The prices are good. The quality of the nail polish differ with who does your nails.

These people were very friendly clean and did a good job on my nails. I didnt have to wait. I will recommend people to top nails.

2nd visit, 2nd disappointment. The 1st time I asked for long coffin and had to reshape them myself. Today the foundation was worse then the 1st visit with a different tech. Smh sloppy work from the women thus far. Mediocre pedicure as well… not worth the 50

The man that was doing my nails was watching a movie on his phone while drilling my shellac off hit my finger 😑 made me jump in turn passed him off. I have coffin shaped nails that he turned one into a point because he wasnt paying attention when I asked him to stop he slammed his hands down like it was my fault he didnt know what he was doing. I really wanted to walk out but I was leaving for my trip in less then 4 hours an didnt have time to go anywhere else SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

I give them a star for being very nice people but the service is poor. The prices are RIDICULOUS. They don’t cover my whole nail and do a poor polish job. Also, I have been waiting for hours to get my toes done when I was one of the first people in. Some staff is rude and disregard what you say.

I typically do not come here, they did a good job, But I believe there was NO reason for me to pay $92.00 for a pedicure and a fill in with shellac. I usually pay about $40ish were I normally go. But I thought to go here cus I was right by it. Thus is very sad that you charge this amount. Never will I come back here.

I never leave a review but this is my second time getting bad service. I gave them another shot but no!!! Do Not come here if youre looking for a relax service l. The men are so rough and rude. They have no compassion in service. Your nails will burn because the use a rough drill and the men nail techs are real rough with your hands. They do a half job in your pedicure but charge you for a full service.

They use to be great. But services were not at all long lasting this time.The nail tech literally put like 6 coats of polish. Polish was chipping badly within a week and extremely thick looking.

First off all my hubby and our daughter and I went Saturday service was terrible the man was about to do my pedicure told me what color ididnot see my color he began to get rude 🚶 away then another man came to takeover he did ok but i was overwhelmed any who time for my nails very upset why would you work in an public profession if not professional?but thanks be too GOD he saved myhusband and i lord knows!i suggest everyone due your due diligence we work to hard too to not have great service be bless.

They seemed to be in such a hurry to roll them in..roll em out that they put your feet in water, when water basin filled they removed my feet and did little to nothing. Even grabbed the wrong polish, painted fingers and toes 2 different colors.

Say for a hour and they took someone before me I just walked out they didnt call names on paper

These pics were taken after I pushed back my cuticles that she did not tend to or prep AT ALL, acrylic was all in my cuticle in my middle finger and I had to rip my cuticle off on my middle finger as you can see in the photo, total waste of 25$ she put nail polish remover in the polish Half way threw painting my nails she left me with tips on for 10 minutes while she did atleast 2 other customers eyebrows just extremely rude I could do a better job myself with press ons I will never go back I’ve came here more than once the male employee is FOR SURE better than the women who work just saying if you do need something cheap and quick but if it’s your wedding night or going to a party, do not let this be your last resort there is better out there I promise you i really wanna go back in there and say something but their so unprofessional it’s ridiculous they have their children always hidden away in the back room it’s just a really awkward environment ghetto honestly.

I would give negative stars if possible. We went in for pedicures only, they kept trying to include manicures too, my pedicure was less than 10 minutes from start to finish and not very good. My sons was about two minutes more, without polish. Not my first pedicure, but in a word, pathetic. I would NEVER ago back. They should be ashamed of their lack of service. For 25.00 and what they did, I could have done at home.

2st of all I asked for short nails and was completely ignored.2nd I asked for pink with white tips and he comes putting some neon pink on my nails and I can tell hes rushing. Im not a complainer so I said nothing but if Im paying $100 for nails it should be something I like. So I spoke up and said I didnt like it. The guy got upset and started filing the nails off burning my naul beds and then refused to talk to me. Rude as hell!! I wish I could find some black nail techs. Im tired of this mess.

Pedicure was poorly done . I paid for the deluxe & they didn’t do cuticles, hang nails or really scrub the bottoms of my feet . Also had a fill on my nails and that was also horrible nails misshaped and to much acrylic used . I should they nail tech a picture of what I wanted she said no problem and the end result is nothing like I expected. For what I paid the job was poorly done . I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone!

