It’s a gym that’s run by a bunch of little kids that are on steroids. “Trainers” thinking they could run that place when in reality they don’t even know what their doing. Their Personal Trainer Director Sherrie V that needs to fix her teeth instead of spending money on horrible tattoos. And Salesmen’s Saier Wang that dates most of the woman in Kidz Club telling them to not say anything. Both managers love to suspend peoples membership in front of everyone to see so management can feed off their traumatized experience. Just because I exploded them with a bunch of facts that they couldn’t even talk to me about it personally. Instead they just laughed in front of everyone to see in order to get a reaction. Of course Mona is the worst out of all of them. Nasty attitude. I wouldn’t really recommend anyone this American Horror Story gym, the atmosphere was good until they changed staff.

Somebody posted a Lady at the front desk with curly hair is rude, I think the curly haired is the member service manager Mona A, shes a really rude and unprofessional, a dark spirit . I never see her smile. Sometime see her sat in front not sure shes working there or just frustrated herself. Mona A should be replaced with a member friendlier person, whos willing and happy to help members. Shes not a fit! Member service manager is a big role in a service based business. Is LA Fitness corporation leader know about these kind of low life working at club??

Customer service at this location is really low and unacceptable! In particularly a member service manager named Mona A (she never wear her name tag and refuses to give her name to guests when asked), Mona is a very abusive, act as shes the owner of the club, dictating people around and treating members with discriminating, insulting way that I have never experienced in any health club, including other LA Fitness location. This individual is ruining the reputation of LA Fitness, as well as the well being of LA Fitnesss members. Im not sure how many others have experienced abuse from this low class want to be sick manager, she need to be removed as soon as possible.

LA Fitness offers many amenities at a great price. Gym amenities can include state-of-the-art equipment, basketball, group fitness classes, pool, saunas, Kids Klub, personal training and more. Amazing staff, great people and the overall atmosphere is fantastic.

A bit weird the day i come back after a year of not going to the gym because of Covid, a dude decides to use the treadmill next to me despite ALL the other treadmills not being used

Awesome club, got a great workout, lots of space, lots of machines. It gets a little packed mid afternoon but in all is a good gym.

Wow. Unbelievably bad. Ive been to LA Fitness locations in NY, FL, GA, LA and this one hands down is the WORST for weightlifting! No one re-racks their weights, the staff are no where to be found near the weight rooms helping restack the weights in their proper order! Every time I am lifting I am looking for the actual weights Im trying to get. Moreover they have no clamps that attach to the side of weights to ensure safety!! Are you kidding? Someone is going to drop the weights on themselves and sue this place! Last but not least, All the attachments to the cable pulleys are gone! Tricept rope push down? No rope. Cable curl? No handles. Close grip row? No grips. Im going to HAVE to call the GM and complain about this place. This is hands down the worst LA Fitness for lifters!!

The reason I give it a 5 out of 5 is because my 2 year old daughter is very particular about who she is comfortable with, as she should be, & she feels comfortable in the kids club . The ladies there are great with kids & genuinely kind & welcoming & it makes me feel good about leaving her with then for an hour or two while I work out. The play area itself isnt as cool looking as some of the other LA fitness, but thats not the most important thing . Whats key is that, as a parent, my child is taken care of & valued. My child comes 1st . The locker rooms and classes tend to get full, but people are polite & the free weights usually have available benches for us at any given time, because other customers arent greedy like other gyms.

Great LA Fitness. Plenty of machines. Indoor pool, unisex sauna in pool, jacuzzi area. Only gym with huge sauna & steam room in both ladies & mens locker room area. (Locker rooms need to be updated, need to provide paper towel dispensers. ) Dryers on the walls to dry hair. Mona the manager is excellent. Voice your concern, she is professional, friendly, & handles any issues right away.

I exercise for at least four hours everyday and LA fitness it one of my homes lol I can literally live here.

Ample parking. Very popular location so expect to wait for equipment. Everyone was curteous. Trainers allowed me to use equipment around their training area even though they had clients.

As someone who has been to this gym when it was still a bally fitness gym I would not recommend anyone to come to this gym. The place is extremely dirty and there is only two of every weight training equipment with people sitting on it but wont use it. More than half of the weights are not where it suppose to be; people keep bring weights into places that they should not including the dancing room and then leave without putting it back. Youd think I would have left this place a long time ago but I sucked it up for almost 10 years because they had given me a decent price in the past year but they finally pissed me off. Me and my family of 7 had a contract for 3 years at the price of 18 dollar a month which this low because weve been members of this gym so many years. Imagine how surprised I was to walk in to the gym and they tell me my contract had expired when it has been only two years and that Ive been paying for 26 dollar a month for the past 2 years instead. I would have believed them if I didnt know better that the rest of my family are still paying the same price with a 3 years contract and I (being the only one they didnt give a receipt as proof) strangely had a contract change.Also, I reported to the staff about one of the equipment being broken. It has been 4 month now and its still not repaired. I cant say this for other LA Fitness gyms but this place looks more like a rundown prison gym than a health club. I would have stayed for the pool and the sand bags if the changing room and pool wasnt dirty and the sand bag room wasnt littered with weights and other sorts of junk that doesnt belong there.Edit: Also I never realized people actually wipe down machines after using it. I never seen it once during my time in LA Fitness but I went to a cheaper gym I actually see people cleaning it after using.

