I love this type of gyms. When I visit Rolla, I like to come here. Those commercial gyms are not family friendly

I am an assistant coach here at Missouri S&T. Peggy and staff helped our athletic program by loaning us some of their equiptment so we can still work out and socially distance. Now we have the resources to have 3 weight rooms for all of our student-athletes and they can all socially distance while working out.

Ive lived in Houston, Texas for 4 years and have yet to find a massage therapist as good as Nathan. I usually try to see him when Im visiting, but he stays very booked up, so Im not always successful with getting in. The last time I was in Rolla, a friend suggested I try Katie who had recently started working at Vessells and was trained under Nathan. Katies massage technique is 100% on par with Nathans, and her personality and professionalism truly made me comfortable and relaxed. Katie clearly adheres to the same standard of service and excellence we have all come to expect from this establishment. She focused on the areas that I told her were bothering me most, and her techniques provided me with much needed relief. Im so thankful to have tried her! Next time Im home, I will be visiting Katie as much as possible. Her prices are incredibly reasonable! Everyone, go see Katie!

I really enjoy working out at Vessells! The staff is friendly & supportive; the facility & equipment is clean & well-maintained. I especially enjoy the variety of group fitness classes offered & the fact that they are included with your membership fee. Childcare is also very affordable. Peggy Chirban, Vessells owner, takes pride in her business & works diligently to keep her patrons happy. She interacts with members personally & seeks input from them regarding hours, class offerings, etc. I think everyone should have a place where they feel comfortable working on their fitness goals & Vessells has provided that to me for more than 10 years.

The staff at Vessells is fabulous. Extremely welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond to help you. I always pick this place over the chain workout places because I grew up here and it still has the small town charm it always had. What I also like is that they are one of the few places that will allow you to pop in and workout if you are just visiting family for a very reasonable price. They offer classes and racquetball courts if you’re into that. As for equipment, if you like free weights, they have plenty to choose from as well as newer, nicer cardio equipment. When it comes to weight machines, though, they are the exact ones I used when I was in high school 20 years ago. They are old and outdated and the paint is chipping off. Some of them still use chains and have an old fashioned seat belt to hold you in place. When using the leg press the sled is wobbly and feels very unstable and ended up hurting my knees. You have a great place there Vessells, please do us a favor and upgrade your weight machines to keep up with the newer places in town!!!

Wouldnt go anywhere else to work out. The staff make you feel like youre home. There is no other place in Rolla where you can walk in a gym and they greet you by name. Not only is the staff friendly, but any time I have been in the weight room, any member has been willing to help me or give me suggestions on my workout. Classes are free with your membership! I feel a lot of people dont go to gyms to workout because they feel insecure. I promise you wont feel that way at Vessels. No one in that gym judges you. They truly want to see you succeed and reach your goals! Love Vessels Fitness Center!

Very happy to be a member of Vessels Fitness. Great owner and very friendly staff who are ready to help at any time for whatever you need. Whether its cardio, aerobics, lifting weights, or racquetball that you are interested in. Theres something there for everyone, even child care for anyone with children.

Vessells fitness complex is the best that Rolla, Mo can offer! If you want a friendly, knowledgeable staff that will go over and beyond to get you to your fitness goal then Vessells is the place for you. Ive been to all the gyms/fitness centers in Rolla and they are all good BUT Vessells is the best of them all when it comes to helpful, friendly and knowledge!!! A+

They have two fantastic massage therapists. Better than a visit to the chiropractor!

This gym has so much to offer...free classes, free weights (plenty of them), cardio conditioning, racquetball, etc along with organized tournaments. The real deal since the 80s. Staff is knowledgeable and anything but pretentious, a place designed for fitness beginners, to those advanced. Vessells has been used as a training ground for years for a variety of athletes....check it out!

Good place to work out at and a good staff.

Absolutely awful place with a chip on its shoulder because they lost all their customers to better fitness centers. What do you expect when you never update your equipment and facilities? If you like junky equipment and no air conditioning, this is definitely the place for you. Not to mention its located in a ghetto part of Rolla. Lock your car doors. It is nice that you get a good view of I-44 while working out. If they had windows, that is. The worst part? They try to brainwash their clients into joining their weird church which is really a front for negative political campaigns. Must be nice to have so much money flowing in that you can completely fund political groups that accomplish absolutely nothing except getting in the way of positive change in the community.

Family friendly facility. Family owned and operated since 1980 this place is the original in Rolla. The only place in Rolla with nice Racquetball courts. Also offer weight lifting, cardio, and free aerobic classes. Great place for the family.

This place is old and crappy. Theres much better options available. Use the new Anytime Fitness on 63, the Centre or the S&T gym if youre a student.
