Alonzo arrived to tow my Durango since it would not go into gear. He informed me that it was a safety feature and nothing was wrong with it. No tow was needed and Tommy informed me they were not charging me. They were prompt and awesome! Will definitely use them in the future. You should too!

Faster service then I expected in the freezing rain. Nice way to start my 2020. Cortney(Sorry if spelling wrong) answered the phone and had a tow truck out to me within 30 minutes. The driver who I want to say was named Lance was just above and beyond. Explained everything to me and after the shop looked at it, it was the exact thing Lance told me. Great bunch here! B&R Towing has once again done an outstanding job! I was in a jam and into it with Triple AAA, my car was at there Auto repair shop and needed to be towed to my home. I contacted them directly after Triple AAA was nothing but a hassle and they worked out a plan with me that was efficient and affordable with no issues. This is my third experience with the towing company and second with their auto service! Thank you Tommy!

Wasnt sure where to leave the review because it seems the towing and automotive both have pages. So I am reviewing on this one as well! Because both the towing and shop have been so amazing and helpful!Just wow! I was in such an icky situation this weekend. It was a Sunday late at night and nobody was open! I am talking repairs centers and towing companies. I was in Fox Lake in an abandoned building parking lot. It wasnt dark or scary or anything but it was not fun! I had a flat tire on my BRAND NEW CAR and to my amazement it did not have a spare tire!!?? I couldnt believe it! Shame on me for not realizing that you need to ask for these things these days! Ugh! So I started googling surrounding towns for towing and saw B&R. I called the phone and a sweetheart named Tommy was my dispatcher. I wasnt too sure where I was and after naming some things I passed he knew! He said that they were a bit backed up but that someone could be there within 40 minutes. They came in 20! I wish I remembered the drivers name but to the tall driver with the hat and white truck who came to save me Sunday---THANK YOU! They are not even charging me storage to keep my vehicle at their shop for a few days while I have some other things looked at. As for the repair center- I spoke to the mechanic Ed this morning and they are going to give it a full free inspection and diagnostic! So glad I called B&R!!

Frigid temps - 11:30 pm and I was never so glad to see a tow truck in my life! The driver probably exhausted from a day of chaos caused by slippery roads and extreme temperature - yet Tim was pleasant - patient and concerned for the safety and well being of the driver and passenger and taking extra precautions as to not damage the car in any way - more so then the fact that it was dark - freezing and it was probably what felt like one of the longest days of his life. Kudos to him and the highest accolades - I will highly recommend this towing company to everyone I know and all my coworkers - and just a note - I am employed by a nearby school district and you would not believe how FAST news spreads within these walls. :) Many thanks again TIM

I was stranded dead in the middle of Rollins road in Round Lake Beach. I had so many people just fly by me without helping. I called the B&R Crew and spoke to a man named Tommy. He stayed on the phone with me and was joking around til his truck got there. I felt a lot more calm and they were literally there within 15 minutes. Ill be honest they were the second company I called but their time frame was way shorter and their price was fair and honest. It was a beautiful clean truck that looked and smelled brand new. The driver James that showed up was such a help and explained to me everything that he was doing.

Only tow when its convenient for them would not recommend them. Over priced an under serviced . they write a long story on how good they take care of employees all I wanted was for a car to be towed and you need it now not when its convenient for the. Last night I called AAA due to my car breaking down. AAA contacted B & R for towing services. I was told the tow truck would be at my location in about an hour. My car was in the middle of the road and could not be moved due to a right front wheel issue. After an hour, the cops told me that the car would have to be moved. I called B & R and was told that the truck they were sending to me had to go to Arlington Heights first and then drive to Libertyville to assist me, and had not left for Arlington Heights yet. I was told that it would be at least another hour wait. Needless to say, this was not acceptable to the cops, or to me. The cops called a local towing service who moved the car (which probably was a good thing since now the battery was drained and I was pretty cold.) I am now in the process of obtaining reimbursement from AAA for the $150 I had to pay the towing company that the police called. The service provided by AAA was fine, but the service provided by B & R did not meet AAAs or my expectations. I have reported this to the AAA Resolution Department for their further review. If AAA tells you that they are using this service to tow your car, you may want to take action on your own before waiting as I did.

All I have to say is that Ed and the crew are awesome, helpful and HONEST!!! Which most of us know that is very hard to find in an auto & towing shop. 12 years and counting.... we will ALWAYS choose B&R

B&R Towing went above and beyond in their service yesterday. Not only did they care about the accident victim, but they also tried to help me get rid of the car involved in the accident. I truly appreciate their service.

Called for a tow for my daughters car andthe lady said it would be 15 to 30 minutes before they arrive. An hour passed, so i called back to see if the driver was enroute. Service claimed they had no reference that i had called.

In November, my car died in Gurnee during rush hour in the rain and I was by myself. I called AAA and they sent out a guy from B&R Towing to come and rescue the damsel in distress. He was professional, calm, and took me to the garage I requested in Hainesville. The interior of the tow truck was clean and didnt smell...at all. Within a very short time, the trauma was over and life was good. Thank you B&R Tow guy for providing safety and pleasant conversation.

Do NOT get your car fix with their mechanic Ed. He charged $214/oo for an ignition coil that cost online $19.oo and NAPA $60.00. He charged her $157.00 for the part. The part takes a couple of minutes to install and he charged $43.oo labor. Reporting him to the BBB.

Left me stranded for 2.5 hours after midnight after saying they’d be there “within an hour”. They never did show up, so I arranged someone else so I could get home. They turned their answering machine on and never responded. AAA could not reach them either.

Bad experienced, we called their service to restart and or to tow one of our car, the driver name Eric showed up in the house not nice, & very disrespectful person.