Gym is well kept and maintained and the staff is very friendly. Also. Want to give a quick shoutout to my personal trainer, Helen.Ive trained with 3 different trainers at two different locations prior to coming here and I can without a doubt say, that she is the best. Her training, motivation, and guidance is 💯✔ she pushes me to be better at every session and I can assure you that I leave my session sore everytime. (In a good way) I mean who doesnt want that? Thank you, Helen!

No good customer experience i came to open a account and came back to cancel on the 3 rd day this place is not good enough for child care there only 1 person with 8 kids including baby’s I don’t feel safe enough to leave my childern there!!! A baby needs a full time attention I came to cancel my membership on the 6 of March and they keep sending my circles I’m getting really frustrated with this situation I better get my full refund total of $150 I came before the 7 period of days to still get a full refund I ask for the manager her name is Mona but I looks like she ingoring me I don’t appreciate that I’m a busy women myself as well I’m just trying to get my refund so I can leave I’m still here at la fitness still waiting over a 1 hour now

Can say anything bad about this place... except sometimes the steam room is NOT working some how and they just leave like that for weeks...instead of get it fix ASAP so people can use.. people PAYto come in NOT FOR FREE.. I’ve joined here since the name of this place still Bally Fitness ! This place is more than 50% of Asian that join here so I suggest whoever run this place (Manager) hire some Asian workers so they help out people who can’t speak in English...

Dont know why the huge complaints, Ive only been here about four times and its been a good experience. I guess the difference is that I came in with a membership already. The front desk people have been real nice though. Most equipment is up to date and well functioning. Good gym so far.

Mona, and then her staff at LA Fitness, are some of the most hard-working individuals you can find anywhere.!!! They always greet you with a smile and treat you respectfully while providing great customer satisfaction service.!!! The gym is equipped with a great variety of cardio machines and a very well staff weight training area.!!! Unfortunately, a lot of the complaints come from gym members who themselves do not clean the equipment after sweating all over it and do not rack the dumbbells and the weight plates the way they are supposed to after using it.!!! The staff at LA Fitness are not your personal maids so please participate and collaborate in keeping the facility and equipment clean.!!!

The service here is terrible. I lost something and wanted to report to the manager here at LA fitness but the manager wont even look at me even when Im standing right next to her desk. She only let the front desk guy, who is much nicer, to let us know that they cant do anything. Its awful customer Service.

I quit my job. I worked one week. I have never seen such poor quality for a gym. People wanted a cheap gym, and they got it. And they would just take it too. No one wipes down their machines. The staff just blew off the customers. The manager was racist, and it was always about tricking people into coming in. I thought I could do some good and make real changes, but I was wrong. It is a complete betrayal of business ethics. If the whole company is like the facility I worked at, it is an evil corporation standing on twigs. Completely bloated.

On February, i met the worst manager ever, she was a young Asian...i was at UFC and meant to transfer to this gym to workout with my friends...every single gym has a guest pass for people to try the first day if they feel great about the gym conditions...but she kept rudely insisting people to pay $15/day even for the first day without advertising or convincing customers to take consideration of joining this gym...i would put it half a star, not even 1 star...

This is by far the worst LA Fitness location Ive seen.Ive held back on writing a review, but this location has so many issues, it should be noted. Ive never seen a gym in such disaray ever. Its in-battled in a culture of we dont care. Nothing is put away, 90% of the weights are always...always missing because no one re-racks weights. You will never find anything for the cable machines, and machines are constantly broken.

They are surely improving their customer service, and it looks like they hired more cleaning people to clean the workout equipment. Thats definitely a good thing.

Nice club. It has everything. 30% of equipments require major maintenance because these were either not functioning well or broken. People works out here are rude, dirty, and no regard of others.

Customer service here doesnt exist. The staff holding leadership positions just dont care and that attitude trickles down to the rest of the staff. The facility is not very clean and the equipment is often down down for months at a time. After visiting the facility it made me appreciate my other gym and I soon cancelled my membership with LA Fitness.

