This place is not a barbershop. They dont do anything a real barber does. No straight edge razor fades, no hairline lineups, nothing that youd find typical in a real barbershop. The place is clean and appealing however, I find it fake that the name of the place has the word barbershop in it. Their fees do not match what you receive. They charge $45 for haircuts. Why would you pay that when you can get the same thing at sports clips for half? I Highly recommend you pass if you are looking for an actual barbershop 💈.

Absolutely worth it. Gabriel did a wonderful job with my 7 month old for his first hair cut. Made it a perfect experience. We will be returning when its time for the next cut.Shop was clean and well kept

Cant say enough great things about this place. Dustin cuts my son and my hair and always does a fantastic job. Mary Jane does a phenomenal job working with our nonverbal special needs 8yr old son and was the first person to ever successfully cut his hair. Always a great environment, our entire family wont go anywhere else.

For over the last year I’ve been going to this shop and getting the cleaned up Josh. He is great at what he does and take passion in making sure you get what you want. I typically go in looking like a caveman and come out looking like a gentlemen. He is good with beards of all different lengths and shapes and does a fantastic job of listening to what I want for a hairstyle each time, I started taking my 5 y/o here and he does a great job with him as well. I come from West Sacramento just to get a fade from this place! By far well worth the drive! Everyone there is the best at what they do. Complimentary beer while getting a cut is great too. The place is always clean and has great atmosphere. Huge tv’s, clean bathroom, great music, and amazing prices! I highly recommend this place wherever you are. Ive been coming to this barbershop for the last 5-6 months and have always left extremely happy. The location is a little bit tucked back, facing away from the street. The shop is very clean and well put together. I always request Joshua; he is very detailed in what he does and takes his time to make sure that Im overly satisfied with my haircut. I have been going to mugshots since they opened, and I have had the most consistent and best haircuts of my life there. The staff are super friendly and nice, and the haircut, while not only being great looking, is also a great and relaxing experience to have.

Have been getting my mug trimmed by Ian for years and even after moving to San Diego I always make it a point to come in for a trim by Ian whenever I’m in town. Fairly priced and the highest quality. They also have a large selection of high quality hair and grooming products as well as tons of information and opinions to give on hair care. New to the area and havent found a barbershop I like. Based on reviews decided to drop in. Had a good experience the first time and decided to come back. Ended up with a different barber the second time, Darin, which turned out to be hands down one of the best haircuts Ive ever received. Very meticulous, spent ample time making sure it was styled right, explained what he was doing as he went.Couldnt be happier, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Have been coming to Mugshot for about 6 months now. Great old school barbering in a updated shop. Prices are good and cuts, beard shaping, and straight razor shaves are legit.My son and I see Ian at the shop. But all of the barbers do great work and are always booked! So make an appointment if you’re going to try it out.You can also grab a complimentary beer while you wait. The place is classy but still traditional as well. Right next to BJ’s restaurant in Roseville.

Stylists have told me I have difficult hair to cut. On her first shot at it, Marri gave me the best cut Ive had in the past 5 years.If youre looking for a fancy place, this isnt it. But they do a good job with hair.

Was sick of taking my toddler to the kiddie salons and not getting a good haircut- because they werent patient and/or couldnt handle his fear of it.Decided to try this barbershop and I am so glad I did! Marri Jane was so patient with him! It was the first time he sat decently well for someone. The second time we went, he even let her use the clippers, which was a huge step.Convinced my hubby to give them a try. He went today and had Josh as his barber. He was RAVING about the experience. He hasnt been to a barbershop since middle school and didnt really know what he wanted. Josh talked with him and just knew what to do. My hubby has never had a haircut look so good on him!Everyone is so nice, and theres complementary beer for those that want some. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Awesome place!! i am very picky when it comes to getting my hair cut! All the Barbers & staff that work there are awesome people! I personally use Ian, i followed him from his last shop to here and will only go to him but i have see the other barbers work and would suggest anyone to go in there and get a cut from any one of them! They take super good care of you, really clean & comfortable place. Hands down the best shop in the greater Sac/Roseville area. They also sell some AWESOME! hair product.

Dustin is awesome. He listens to what I want, offers his expertise on how to make it happen, and then always delivers a great cut... And theres beer on tap, so theres that.Pro tip: If youve never gotten a blade shave, ask for one here. Highly recommend.

Very professional staff who seem to love what they do. I’ve been twice and my haircut was great each time. Even for a busy Friday without an appointment, I was in the chair within 10min. But appointments are strongly recommended as they have been getting more popular.

I went in the shop just expecting a basic/good haircut, and boy was I wrong... When I walked out of the shop there was atleast 4 women staring at me, biting their lips, and looking me up and down as I walked to my car. Thats how good this barber shop is. The haircut will get women for you!!!They treated me like a king, gave me a beer (free) and the price was very reasonable. They have excellent customer service.

No point in making an appointment since they dont seem to care. Walked in and was asked if I had an appointment. I said yes and that was all I heard from them for the next ten minutes.