Yesterday was my first time going to top nails and it was a great experience the man who did my feet was super nice and the lady who did my nails was so sweet! I showed her a picture of how I wanted them and she did it exactly how I wanted it & added so it would look a little different from the picture and I love them! I will return and recommend my people here !

Today was my 1st visit to Top Nails. The minute i walked in the door I was greeted. They were set up properly for Covid safety and everyone was wearing a mask....even the customers. My pedicure was done by a very nice gentleman who scrubbed, rubbed and massaged my feet and legs so good I didnt want to get up from the chair. He was amazing! A young lady waxed my brows beautifully. This is my new spot. 10 out of 10

This place is unprofessional and the employees are rude and hell plus unorganized. Its very unclean business that charges too much money for the quality or their work and environment. In my experience,they need to improve their math skills as well because too many people are quoting the prices, especially the lady who sits up front. Mind your customers or get a list of prices the staff can follow. I will never go back.

Oh what a great nail shop to go to. It was my first time ever going and will definitely be my last. They tried to charge me twice saying and making jokes stating that I didnt have any money on my card then I had to show them where it clearly took the $ 25 off my card and to my surprise I got the nails done last week, 2 nails are missing already the rhinestone came off and everything. Definitely disappointed and maybe for near future they should work on doing good quality work instead of making harsh and mean jokes about theyre customers

Did not clean anything when going on to the next person. Will pick the color they think will look good. They joke around and think things are funny when they mess up and answer their personal phone while doing nails. They also over charge.

I have had my nails done there twice over the summer and I had such a wonderful experience.Today I arrived two hours before they closed but it was very apparent that they wanted to close early to go home. Two of the male nail techs were standing in the window with her arms folded looking very angry.The nail tech became frustrated with me when I would let him know that the drill was hurting or burning my finger. I told him I wanted a very simple specific design (French manicure with red for the holidays). and the end result was very messy and very bulky.The heat was not on and it was uncomfortably cold.There were 4 men working and they were very obvious about their disrespect for each woman that came through the entrance, laughing and making comments in a different language.My nails do not look professionally done at all. There is gel stuck on my fingers and the gel paint over my real nail is mishapen..I will not be returning.

Even in giving this salon 3 stars, I probably will not return.I normally get my nails done at California Nails inside the Macomb Mall, but (due to being closed previously) the salon was booked up with appointments for the next week and a half. I decided to try Top Nails because it was near my house.I was greeted and told that there would be an hour wait; and that I needed to sign in and leave my phone number and someone would call me when it was my turn. I left and returned in 45 minutes, and sat in the waiting area to be called. I took well over an hour. I sat and watched as people were called back for their appointments, but still had to wait a long while to be serviced. I saw that others were being called to be serviced before the people who had already been called back. I saw that people were waiting in their cars to be called back in, and people who just walked in was serviced before them. There was a system in place to service the heavy load of customers, but it definitely didn’t work out sufficiently. I saw that some people were frustrated.A very nice man did my nails, but he did a poor paint job. I knew choosing white polish would be risky because it can be difficult to look evenly layered depending on the brand of polish and how old the polish is, but I also knew that a good manicurist would know how to handle using white polish. Needless to say, my nails looks uneven and clunky. Also, he did not cover my ENTIRE nail with gel, so the area nearest to my cuticles isn’t covered in polish. Because of this, it would appear that I have have my nails done already and they are starting to grow out. He didn’t even clean the edges of excess polish on the sides. I honestly could have done a better paint job myself.On to my pedicure. A woman told me to put my feet in water that was luke warm at best. She dropped a blue tablet in and then walked away and went to service another client who had been waiting a while. I sat there for at least 35 minutes waiting for her to return; only to get a smile and wave from someone who told me that someone would be with me soon. Then, a man began doing my pedicure. He asked if I wanted a deluxe pedicure, in which he would apply what looked like a sugar scrub to my feet, and that it would be $10 extra. That’s when I realized that I had already paid a total of $65.00 for a full set and pedicure; of course the scrub was already included I that price, right? No! It was not! How on earth do I pay that much money for a full set and pedicure and I don’t get the foot scrub included? I had never heard of such a thing! I’ve received a foot scrub with a regular pedicure in the past at other salons. At this point I was tired and so ready to go home that I just sat through it - minus the scrub. I had had a rough day looking for nail salons that was accepting walk-ins - that wouldn’t take 3 to 6 hours to be serviced. I thought their claimed, “one hour” wait was a good deal, so I just remained hopeful... too defeated to ask them to redo the paint job.My original sign in time was 11:35a - I left at a little after 3p. It was not worth the wait. I gave them 3 stars for being nice people, but I will not return.

