Great work testing and providing advice with a old pair of Chevy heads. They had new replacements on the shelf. They have an impressive machine shop and by the looks of the got rods out back, this is a well trusted business.

Dropping off and picking up was easy. I had a cylinder head and engine block checked and cleaned up. They came out great. Friendly staff too!

Ive been coming to JBs for years. Needed a hot tank done on my oil pan and the before and after pictures speak for themselves. Always family friendly, jbs will always have y business. Pan looks like it just got done the last weld.

Didnt give them 5 stars because I havent gotten engine work done yet. Just small stuff. Just dropped off my 401 though trusting these guys to build it.

JBs Auto Machine was recommended to me by a friend and I was not disappointing. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of my questions. Their input was very helpful in selecting parts for the build. They did machine work on the block and assembled the rotating assembly for a forged 383 LT1 (gen 2 SBC). The engine works great and I am more than happy with their work, the pricing, and their turn-around time. I would highly recommend and I will be going back in the future.

Took them three weeks to call me and give an estimate. Then said it would be another 4 weeks to complete. I decided to go another route due to timing. They charged me $300 to “degrease” an already machined, decked engine. It had no oil/coolant in it. It came right off an engine stand with all new gaskets etc. That also included giving me an estimate. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

What can I say ? Best damn motor place in Maryland.

I remember my Dad letting me ride along with him to pick up parts from this machine shop when I could barely walk. Now that I am older now and building my own engines I see now why my Dad always went there.
