Purchased my tires through the Mavis website and scheduled appointment was very easy. Arrived at my appointment met the manager Mark, who informed me UPS had not delivered the tires yet. I wasnt able to stick around, so he had a service technician Ed drive me back to work so he could accomplish the service that was scheduled, Mark called when the tires arrived installed them, and sent Ed back to get me so I could pick up my truck. I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have had. Both Kyle and Mark were down to earth and easy to talk to. They have amazing customer service skills. They went above and beyond expectations. I would recommend Mavis to everyone. I liked that they kept me updated with what was happening and when I questioned something they didn’t shoot me down they double checked their notes with my vehicle. I will be back for future needs. I dont usually like any of the chain quick oil change kind of places, but Ive had two great experiences with Mavis in Rome and they really deserved a review. Im most impressed by the people working there, specifically Mark and Sabrina, who were both very friendly and helpful.The first time I stopped in I was helped by Mark. My father hadnt driven in months but suddenly needed his truck on short notice. It had tons of problems (flat tires, dead battery, etc). Everyone was closed or booked, but Mavis took us in last-minute and got everything in working order right away. I was expecting extra charges or you need to replace X, Y, and Z but they didnt do any of that! Mark especially helped get everything squared away.Few months later my wife realized our inspection had expired and wanted to get it done right away. I thought of Mavis and they got us in immediately. This time we saw Sabrina who was also super helpful. She got our vehicle inspected and ready for us on basically no notice, no unexpected findings or extra charges.Two great experiences here with two different people. Really impressed by this place and the people who work here. Ill probably make this a go-to place for getting my vehicles worked on. Highly recommended.

I drop my car off here for minor work because its closer than my dealership is. Mark saved my sanity when I couldnt stand the sound of my loose heat shield anymore. He got my car in as fast as he could and bolted it back on pretty quick so i didnt have to wait very long. He also checked my fluid levels when i was there and told me to get a power steering flush soon. They are not pushy with most mechanic shops and thats what i like about that place. The staff is awesome!

I always get great service. They try to give you the best rates and don’t push unneeded repairs. They make you aware of safety issues.

Mark and Kyle are hands down one of the best employees that Ive came across in this mechanic industry! They went above and beyond to help me fix my tires and as fast as possible! They knew I was in a crunch with being late to work and made sure they did everything they could to help me get my car in quickly and keep me updated throughout the process. I recently took my truck into Mavis in Rome. I was very impressed with the way I was treated. Dave, I believe one of the assistant managers was very helpful. He kept me posted the whole time I was there. I would highly recommend Mavis to my friends and family.

I came in needing a complete front end suspension replacement and thought I needed brakes because of a loud grinding noise I was hearing from my right side of my car. Turns out my wheel bearing was bad and my brakes were fine, but they did all of that in one afternoon. Kyle (assistant manager) was awesome and kept in constant contact with me to let me know what was going on. Will definitely go back here again

I went in Friday for an alignment and new rear tires. I got down the road and noticed a noise. So I went back Monday to see if they could figure it out. He found that there was an older wheel weight in the rotor, took it out and I was on my way noise free. Manager mike is an amazing guy and really helped me out when I needed it. I would defiantly recommend them to anybody seeking work.

Mark was very energetic which I enjoyed he is such a cool guy, who helped me out a lot actually and I want to thank him for the process. Definitely need more people like mark for sure I highly recommend mark!!!

Absolutely the worst place you can possibly take your car in Rome avoid at all costs. Prices are terrible takes an hour just to drop your car off because no one bothers to attend to the customers. I watched them drive a womans truck into the port and turn it off and then come in and tell her it wouldnt turn on again. She came in for tires and then when they lifted the car they crashed the hood into the roof of the shop. Idiots work here and only an idiot would bring their car here

Very good service fixed 2 wheel bearings and all brakes for very competitive price.. very understanding and helpful staff Ill be back plenty...returned August 2021 for recurring issue and staff were very helpful.. All needed work done for LESS than price quoted... They seem to appreciate return customers

I called because I had a screw in my tire and I was told to bring right in. I was there within 5 minutes, my tire was fixed and I was done in under 15 minutes. Mark and Kyle are fantastic! Thank you for your superb customer service!

I ran over two massive bolts on my way home from work. I called Mavis when I got home and they told me to bring my car right in. Within less than 24 hours I had two new tires and an oil change. Guys are great! Reasonable price. I’ve used their shop for my past 5 vehicles and the service is always quick.

I recently brought my car in for some more suspension work due to a rattling sound coming from the driver side front end. They replaced the inner and outer tie rods, the ball joints, and did a wheel alignment, and there was still the same rattling sound over nine hundred dollars latter. Some of those parts where wearing out, but obviously it was not the actual problem, so now I will have to still find out what it actually is which will cost me more money. I am glad that they fixed the other problems, but still the original problem did not get resolved. Dont let my situation stop you from going to the Rome NY Mavis, maybe they overlooked something or did not look hard enough. I would still recommend them for maybe something easier to fix like a tire or a windshield wiper blade?

I’ve been going for years! Recently (my let 2 visits, oil change & inspection) I’ve noticed a new ‘manager’ I believe or extremely professional office worker. He is amazing and always fast and makes sure HE checks things before he gives them the okay. I appreciate him and how efficient he is, I’m a gabber and will get stuck places for hours and thankfully he doesn’t let me do that! He’s the dad we all need and love to bring our car too.

I went into my local Mavis in Rome NY with a completely dead battery expecting to wait my turn for service, I had purchased my battery from there originally, but within minutes the manager Mark, and assistant manager Charlie went right to work and put in a new battery and made sure my Jeep was running good before I left. They went out of their way to take care of me. I would recommend to all my family and friends to go there for the services they offer. Have been there many times and have always been treated with the same courteous service from Mark and his crew.

The guys were great! Charlie came to my house and got the car started for me then they took it to the shop and replaced the battery. They also transferred my tires to the snow tires. It was great to be able to stay home and have my car taken care of for me.

I made an appointment for some work to be done on my car and I had to leave work early to go and when I arrived they told me they were too busy to take any other customers and I said but I have an appointment . They said they couldnt honor it because they were too busy. If they were that busy why didnt the call me and cancel it, I understand sometimes that may happen if some repairs take longer than others but that was horrible customer service. The topper was the emailed I received saying I missed my appointment would I like to reschedule !!!!!! Um NO I wouldnt ..
