourself a favor do not even look these apartments

This apartments use to be nice when i first moved here!They had a nice staff and nice maintenance and the apattments were well taken care of, by that i mean GATES WERE ALWAYS CLOSED, the trash was always picked up and it was just nice. But NOW THIS APARTMENTS SUCK MORE AND MORE EVERYDAY!What bothers me the most is that this area is so pretty, sadly the staff here doesnt care. The gates have been broken for almost 3-6 months and i still dont understand why they cant fix them!Also the staff is so lazy! And yes i am talking about the new staff because this property just got bought by a new company, they have about 2-3 months working here but are worse than the old staff. I went to the office to put in a maintenance request for my bathroom and i took advantage of being there and asked the lady who assisted me about the gates and she just excused her team because they are new (which is about 3 months, 3 months is not new!!!!!!!!)They are just lazy! Then today i called the emergency maintenance because our AC is not working. And i got a call back from Rene who is the Maintenance Supervisor at least thats what he said and he said that it is not an emergency because is not even hot outside and that he cannot work on the AC if it is dark outside! That is seriously the dumbest excuse i have ever heard. Obviously he is just being lazy and didnt want to come over to fix it! Their emergency maintenance line clearly says that broken AC is an emergency and leave a message and they will help! THAT IS A LIE!!!!! Its annoying because they act like we are stupid and dont understand, and like if this is the first apartment complex we have ever lived on! I really think yall should get it together and start working! I am so disappointed in this apartment complex! I really hope they start getting better! I always write reviews on everything, weither they are good or bad, because i believe people should know about the place before they come to it! Also the apartments need a little updating. Specially the appliances!
I had a slightly different experience with the office staff as opposed to general opinion on google reviews. I went in to enquire about a leasing an apartment and their office staff named Bernadette Hyatt helped me through the entire process. She was super helpful and very friendly. She also walked be through the entire online application process as their website wasnt intuitive enough. I have reduced my rating my one star because of another staff named Jason working at this location. I went in again with a follow up question on the apartment I had leased and I was routed to Jason as Bernadette was out that day. Jason was super rude and didnt help me out at all, he could have easily helped me out with the thing I had approached him with but he was too arrogant and snarky. He made some changes in the system and made sure no one else could help me either. So, if you do go in for an enquiry please speak to either Bernadette or Daphne but do not speak to Jason at all.
Nice office space/library in apt, neg:no lights in the bedrm, living rm. no ceiling fans except one in the bedrm with no lights. i still love the place because of location, landscaping and balcony, v old appliances, which means high electric bill in summer and winter and theyll charge you for the blinds too, which i never had to pay in my 15 years of renting. but the rent is affordable compared to other apt in the neighborhood and the place is green and beautiful, neg: they dont have recycling yet which is huge problem for me, i feel guilty for throwing recyclable paper, box, cans :( in trash. i had separate recyclable in all previous apts.
Worst Apartment, by far!! STAY AWAY!!!!!! The staff is extremely rude, unwilling to help in any capacity, and do not care about you, once you have signed your lease. The trash is ALWAYS piled up, and the trash service is a joke. The front gate is broken 90 percent of the time ( no exaggeration ) so the bonus of living in a gated communist is void because the gate is always broken, and left open. parking is very limited, to the point where you have to park so far away that if you have groceries or anything to carry up, it will take you at least 45 minutes to do so, between all of the trips, especially if you have a child. Do yourself a favor, and stay away from this sorry excuse of a business.
