While on the way home from vacation, our Camper Trailer experienced a double blow out. We called Johns Firestone as we trotted into town and they had just what we needed. When we got there the staff was so professional and got us right in. They were quick to change our tires and even checked out our other tires to make sure we could get home safely. We appreciate the fast and efficient service.

They took care of me in a pinch when traveling, which I appreciate but are pretty irresponsible. No masking, lots of smoking. They cited that they cant enforce mask mandates because of HIPPA which is a lie and then proceeded to smoke and made my eyes water the whole time. Anyways, Im off to a funeral for someone who died of covid. Ive already had covid despite my best efforts so I dont have to be concerned with spreading coronavirus.I had told them I was off to a funeral for someone who dies of covid and no sympathy. We will see if the work holds up, but I hope to never use this place again.

Great local tire shop that treats customers with respect and doesnt try selling you anything you dont need. My wife took the car in one day while I was at work and they treated her great, not like some places who try to lie to women and make up repairs that dont need done. Told her how the brakes looked and they had plenty of life left as a courtesy and you cant beat the prices, a lot cheaper than the chain tire shops in town

I chose to come here because my friend had a really good experience with them. They were able to fix an engine problem that other places couldnt find.I went in for an oil change and it was super fast. Only $30.However, when I went back to my car afterwards, my door handle on the drivers side was broken. They are paying to get it replaced so Im thankful for that. They sent me to Al West Collision who will repair the damage once the part they order arrives.

Went in for a patch, but came out with a brand new set of tires. I needed them! And, I got top rated tires for a very nice price. Great service, too.

Dont waste your time otmr your money. We took our vehicle there for a simple function check and not only did they lie to our face about having driven it around to check for problems but they also charged us for work that wasnt done.

They get your vehicle in and done within good time. However, they seem to have some fishy practices. Ive had an instance with brake service not being ideal and an instance with a battery conveniently going dead after perfect performance when leaving the truck with them over the weekend for ball joint replacement. Just seems inconsistent in quality and ethics.

Friendly, skillwd, and helpful people. They always keep me informed of what needs to be done and how much it will cost. Ive been taking my car here since 2009 and they keep it in great shape for me

We broke down in Rolla today and had to tow our old Toyota Avalon to John’s wow what a honest experienced shop we found they got us back on the road and safely home. 5 ⭐️ auto repair. If I’m in area and need auto service repairs this is the shop I will use.

I am from out of town and my car broke down on I-44 about 20 miles west of Rolla. I had it towed here and I was very happy with the service. Turns out I spun a rod bearing and needed a new engine. I decided to go ahead and get the car fixed. Their quote on parts & labor was fair and reasonable. (My dad is a service manager at a automotive repair shop in St. Louis and their quote was comparable to what my dad estimated repairs would be.) The guys that run Johns Firestone are professional and honest and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend!

Very honest business. We took a car there to get a second option after taking it to a dealership that said it would cost $2200 to fix. Took the car to Johns and they couldnt find anything wrong with it.

They did my brakes, rotors and calipers. Good price and done promptly. Definitely got business again from me

Great for a damsel in distress. Just put my spare on for free when I couldnt get limits off and gave me an estimate for new tire when mine couldnt be repaired with no sales pressure. I love them, so respectful.

I have never been to such a horrible place in my life. We took our (new to us) car to Johns Firestone in rolla based on the 4 star rating. They asked us what we thought was wrong with the car we told them the alternator was bad and needed replaced and also the steering was bad specifically the rack and pinion but we knew there were other things and that we wanted everything in it that was bad to be fixed. That is on us for not doing more research and trusting complete strangers with our car. They fixed a bunch of things and said our car ran like new again. They charged us $1,054.02 for parts and $716.00 for labor which we were ok with and expecting to pay quite a bit. When I drove it home that Friday I didnt notice any problems however the next time I drove it the following monday everything I was experiencing before was exactly the same as if I never took it anywhere. We took it back again that day hoping they would honor the fact they didnt fix it instead they acted like we were new customers and charged us $222.61 for parts and $180.40 for labor. Some of the parts they supposedly replaced the first time to supposedly replace them again. The car already seems to be dragging as I just got the car back again. If it doesnt run great I can tell you they will see me in court and I will never ever take any vehicle back to those crooks again even if they were the last mechanics on earth. Johns Firestone is a joke they deserve negative stars.

My son is a Freshman at Rolla and his car would not start. He took it here to get it checked out and the guys were very honest and took care of us. We will be back. Very close to campus my son could walk to get his car.

Ive been coming here for 35 years. Always excellent work and I dont trust anyone else in Rolla. There was a time they could have made a lot of money from me and I wouldnt have lnown difference but he didnt and pointed out to me so no one else would except they already had. I wont trust anyone else. Not saying no one else in Rolla can be trusted just I know for sure Johns Firestone can. Years of service and trust.

Took the car in for inspection.They didnt honor my appointment time (not a big deal, I understand), and then THEY REPLACED PARTS ON MY CAR WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! It was only a $2 light bulb (they charged me $15 to replace it) but the principal of the matter dictates that they get permission before they add expenses above what I approved. They did not honor this principal. (If you check their YELP reviews you will find that this is not the first time Johns Firestone has has done things to peoples cars without their permission.)Also, my car smelled like an ashtray when I got it back.Would not go back.

On August 6th my daughter and baby granddaughter were traveling through Rolla, MO when her car broke down. I did a Google search for auto repair centers in Rolla, MO and buy sheer luck I found John’s Firestone. The mechanics at John’s Firestone accurately diagnose the vehicle and located the problem in no time at all. It took a day for the part to be shipped into Rolla and shortly after that the car was ready to go.Because of extenuating circumstances, which were all my own fault, it took the mechanics longer to install the part than it normally would. The manager only charged me for the time the repair manual called out for, even though I insisted that I would pay him for the full time he had put into the repair.The people at Firestone are the most professional, honest and responsible mechanics that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I highly recommend the good people at John’s Firestone for any automotive issues that you encounter.
