They never shapped my nails and charged me the same price for almond shape… I wish I didn’t go there the old lady came and told the guy who was doing my nails to charge me that price when I asked her are u charging me I didn’t get almond she said yeah honey that’s how much it cost….. I will never give another dime to them

I get regular pedis from another salon as I don’t live in the area, I’ve never had any type of issues with my toes until I came here on Saturday. The tech Ann said she “cut out fungus” from my big toe. Since then my toe has been throbbing and painful. Looking online it shows that the pain is likely due to being cut too short :(. I sure hope it’s not ingrown or infected. Before coming here I had no issues and my nails were neatly trimmed straight across Now one side is rounded and painful :(

The employees were very friendly! My calloused outdoor garden loving feet are now very soft. We did not have a reservation, we simply shopped in the mall until they could fit us in. I highly recommend them!

I booked an appointment for specific services.once I got there, I was told to come back in 30 minutes which was fine. Until I came back and then was told they cannot perform the services I requested and was only able to get a gel fill. I then proceed to schedule the rest of the requested services for another day. Which I was told an excuse so I would not come. Then I tried to schedule for the following day. Again, I was denied services. With no valid reason why Icould not get tended to. I just took the hint that I was not welcomed there. I turned to notice that the excuse why I couldnt receive certain services was a lie, because the same services were being performed on another customer who came after me. I was feeling out of place and unwelcomed. Be careful out there. They seem to be profiling based off ethnicity and status. I will be filing a racial complaint with the BBB. Thanks for nothing.

We had appointments for pedicures, showed up right on time and had to wait 20 minutes. I don’t know what the point of making a reservation is when we were made to wait anyway. It looks like a 3 year old did my nails. I sat through 3 drying sessions and when I put on my sandals the polish just melted off. Prior to this it chipped and the lady tried to fix my nail with the wrong color so it looked horrible. On top of that she tried to charge my husband 3 times for two pedicures. AND they overcharged us when it clearly started their prices right up on the wall, we told them that they were charging us the wrong amount and they didn’t fix it.

Dont waste your money. TERRIBLE WORK.Gel chiped before I could leave the mall, and 3 nails broke off the next day.

If I could give it -5 stars, I would. Truthfully, there are a select few people here that do an amazing job, but my last experience here is not worth ever risking it. I asked for a gel manicure. The person did an AWFUL job at even just a simple manicure, but things got even worse when they started to actually paint my nails. I ended up with gel polish ALL OVER MY FINGERS. I am not kidding you, I even had polish UNDERNEATH my nail... like they had painted over the top of my nail onto my skin a bit and then just tried to file it off, but instead just pushed all the polish under my nail. Not only that, but throughout the process, I had to point out to the manicurist that there were small hairs stuck to the wet polish on my nails and I eventually had to take hair off myself before they forced my hand under the UV light. After was all said and done, the result was TERRIBLE. I am not generally one to complain, but honestly this was TERRIBLE (again, there was gel polish all over my fingers and under my nail beds) and the result was completely unacceptable. I told the manicurist that I would like someone else to try to fix them for me. They grabbed my hands and started trying to do it themself and I again insisted that someone else do it. He got up and spoke in another language to a coworker then came back and started stripping my nails of the gel polish that he just put on my fingers (I assumed someone else was just going to redo them). He scraped and scraped and it HURT. For the polish on my skin around my fingers, he attempted to use a file which essentially just filed my skin down. He honestly ruined my nails. I flinched multiple times in pain from how hard he was scraping, but I sat through it assuming someone else was going to fix them after. When he finished, he just stopped and sat there. I asked who was going to fix my nails and he said “no, we don’t do that”. I was taken aback and said “wait what?” And he said “no, we don’t do that” again. Then the coworker he spoke earlier said from across the room “no thank you, bye!”. I was absolutely appalled. I left the store immediately, obviously EXTREMELY frustrated that I just wasted my time and had my nails butchered from these people. I was already having a bad day and wanted to do something to relax... but nope. My experience was awful. I sobbed in my car before I could even drive home. I attached a picture to show what my nails looked like when I left the store (you can even see some polish still under my nails because he couldn’t get it off).It would be one thing to do a poor job and then fix it, but to not even offer to fix their mistake is where I draw the line. I will not be returning here and if you’re reading this, I suggest you don’t either.

I have never had anything but great experiences at LA Nails! The staff is amazing. My sister and I get our nails done here because it’s conveniently close by, but we’ve stuck around because of the kindness shown by the staff. They gave us holiday gifts in December, gave me cold medicine when I wasn’t feeling well, and fixed my chipped nail for free even though I got them done by a friend and not their salon. They always take time to converse with us and get to know us. They are so sweet. Just wonderful! Highly recommend.