I dont really write anything bad reviews....so might I suggest LA Fitness Rosemead, please up your game on the members service dept . I requested (to the front desk staff) for the paper towel dispenser to be refilled because i noticed many other members are disappointed that there isnt any papertowels when they go to reach for it. Front desk staff yes sure!... I came down to leave and little did i know I knew she wouldnt have anyone to refill the paper towel dispenser! Come on! How lazy can you be? Youre just standing there .... ugh

They did not tell us where the exactly parking they own, so my car got towed in front of LA fitness, yes just at MAIN ENTRANCE not even park at accessible. Even i explained this is my first day just enrolled. The receptionist is not nice

Filthy! Unorganized! Equipment missing. Be careful where you park, cars get towed every 10 minutes. Been coming here for 6 years and I still hate it. If you wonder why, check traffic going east on a Friday night!

I love coming here to excersise with my husband. They have a lot of equipment but hopefully they will fix some of them.

Absolutely LOVE this this LA Fitness! Its always clean and the Staff is unbelievably amazing! Not to mention DayCare!! The Ladies in DayCare ALWAYS take the best care of my 8 month old!

Could not understand how can it survive with that terrible service. If you want to get more stress after long day working you definitely need this place. It will drive you crazy and you have to pay for that service. Good luck with that!

Ive been an LA fitness member for over 10 years and have gone to dozen clubs around Southern California. This one is by far the worst. The pool is overcrowded. The locker room, toilet and shower area are really dirty. Theres no paper towels available to wipe down wet floor and benches. (Disclaimer: Im Asian with at least a quarter Chinese.) This place is like a China Town. If youre not Chinese, theyll give you a weird look. Even i feel out of place. Obviously, theres not much that the staff can do about this. But they can certainly improve on cleanliness.

Love the environment but I really hate how the men’s sauna got a funky smell. Smell like cheesy patas 🤮😂

Decent gym. Looked clean well organized. It was converted to an LA fitness from an old Ballys. Seemed like it was 90% male, there is no juice bar or supplements sold and its hidden in the back of a shopping center although it does have freeway visibility. The UFC gym across the street seems to be what the younger hotter crowd is drawn to.

When I decided to cancel my membership, the manager gave me attitude and talked on the phone for 1 hour. One of the worst gym experience I ever had. Just dont come to this gym or you will regret

As close to a prison gym as I would imagine, but extend the age scale to cover the about to depart. Camping out on equipment is an understatement here, its the mandate. Also bring your own attachments if you need something like a D-handle or a tricep rope. There is ONE working paper towel dispenser outside of the locker room and there is NONE in the locker room, at least the men side. Lockers in general are the square cubby size you might be able to fit a back pack and not the long rectangle that you could hang stuff. I would avoid this place. Learn my lesson. Run, dont just walk away from here.

I went there with my friend to try out the gym. They asked for my driver license at first, then required to take my picture. I refused to take picture because it is not right, and only government place can take picture. I do not like it at all. I left and never come back. I just wanted to try out the gym, but too much hassle.

They should be more strict with their rules and order, no people dumping dumbbells, or having well sorted their dumbbells, despite that, its very well.

I been a La fitness member for 3-4 years I visit like 14 La fitness facilities since I lived in many different cities plus I like to visit all the locations near me, but this is the worst LA fitness because any other LA Fitness required your an ID, car keys or tag barcode to provide you equipment

The place is a pit! Locker room/bathroom filthy, smells of urine. Sinks have puddles that drip on the floor. Place doesnt get cleaned properly or often. Clientele needs training on how to pick-up after themselves. Weights are scattered all over the gym floor; not put away in their appropriate racks. Management should take heed and create a more pleasant environment.

Dirtiest, most unorganized gym I have ever seen. I have been to other LA Fitnesses across the country and this one is the worst I have encountered. Lack of cleaning supplies should have been my first clue. Never again.

Id give this place 0 star if it is possible. This is my first timr reviewing anything on any website, but Im going to do it. I had a fitness instructor in this gym and that was alright. However, I moved to another state and told them to cancel this service, and what happened is that LA fitness keeps charging me $180 every month even though I told them to cancel 3 months ago. Everytime I go there, I got ignored. Horrible place, horrible employees. Now I gotta go thru the court to get back my money. I hope this place is going down soon.

Watered down soap, no shower curtains, no hello, welcome, how are you, have a nice day...no actual checking of guest privileges, Im paying for nothing. Bandages on the floor, people slam the weights, person at checkin on phone, did I mention they dont wipe the machines at all. Im still a member but honestly I used to have planet fitness and at least they clean

I could not sleep for a few nights after the chinese guy in the front desk insulted me in front of many people, he said I need to give him my sons fitness centers card because my disabled son did something wrong, otherwise he would call police on me….1) He did not have to ask me to give him the card right away, because the card is the mens restroom, also, I was in the SPA, why he could not just wait when we are out or before we leave.2) He did not have to tell me that in front of many people that my disabled son did something wrong. that is private thing he disclosed to everyone, he has no respect to me and my son.3) He should not threat me by saying to call police, and I am criminal to him ?! why he did not have people skills or customer skills to handle things.4) No one could guarantee that you would not have disabled children in your life, you would know better how you feel when your disabled children did something wrong in public place...But I have to say thank you to the Manager : Gabriel and Daniel, they tried what they can to forgive, tolerate and help my son to enjoy being there….

