During the beginning of the pandemic, our governor shut down all gyms for the safety of the people but greedy Alton with only concern for the money in his pocket and not for his members health, went to the local sheriffs office and after a few minutes and a pair of sore knees he was allowed to open his gym. Not cool. The town suffered because of it

I have gone to Altons Gym for over 20 years. I love it, I love the people that work there and play there. I was taking training classes there for 2 years, they have wonderful equipment. I have taken many classes! I absolutely love Yoga there. Altons is a five star gym. I hope to be there if for many more years ☺️

I love Altons Power Block Gym! Been going almost two years and highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay healthy. Very clean, friendly staff and good location.

There are giants roaming this gym, but they are friendly.As a traveling Physical Therapist and performance coach it doesn’t take long for me to judge a gyms set up. Altons has done well. It’s definitely built more like a bodybuilder/strength athlete style gym BUT they have everything you would need as an endurance or alternative athlete as well....Personally I’m an ultra runner and obstacle course racer. The outdoor fitness area, functional equipment, and plenty treadmills are plenty to make me happy!(I would like to see some heavy rubber atlas stones) *wink*wink*

The Gym is always clean. The staff is very friendly and cheerful. My favorite place to be in the morning! Great equipment and great classes! Convenient bar on location has workout supplements! Overall a very nice environment! Awesome place to get in shape!

Stopped by on my way across the country. The staff and space was so amazing I visited three times during my day and a half stay, twice to utilize their weightlifting platforms and outdoor crossfit space and once for yoga. Rare find, great gym.
