Good gym, lots of equipment. Always a spot open. Is kept very clean.
The best place on campus. Sports, swimming, dancing, weightlifting, and bunch of other stuff. Its got something for everyone. P.s. gym is pretty much empty early mornings.
Lets talk management for S&T athletics. First off coaches for varsity sports have their priorities straight and make decisions (smart ones) based off what NEEDS to be done for their team to have a chance at success. Being a member of the track team has showed me this first hand. The mismanagement is through the roof here. The care and upkeep for the buildings is limited to none. This does not stem from the workers themselves but from the upper levels of management and bosses not seeing what needs to be done (bad priorities). I for one noticed that bringing in new coaches seems to be a reoccurring theme here. Lack of investment in the coaches and their futures has created an environment where long term sustainability isnt feasible. Budget mismanagement is another talk but Ill save that for another time.
Can get pretty busy at times during the day so watch when you go. Its very small so when it is busy not much is open to use so you may have to wait a while. Equipment is in good shape and very clean area.
I have mainly visited this place for badminton and occasional indoor cricket tournament. For both of these purposes, this place seems as a nice fit.
Really nice gym since it got remodeled
The Gym is good but its shut until Fall 2019
Good gym, but with the increase in enrollment, the gym is packed to the brim with people--waiting for equipment--for around 80% of their operating hours.
Small and cramped. If you go in the evenings theres a small fitness class that comes in and does stuff everywhere
Clean and lots to do, even swim
The old gym needs an update. The upcoming addition and renovation will be a major improvement.
Perfect one!!!