If you are a middle schooler, maybe this place works. If you are a self respecting adult, it wont. Nails are uneven, not even 5 hours in and one cracked, the gal who did my nails was impatient, and they were rude about my shoes while I was paying them. For gel or acrylic, find somewhere else; I wont retirn.

Stopped in for a gel french tip manicure in preparation for an interview. Was welcomed with a big smile and seated right away. They all kept me great company and the woman doing my nails was really careful and gentle on my hands. By far the best nail experience Ive had in a long while and they look fantastic! Its unusual that I go out of my way to review, but has to with these ladies! :)

I have been coming here for a few years. The staff are so friendly and can always fit you in. Call ahead for appointment due to COVID-19. I call from home and just drive in and they are ready. VERY Prepared and clean. Friendly staff who remember you and treat you well. If you arent satisfied, they will fix it right away. I have always appreciated their service!

So I really don’t go around reviewing places poorly, but I have to let y’all know not to go here.I came in for this $37 manicure and three cuticles ended up bleeding. She forgot the top coat on one hand and when I told her she missed it, she said no and shooed me out the door. I went back later to get it looked at and she “fixed” it, but missed an entire edge of two nails. The gel is chipping off already (four days later) and I am just generally very unhappy with how these ended up.

You can find better place and don’t waste your money.Gel chiped before I came to home and 3 nails broke off the next day.

Called and scheduled an appointment to get a full set with dip powder when arrived they said that the person that does dip powder was not in when she said they were she insisted on doing gel so I did It took 2 hours to get a full set no design nothing not to mention that the nails are all uneven. I have been coming here for over 20 years... They must be doing something right. I enjoy the down time and they do a good job on my nails. My 8 year old Grandchildren tell me what color to choose and I can always find it (even the odd tone from my grandson ;). Ann gives the best hand massage after my manicure ... heaven.

Ive been having my nails done at L.A. Nails for many years. Each person on staff is patient, kind and skilled. I also learned that Ann has greater skills than my own doctor with nail healing. Ive experienced a medical condition where the nail can separate from the nail bed. After I paid dearly for doctors to help treat the condition, it was only Ann who had the experience and skills to do so! She knew exactly how to clean the nail bed and trim the nail so that my nail healed! Her skill, care and vigilance have been over and above! She doesnt just make my nails look beautiful--she cares about their physical health. I recommend her and the staff at L.A. Nails highly!

I didn’t get the name of the gentleman that did my gel fill and color change today but I should have! I was a bit leery after reading a few of the negative reviews online but my concerns were completely unwarranted. He did a phenomenal job! The tech that helped me was gentle, thorough, polite and just overall fantastic. I will be back!!

If youre ever at Rosedale mall and decide to get your nails done on a whim.. DO NOT GO TO LA NAILS. This is a fill my mom got today. Took them 2 HOURS, and they charged her $60 for this disaster.They stated after I complained and demanded a discount or full refund for it, that since she had ombre pink and white before, that the regular wouldnt come out perfect.Hmm.. Interesting how that comes up AFTER the fact. My mom even said at the beginning when the tech seemed frustrated for switching styles, that she could stick with ombre and she said no, that it was fine.My mom is literally the nicest person you will ever meet so she paid and walked out knowing she would have to go elsewhere, and pay the same thing over to get them fixed.When I went back and was talking with management she insinuated that we should have known it would look different, that there was nothing they could have done differently. I replied with the fact that we are not the professionals and should have been notified that it would be such a color difference in the pinks, that the old nail would be so yellow and that the bubbles from the old nails lifting, because that wasnt corrected either, would be so prominent. If she would have known, she would have stuck with the previous style or gotten a full set!After the fact they ended up refunding $10, and my poor mom, has to go somewhere else to get them fixed and pay even more for their mistakes.On top of it all, they were all extremely rude and defensive. How can you look at this and think its $60 work?!I wish I could post a picture of how awful this fill is.

If you have a short wait, there’s always shopping to do.They have recently upgraded to new massage chairs and they are wonderful and relaxing. I go here all the time to get fake nails done. Everyone who works here is really sweet and kind, and they do a great job every time. My nails always look beautiful.Recently, while i was getting my nails done, a lady came in who was acting really mean and entitled. She was yelling at the employees about everything. She thought it was taking too long (fake nails take a long time, if you want them to look good. The people here take their time to make beautiful nails.) The employees were extremely patient with her, even as she continued to be extremely rude to them! Theyre very kind people! Thats why I always go back here every time.

Ive been going to Ann for over a year. She does a very nice job, my nails look great and I rarely have to wait. Everyone at LA Nails is very pleasant and I can tell the other regular clients enjoy visiting with the technicians and appreciate the excellent customer service.

