Woke up with no a/c, called their office after reading their reviews. Very professional person answered, took basic information and was able to schedule an appointment a few hours from my call. Their office called ahead to let me know when the technician was on the way. Ron came out and got right to work diagnosing the problem. Found the issue and repaired it on the spot. Prices were very reasonable and the service was top notch. A/C service was restored before the house even heated up. Thank you very much!!!

Weve used Howell Services several times over the years. From installing new water lines and sewer repairs in our late 1960s farm house. Recently our 15+ year old A/C system decided to quit. Ron came out after hours and tried his best to keep it running until we could get it replaced. He was able to quickly provide us with multiple options on new systems and which would be best for our type of house and layout. He was very knowledgeable on this.Turns out we were the guinea pigs for a new Comfort Sync A3 thermostat that is fresh of the market and I can say that so far we couldnt be happier. Not to mention paring this new system with new spray insulation in the attic (that was much needed) we can really tell the difference in the new system and the old system.

The whole staff was great. We had a serious sewer line issue that involved digging up some pipe and fittings. Ron and his staff did an awesome job getting us fixed up in a very reasonable amount of time. We will definitely make them our go-to company for all of our plumbing needs for our home and business.

Melissa promptly returned my call first thing Monday morning. Keith came out that afternoon. He was even able to come earlier than originally scheduled which made me very happy. He was courteous, professional, prompt and thorough. He was able to do the repair in the same trip and left the site extremely clean. Great company and great guy!

Howell services fixed my pluming issue quickly! We had a toilet that was leaking water costing me a fortune and I did know it, the Tech zoned in on the issue and took care of it fast. After our finding our water heater leaking, Howell Services came quickly in fact they beat me home and were waiting for me. Within a couple of days they replaced our water heater with a new more efficient one. They were on time, professional, quick! They even called a week later to see how everything was going. We noticed our hot water was luke warm so I called Howell Services. We have used them on AC repairs and plumbing problems in the past, and their work has always been top notch. Jason arrived as scheduled, and quickly diagnosed the problem as a clogged burner. Jason cleaned the burner, and then checked the other hot water heater to be sure it did not have the same problem. Job well done Jason!! Howell provides quality service at a fair price so we know who we will call again for problems in the future.

So I had a leak under the cabinets that are under my sink. They had to come out twice because of my water well not working. He arrived on time the second time but my husband worked late so he got the water well running again and fixed the problem under the cabinets....very polite, very professional and super helpful. He went above and beyond and I will definitely recommend and use Howell Plumbing services again!

The owner, Ron, came out to our home the Wednesday before Thursday when our furnace went out. He visited with us and gave a comprehensive and easy to understand proposal. We scheduled service quickly after his visit.They came out days later and installed our brand new furnace. A few weeks later we had a small electrical issue that I called Ron about- realizing it was their mistake, we had a service man out in less than 2 hours to correct the issue.Ron was very professional and his team is extremely friendly and helpful. Howell installed my new AC unit and my electric bill was cut in half. I have renewed my maintenance agreement with Howell for four years. I have also started using their other services.

My water heater went out on a Tuesday, called Howell the same day. They guaranteed water heater replacement for Thursday for $1800.11. The technician Jason arrived and could not give me an itemized list of the job. No problem. I called the office and spoke with Julie. She transferred me to Melissa’s husband (Melissa is out taking care of a sick child, everyone made sure that I knew that, multiple times). The husband whose name I do not remember, would not give me an itemized list. When I asked, he replied “were you not given the price already?” Me, “well yes but I would like to know the price of the water heater”.He sounded irritated and stated he would have to research that and call me back.Meanwhile I called two different repair companies and got significantly lower estimates to replace a 50-gal water heater in the garage.The husband called me back, with arrogance in his tone no less stating “ $850 for the water heater, $55 for hoses, and then we have to keep the lights on, I have to pay my employees...” VERY CONDESCENDING.Bottom line! If a company will not give an itemized list AND gets defensive about it, THEN WATCH OUT.By this time, Jason the technician had somewhat finished draining my water heater. No one could quote me for the work he had already done. I gave Jason a $100 bill. And said I need the charges Becuase if I need to pay more then I will, but if I am OWED money then I want my change.Jason left, my house is still disconnected from the water. I called Howell in regards to this. In response, Jason called me and threw it in my face that “you said you were going to have someone else come out”.Grant it, I did say that. It does not mean to leave your job incomplete and to leave a family with NO WATER.I asked about the $100. No list of charges. Now they say it’s just me. Which yes, but in the end they did not leave the job site as it was before they came.I have never had this issue with Howell, EVER. Maybe Becuase Melissa is not there. Either way, bad business practice and customer service.Ask questions and ask for an itemized list. ALWAYS.I received no charge sheet or receipt.

Our A/C at our retail store (SugarLandPC) went out recently. Its a 20 year old unit with hard to find parts. Howell Services found the fan motor and got us back up again. It is now nice and chilly in here again. We have lots of computers here and really rely on our A/C to keep them from over heating. We have used Howell before and will use them again.