They do great pedicures and I love how they able to tell you the price ahead of time them really care for my nail artist but other than that very clean very friendly very affordable and it was very hard to find a place that would take my daughter she was able to get a pedicure and a manicure at 8 years old

Love it! I have been going to this nail salon for 5+ years! Family owned, greets you when you come in and not pricey. I always go to Johnny for my nails. Any styles that I get he can do them! Never has let me down. Best to go on weekends, weekends can be crowded.

I usually don’t have any problems when I come. I always come during the week, or early Saturday never have to wait. I prefer the men to do my nails here instead of the women. They don’t seem to know what they are doing, or take the extra time to “care” for your nails.

Jon always does a wonderful job, I dont care what anyone says about this place. He is the reason I come back. And their prices are very reasonable. Its obviously going to be extra if you want extra.

Id give it no stars. This place is terrible. One of the guys was a jerk. Hes an old ugly man with a hat. The way he poked and snatched on my hand is worthy of an assault charge. When I asked him to be more gentle he yelled NO! When I returned and reported him, they refused to give me a refund. They tried to make me come back and get my nails redone. NO WAY! Never go to this place.

You dont feel welcome coming here. Everything always feels rushed and incomplete. Nails break off a couple days after you get them done then when you come back they still charge you to fix it. Not to mention they reuse all their tools on multiple people including pedicure tools. I got a nail fungus here and never been back.

They changed the price when I got there because I called first and was told one price the acrylic wasnt completely dry before he started filing and it started to lift, lm a nail tech as well and I watched this person give me the most rushed unprofessional fill-in ever and after he was finished he simply got up and walked away! No words, never will I come here again

The older guy that’s sits in the very first station by the door is rude and extremely rough. If he doesn’t like his job or to communicate with people he should do something else. I’m a heavy tipper his attitude so nasty I barely want to pay for his service. I love top nails been coming here for 7 yrs now and they always do a great job plus they do dipping powders.

Walked in for the first time today, though I had been eyeing this place as my back up shop for a while. It smelled heavily of fish or just general nast, no one said hi, and there was no sign in sheet to be found anywhere. I looked at a few polishes to diffuse the awkwardness, but it was way to unorganized to even consider settling on one of them and trying to make this shop work. So, I walked back out. At least now I can cross this one off the list of potential new or back-up shops.

I love this place. The other reviews are correct...one of Detroits best kept secrets. The staff is VERY professional & also VERY knowledgeable/skilled in their craft. I will go here every single time.

Needless to say my 23 gel set turned into 37 and now have to remove the uv polish... Never again

Shady scammers. Got gel fill ins and he charged me $5 extra saying its uv gel. Saying the price listed doesnt include the gel coat and light. I have NEVER gotten a gel fill in without curing the powder. That doesnt even make sense. It was not anything different than Ive been getting for years. He also charged me $2 for a cut down with fill ins. Seriously? My $35 special turned into $42 of him making stuff up. Funny I didnt pay the extra $5 when i got them done the first time. He didnt mention anything about extra price cause he knows he is scamming. If you want to pay more than the listed price then go here.

I gave this place two stars due to the fact the man who did my mani/pedi was rude and too rough. First off, when I walked in there were no price signs anywhere. I asked this man three different times what would be the price for what I wanted which was a full set and a regular pedicure. Secondly, he had an attitude because I could not understand what he was saying due to him speaking low and mumbling. Last, he tried to push me into getting gel when I wanted acrylic. He never told me the price until after he swiped my card!!! He takes my card and swipes it then brings it back and says $60.00!!! Seriously? Spoke to the manager Tee who stated it was $60.00 because I got shellac and acrylic. Never in my life have I ever paid $60.00 for a mani/pedi...and never again will I. The only reason they got two stars is because my nails and toes never peeled. They should be called Top Rip Off...RS
