Awesome salon! Trisha (the owner) colored my hair on Sunday night. I appreciate her so much for making time for me last minute. Not to mention my hair is amazing. I had just got back from a month in Hawaii- my hair was a disaster- sun fried and looking crazy. She transformed my disaster into a miracle. Thank you thank you thank you Trisha!

Tricia is a total professional. I went in for a simple haircut last week and was treated to so much more. She paid attention to what I wanted while juggling another customer having some color added. My haircut was just what I asked for and while shampooing my hair she noticed the dry flakes on my scalp and used a shampoo that has eliminated that problem. Everyone I encountered at the salon was friendly and upbeat. I give the experience two thumbs up, I’ll be back!

Drove 2 hours round trip to support a friends small businesses . What a mistake Trisha arrived 15 minutes late. I booked a mommy and me appointment . My daughters hair came out good mine on the other hand came out awful!! It was not done correctly at all after 6 hours she expected me to stay longer and try to fix it with still an hour to get home. A 7 year old who didnt eat dinner. Then acted like that was the best that she could do. Gave me a free brush and hair product. Didnt style my ashy dull hair that she had to double process. Sent me home in tears after charging me $400 to ruin my hair!! If you value your money and your time I would NOT see her.. such a disappointment now I have to go pay again to correct this mess she made. After being on lockdown then finally having a salon day what a disaster!! She also booked another appointment in the middle of our mommy daughter appointment!! Support small businesses that appreciate you and your business!What a nightmare!! The worst service I have ever received in 25 years!!The esthetician on the other hand was remarkable ! I would advise her to find a place that professionally was more on her level of quality!

Trisha helped me so much I had major damage from an at home bleaching attempt. She brought my hair back to life! She gave recommendations for what I could use to get it back to rights and help stop the breakage. (Wasn’t just pushing products she sells either it was recommendations in general for my hair type and issues!) I have been coming to her for over a year now and sooo incredibly happy with my hair! It pays to have the professionals take care of you.

I went in today without an appointment and even though Trisha was completely swamped, she still made time to give me a haircut. For most people, getting a haircut is simple, but not for me. I suffer from severe anxiety and trichotillomania and because of that, its been over 3 years since I last got my hair done. Trisha was so understanding and incredibly kind. She kept reassuring me that my hair looked wonderful and that I looked great with my new haircut. Trisha, thank you for making me feel so pretty, you have no idea how happy your words made me feel! This past winter, I colored my hair using henna (HUGE mistake!) and was having the hardest time finding someone who would work with henna (Apparently it doesn’t mix well with other dye/bleach) so most people won’t touch it. After months of searching, I found Trisha. I warned her that I had henna in my hair, I’m a natural redhead, that I’m super picky, and oh, by the way, I’m getting married in two weeks! She assured me she’s been working with hair for 30+ years and not to worry. Well let me tell you... she is a fricken hair WIZARD. She had me come in and do a test strip, then scheduled for me to come in the next day to do the highlights. She is very particular about her highlight placement, which I really appreciate. Trisha went above and beyond to make me feel pampered before my wedding and kept me well under my budget without it affecting the look I wanted. She does just the right amount of chatting, super easy to talk to. Her COVID set up is comfortable and well-organized. And I left feeling like I had my hair back again. Literally teared up, I was so excited and relieved. Thank you so much, Trisha! You did a beautiful job and I can’t wait to come back! I 100% recommend!

Today was my first time appointment with Essence Hair Studio. My hairstyle was done by Michelle. She is amazing was able to open early for me to accommodate my busy schedule. Very cozy salon, well decorated & not over the top, excellent options for hair care & multi-cultural styles, great stylists, & delicious Tea! Michelle, youre the greatest!

So I went into this hair salon for a quick blow dry and was very happy with the turn out. I then booked an appointment to get extensions because I’ve been wanting them for a while. I went back two weeks later to get them out in and was so excited but that turned quickly. See, I never let anyone cut or dye my hair because of past experiences, I was growing my hair out for almost a year and she cut it to my jawline. Was very sad about that. When it was time to put the extensions in she said she didn’t have enough and that I’d have to come back a couple days to get another pack in. Very upset about this because I had somewhere important to be in between the days. So, to keep it short, the hair cut was horrible for me because I have super curly hair and because she chopped it all off I can’t wear it up for work and it’s so much more work because the extensions are straight and have to get it professionally blow dryed because it’s to hard. When I get the last pack in I was not happy because she pulled all the red forward in my hair and the extensions weren’t even blonde but yellow. I found a place that has helped me through this experience and dyed my hair brown and actually brought it down the extensions so it’d blend better and had to get the yellow toned and cut to look more like my real hair. She put the tabs way to close to my roots and they all fell out after two weeks of having them. I now have to get them put back in, and replace all of them because I learned I don’t have them where they should be and because they were put in wrong. I’m sorry but I will never go back here ever again.

This shop is the best. The hair stylist are crazy. I had a lady named Trisha and she was bomb. I have a really difficult time with my hair due to me being mixed and i get tired of having to blow dry and straighten everytime it gets humid. Today i got a brazilian blowout. I was worried about it being too harsh but it wasnt. She did a very beautiful job and fast. Not rushing fast but swiftly fast. Hands down she is a talented lady and very funny. I truly enjoyed the experience. Wouldnt go to anyone else. Thanks

I called Essence Salon in Rohnert Park on Friday 2/1 and made an appointment for today (Saturday 2/2) at 4:30pm. I was looking forward to my appointment because I havent had a good haircut in a while and was looking forward to showing off my new do at a work function later tonight.Around 4pm I received a call from Drea (Andrea) who requested if I could now come at 5pm because her previous client was taking a little bit longer than she requested. Even though I drove from out of town to make the 4:30 appointment, I agreed because I understand how hair can sometimes take longer or shorter depending on how things go. I was mildly annoyed but I waited in the parking lot in my car until 5pm (as per Andreas request) before heading in.When I checked in, no one really knew who I was or why I was there. There was no appointment book and no one greeted me or made me feel welcome. Drea popped her head out from around the corner and told me to sit and wait (some more) because she still wasnt done with her client.I sat and I sat and I sat. No one said Ill be right with you, no one offered me anything, no one said ANYTHING at all that would hint as to whether or not my appointment was even still in existence.At 5:20pm, almost a FULL HOUR after my scheduled appointment, I took the initiative to go tell Andrea that I had to leave. She asked if I could wait just a tad bit longer (are you SERIOUS?!) before half-heartedly apologizing as I walked out the door.I have NEVER seen such an unprofessional salon or hair stylists. In a way I believe it is almost fate that this happened. If someone cant even be punctual and true to their word when booking a client, why would I trust them with my hair?!Word to the wise: AVOID THIS SALON AT ALL COSTS!