I have been coming to LA Nails for 14 years. The staff are friendly, professional, and always do a fantastic job on my nails. Ive had acrylics, pedicures, gel polish, and dip done here, all done well consistently. I even continued to come here on vacations when I was living out of state for several years and bring my mom and grandma with me to get their nails done with they visit from out of state. I have been to a lot of nail salons in my life and LA Nails is by far the best service for the price Ive been to. Not only do I come here for the great service, I come for the great people. I went in this place trusting them as professionals. Once strong nails are now thin and fragile.A “professional” worker ruined my nails! She was using the electric nail drill and basically drilled out my entire natural nail until they were thin and flimsy!!Ruined my nails to the point where when I press down on my nails using a small amount of pressure they hurt!I was so worried about my nails chipping I went to target to buy some nail oils, nail clippers to clip them before they chip but when I closed my car door my nail chipped!I was crying and had to clip my nails so low to match the nail that clipped and do my best to make them look presentable because they look horrific.Please do not go here if you love your nails!

Service was decent, nothing special but nothing to complain about. I went with a friend & they did her whole gel manicure before starting mine so it did take a bit of time, but we weren’t in a rush so it was okay. The lady that did my gel manicure put at least 4 LAYERS OF POLISH ON when it really only needed 2 causing them to be extremely thick and tacky looking. When I came home & showed my mom her first reaction was “well..... they look a little.. thick” (lol) but not a hugeeee deal at this point I guess.The main problem that I had was that they only lasted about 4-5 days before they started to peel off on the sides. Typically gel nails are supposed to last at least 2 weeks but I can usually stretch them out to upwards of 4 weeks. I had never had a gel manicure come off even close to this quick. During these 4-5 days I wasn’t doing anything that would make them begin to peel, I think they were just too thick to stay on my nails.My experience wasn’t horrible but for the approx. $40 I spent on my gel manicure for it to last less than a week, it just wasn’t worth it at all. I will not be returning.

I had the worst pedicure I’ve ever received in my life at this place. 😯 OMG it’s totally shocking! I’m astonished how terrible it is!The location is great. I just had my eyebrows done at Brow Studio 7 and then came over here and it was terrible! Just terrible, the tools appeared to be very worn and dirty and I believe the woman who did the pedicure perhaps had arthritis or something it was awful. So badI decided not to get it painted, the best thing I can do is leave so I can go to a better place and get my feet done from a professional nail shop

I have been going to this LA Nails for over 15 years. I see Cindy almost every time. She is the BEST! She is so gentle and careful and THOROUGH with what she does. She takes so much care! I used to get acrylic nails, but developed an allergy, so she switched me to gel nails. After about 5 years, I started to develop an allergy to that, too. She helped me grow back my natural nails, which genetically will never be perfect, but are so much better now. Then the invention of the gel polish came along. After a few months, I also developed an allergy to THAT! I am still recovering from the effects of the allergic reactions, but she is getting my fingers and toes back in shape and is so attentive to the regrowing of one of the worst hit toe nails. I will never go to anyone else. Cindy is AMAZING!

$68 for trash coffin nails. Spent a total of almost $200 for my gel acrylics, a friends gel manicure, and two pedicures for her bday. We booked our appointment together but yet they separated us even though there was room where we could be seated together.. The guy who helped me seemed kinda rude, constantly sighing and yanking on my arm, wasnt gentle at all. They over filed my natural nails and REUSED foot scrubbers. I asked for a new one and was told no. Thats unsanitary and disgusting. Not coming back. The whole time I just wanted to leave.EDIT: literally two days later and 3 nails have already chipped on their own.

Nicely decorated and friendly enough staff. However, when they are busy the quality of their work is severely impacted. My daughter asked the older gentleman kindly to even out the length of her nails, as one hand was noticeably longer than the other. He did file them some however as he completed his work they were still very much uneven. We will not go back to this salon, the decor is not work the less than average work they put out.

Did a horrible job for the amount I paid I did not get that service done to me. She was more worried about everyone but her client (Me) charged my daughter for a service she did not get, the gel was horrible she did not scrub my feet as according or use the product ts as shown just horrible never will I go again!!!

I came in with a friend 6 days ago for a simple set of acrylics, and my friend needed a new set. We started at the same time and it took them almost 2 full hours to do our nails. We were charged $60 each. After leaving the salon and getting to dinner, I noticed small bubbles forming on one of my nails, my friend’s entire set was extremely streaky and her fingers were raw from so much filing. Now it looks like I’ve been in need of a fill for weeks, 3 of my nails are falling off and the polish is even pealing off of most of them. I will never be going back here

The ladies and gentlemen working here are so nice and exceptionally hard working. The way they spoke with me and my sister was like we were regulars when it was just our first time. I keep coming back here for my nails even if it is a 30min drive now. I honestly think all the bad reviews are from Karens and boomers nitpicking everything. Treat them with respect and you get respect back.

