Zero customer care. Avoid this place like plague.
I went to the lab today. I was a little nervous going to the lab due to the number of reviews. The nurse was very nice, and did an okay job with the drawing the blood.
They definitely do not close at 5pm. I called and they said they were opened until 5. Drove 30 minutes from Canton. Got there at 4:40 and all lights were off and the door was locked.
This is the worst place in all of Georgia to get your blood work done. We had an appointment and they completely forgot about us as we waited there an hour after the scheduled time. Absolutely no customer service and everything was extremely slow. Even on a day when it wasn’t busy, they took one person back every 30 minutes. Even people without appointments were served before us. I do not recommend this place what so ever and I strongly suggest you avoid if at all possible.
Wonderful receptionists and superb phlebotomists (Chad and Vanessa are my favorites) who walk me through the whole blood drawing process, count to three for the needle, and even tell me to breathe in and out. As a person with anxiety, having people with such amazing bedside manner makes a huge difference! I am also in and out within a matter of 10min with an appointment at anytime of day. As a frequent lab visitor, this is by far my favorite lab!!!
Tried unsuccessfully for a hour to get a human being on the phone. Terrible customer service. I would not use them except for the fact they are the only local option.
Ive been waiting here for over an hour. My doctors made an appointment here and asked me to have my blood drawn. After signing in watched walk-in after walk-in be seen before me. When I was asked why I wasnt being seen I was told to stop being impatient and that Id be the next seen. They just asked to see another patient before me whos been waiting less than 10 minutes. The overweight woman at the desk is very rude and by the looks of it should not be in the medical field, if you know what I mean.
Front desk Toni is incredibly kind, patient, and professional. My phlebotomist Kim was encouraging and pleasant. Minimal wait, exceptional customer service!
Staff here was so polite and helpful. Worked with me on faxing my insurance/using my mobile device for it. Helped everyone with their process that I saw in the waiting. One man was even pushy and rude and they kept smiling and helping him. Complete breath of fresh compared to other labcorps I have been to.
I did not want to go here because of rating I saw online, but it was close by, so I went.Met an angel named Towana who helped me in a health scare. Busy place with lots going on but she treated me like I was the only one there and answered all my questions. So patient and knowledgeable! My veins have always been hard to find, but she got in the first time without any problem. What a relief!!!
This place’s customer service was terrible. Lady at front desk was unnecessarily rude and we had to wait almost an hour for our appointment. I recommend going to another LabCorp location if you can.
I’d like to give -5 to the Rude lady at the front desk!!! I’ve called yesterday to make sure the office got our orders. They did. Then I asked the lady over the phone, should I schedule an appointment for morning? She said you can come in, is the same!We came at 8.20 and have been waiting for 1.30 hour to get in. We have been fasting since day before and waiting there for so long without being able to drink at least water... was not fun!I understand that the staff working here is not getting paid much, but this is not a reason to be rude, isn’t it?
Arrived 15 min early for appointment. Had done all forms ahead online including insurance. Waiting room had 10 people in already for the first appt time frame. Had to still check in again. Then they took 2 people ahead of us who had later appt times. Totally uncool. When i asked they said it was because they arrived earlier and its first come first served. Sorry, what? We had an appt and arrived early! The tech who drew the blood was great.
Had to sit & wait for awhile, but didnt have an appointment. The ladies who work here are extremely polite & friendly. So the wait was ok with me. I see people complaining about the wait time, but if you factor in that you dont have an appointment & there is only two people working. It is what it is. My suggestion is to make an appointment.
Very rude staff. Long wait. The front desk doesnt have an email for emailing in lab work - only a fax machine. Ill never go back.
We went there with our 20 months old baby. We were the second one on the waiting room, we have to wait almost one hour, in the end they couldn’t find a vein but they still trying. Baby crying for 20 min till we told them to stop it.
The Phlebotomists seem great. Mine was very professional, and I barely felt a thing, nor do I have a mark to remember five vials by.The facility and Labcorp process is the primary weight of this rating (Phlebotomists = 5, process and customer experience = 0).I scheduled a 9:15 AM appointment via the web. Labcorp collected all my pertinent plan and personal data, and i received a QR code to use to check in with on arrival. I arrived at 9:25, was told to scan my code in the kiosk, and I sat down. 15 minutes passed before the administrator told another arrival to ALSO sign in on the clipboard at the counter, as their computers were down. I went up and signed in there as well.Close to 10AM, I was called up, and had to provide my license and plan card, since nothing Id previously entered was accessible to this office. They were completely on paper. Thankfully, my doctor had given me a paper form with all my tests on it. I was given my license back and told to sit down.About 10:10, a man and his daughter went up to the counter to see why they had not been called. They had been there over an hour. Their test form was in the computer, and currently inaccessible, and they were told that they would need to have the test form faxed over, or return some other time when the computers were up. One would hope to learn this in the first minute of arrival, not an hour later.I eventually got called in for my test around 10:20. Other than having to print my name and DoB on 5 labels (computers are down), the test were done painlessly, professionally, and with a smile. Phlebotomist = 5.I was getting loopy, having come in fasting, and giving up 5 vials of blood. I went to the front counter to retrieve my health plan ID card, and the administrator was adamant she had given it to me. I searched my pockets and wallet several times while she pointed out that if she had it, it would only be in one of three places in front of her. I asked her to check again, as I did not have it, but she was adamant. Wanting to eat before I passed out, I told her to please shred it when she found it, and left.If you go here, dont plan to be in a hurry, and keep close track of every item exchanged.P.S - I have a compact car, and this facility has the narrowest parking spaces I have seen in the US.
Rude and unprofessional staff
Awful. Just awful. Wait times are horrible even with an appointment. Staff is extremely rude. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
I wouldnt say the facility is run down at all; however, it is very plain (but who goes to doctors offices for the art?). The customer service was not poor, but it was very no-nonsense. The receptionist collected/processed my info and had to get help looking up a code for their computer system, but she wasnt overly friendly or chatty (good, I hate making small talk). I sat down for 7 seconds, and they called me back. The man taking my blood (he was indeed wearing gloves) also made no small talk, he just sat me down and badda-bing badda-boom it was over before I knew it. Why is that so special? Because I have unfindable veins. No lie- Ive had nurses accuse me of being dead. This was the first time in YEARS that Ive had someone find a vein quickly and on the first try-- usually they have to call in the expert nurse whos been sticking people for 87 years or somesuch. So that part made me pretty darn happy :)
Wish I could give zero star
Arrived at 0917 for a 0930 appointment. Checked in and was called up to the receptionist within 10 minutes to verify paperwork. Called back for bloodwork about 1035, done by 1045. Staff was professional and friendly.
This place is a model of inefficiency. Be warned, they discard orders after one week.
Under staffed and poor service. Waited for over 45 minutes for routine blood work. Avoid if possible.