This is a terrible club. I have been to other LA FITNESS clubs, and this one is by far the worst. Quan L. Paxton, the manager at this club, is a loud, arrogant, self-important, and pompous, and his staff is severely lacking in strong leadership. The gym is in disarray, and the machines stay in disrepair for an unreasonable amount of time. Stay away from this club. It is horrible.

This fitness needs to recruit more quality workers to work there. The facility service is so bad. Need 2-3 weeks everytime just only to fix the simple work as such, steam room door, weight equipment, steam room machine problem, etc. All workers dont know how to work n answer properly to their customers about facilities that have problem or broken.Today March 31, 2016, just fixed the steam room door that already 3 weeks more but the manager n a worker lied saying just 2 weeks to fix the door. They confidently lied to customers and said: just 2 weeks. We withdrew the memberships bc of bad service, bad manage, and fought .

I have been going to this gym since last July.. The staff is friendly and the place is clean, especially considering the amount of people in it. Overall, it has been a positive experience..

Let me begin by saying I had a single gym membership to the rosemead Location. Ive been going there for a little more than 3 years. Its the only location I go to so Ive seen countless staff members come and go. The place is fine. Its the staff and the members that make it a bad place. The place got remodeled from a Ballys, so the dont have the nice lockers and basketball courts.So going back to the staff... like I said 3+ year comming here and I never had any problems. June 30 Im at the gym happy because they finally bought box jump equipment. I dont like stacking the others cause it dangerous and not what there intended for. So Im using the box jumps equipment and the famous CHRIS everyone loves to yelp about comes and tells me I cant use it. So I ask why not. He said its for the PT customers (clients) only. I was out raged because No one was using them. Ive never missed a payment and now there policy is u must pay extra to use ALL the equipment? so I didnt listen and kept jumping. He comes back a few minutes later with MONA (the main front desk person) and the same thing happens. She told me to stop, I asked why. And again its about not paying the PT prices. So by then Im mad. She asked me to leave after she took the box jump equipment away from me.Since I didnt leave she had the staff call the police. Yes the police. They came and the first thing officer Morales said to me is WHY WERE YOU THROWING THE WEIGHTS AROUND? shocked by his question, I said thats a lie! I wasnt even using weights! After talking on the phone with the district manager we came to the agreement that he would give me access to all LA FITNESS and I wouldnt go back for at least a month.This whole situation I feel would never of happened when LISA was boss. She was fair and all the equipment was working. The steam and sauna were working. Since MONA has been there Ive noticed a big change in the moral of the staff and in the facility. The sauna has been broken for I dont know how long. I dont get a discount on my membership when equipment isnt working properly. MONA has zero customer service skills. Ive witnessed her being rude and unprofessional to members. (especially the old Asian ladies) I also feel it was very unprofessional of her to lie to a police officer about my a legend throwing of the weights. Check the cameras!Lets get back to the famous CHRIS that still has his job there despite all the love the show. He has approached two of my female friends, but not for PT. He objectify the girls by complementing them on there good looks. Both my friends (both at different time btw) fame to me after talking about they wanted to leave. That this guy just made them feel so uncomfortable and that hes a creep. So I ask who and yup it was CHRIS in not sure of his last name but to be sure there no confusion. Hes the black trainer with outrageous hair cut.

Compared to other LA fitness gyms that I go to, this is the most lacking and dirty one so far. If it werent for being close to my work, I wouldnt go here. It lacking in gym equipments especially bars and ropes, bugs crawling in the steam & sauna rooms, old cardio machine, and no wifi! Plus it is overcrowded mostly in the mornings.

So my husband goes to this gym and its the worst! First its under my credit card the first time they charged it twice and I went in there and they first didnt want to help me but when they saw that I had my brother with me they gave me my refound. Then one of the workers ther was flirting on my husband right in my face! Lastly the manager decided to get my husband and tell him that he can help him get with some of the girls there!! So I then realized that its not only a gym but I guess a dating service... That is how the manager got my husband to cheat on me! After he saw me go in to get them to stop charging my card he tells me that they are not going to untill he gets another card in the system!!!

There are weights all over the floor and its really hard to find equipment your looking for because its all scattered. They need to hire someone to put wieghts back or enforce members to pick up after themselves. I came here from planet fitness at 10dls a month and I regret it. Now paying 29 for a worse quality gym.