Ive had a few awful experiences trying to find a decent nail salon and being new to those whole nail scene. But this was probably the first place I went to and walked out satisfied. Would definitely recommend Heidi, she did a perfect job!

Overall so-so service. Hard to communicate with the person doing my nails, and therefore having my nails end up terrible. The nice thing however was that I had come in pretty late and they still accepted me to get my nails done. That’s the only thing that was actually good.#2 I got gel nails and the minute I got home my nails immediately started peeling off. The next 3 days they were all gone. I had deliberately asked her to do a sheer color that wouldn’t have that much hold on my nails and she still did. Not the best, but I guess it was on me for comin in late, but kinda a waste of my money. 😶

I had a great experience with Cindy last Saturday. I came in with nails poorly made by a different nails salon, she took of the nails and re-did my whole mani cure. She free hand made my nails have a ombré effect with gel polish and made sure that they were to my liking. There the exact color shape and length I wanted.

I made an appointment for three people. Two full sets & one pedi. When we got there, one of my daughters was ignored and moved stations three times, they looked at my nails and said they could do a dip faster than a pedicure - so I agreed. My other daughter was not asked about size or shape and was very unsatisfied with the results. I ended up cancelling and doing neither a dip or a pedicure. Terrible organization/communication. I did appreciate the small gift they gave me as consolation. 🤷‍♀️

I took my child here for a fun girls date and the lady that was working on my daughter was very rude to her. She twisted my daughter toe my daughter kept saying outoutout I ask her what happened and she proceeded to tell me that the lady was twisting her toe. I said something to the woman and it happened once more, and I gave the woman a piece of my mind, you DO NOT! treat anyone that way especially children, especially MY children! Im so good on going here again!

My sister was getting her nails done and I was added in last minute and the lady doing my nails was complaining to me the whole time about me being added in. There wasnt even anybody waiting to get theirs done so I dont know why she was mad. Also, I got gels for vacation and they peeled off a week later!

I have been going to LA Nails for several months. I prefer to NOT make an appointment but often call ahead or arrange to run my mall errands first, if they are really busy. Seldom have to wait😊. I have had great gel mani/pedi’s from all but most often Ann. I’ve seen several stop in with a problem from another salon and they do their best to help out.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Worst freaking place Ive ever been to in the last 10 years. I left with every single one of my fingers bleeding. Their pink and white, its not powder like it should be (thats how I been getting my nails the last 5 years). Went back to get a new set because they dont do refunds. Well, wouldnt give me a new set without me getting upset because it takes too long, and I told them theyre right cause I didnt want to spend another minute longer there. So I did gel color. And this lady still PULLED my cuticles under my nails even while I was yelling in pain and trying to pull my hand back! Especially after I complained about the last guy and kept telling her to be careful! So yes, I bled more. Left there so mad and upset. Ill never go back. They dont know what the f they are doing.

I love this place. I went on a whim one day and I had lost one of my toe nails and only had half of one there. The lady that took care of me made an acrylic one and gave me the best pedicure (I hadnt had very many to compare but still) I felt like in was walking on air. The massage was amazing, my feet felt so soft and looked beautiful. I recently went to a different salon trying to avoid the language barrier and was so disappointed. They didnt even do acrylics there and I ended up paying almost twice the amount for a pedicure that wasnt even close to the one I got here. My feet still felt tired and achey, my nails didnt look any better... I learned the hard way, Ill deal with the language barrier and get an excellent pedicure at a reasonable price instead of going anywhere else. I love this place. ❤️

I have been coming here for almost 10 years and have tried multiple other locations. This location is so easy and convenient (its in the Rosedale Mall). The manager of this location is FABULOUS!! She will do almost anything to make sure that you are satisfied with your manicure/pedicure, even going so far as to fix chips/imperfections if you accidentally chip or touch the wet polish. They just got new pedi chairs which are very nice as well. I would suggest this place because they do their level-best to get the clients into see a nail tech in a timely manner and are very flexibile and easy to work with when it comes to anything. Ive been to expensive places in the West metro area and not come anywhere close to this customer service or quality of work. KEEP UP THE FANTASTIC WORK!

I came here because it was the only place still open after I got off a late night at the office. I was hesitant because there were quite a few bad reviews, but I was on a time crunch and needed a gel manicure. I LOVED IT. The staff was great (and they spoke perfect English so you can enjoy a conversation with them). An older gentleman did my manicure and he paid attention to every single detail. Before putting each coat in the dryer, he tilted every nail under the light to make sure he got every edge but didnt get it on my skin. My friend got a pedicure by a younger woman as well and it was just as fantastic. They even stayed 20 minutes after closing to make sure her toenail polish dried. We both agree that we will be coming back here again soon!
