Unhappy about the billing process. Gratin provided me with an estimate of the amount that should be covered by my insurance. I expected that estimate to be within $50. I was unhappy to see Gratons estimate was $300 off and now I am stuck with an extra $300 bill. Who is responsible for the bad estimate process? Graton or the insurance company? I dont know, but Im not happy.

Meriam did a good job xraying my teeth (16 X-rays) - however, when I was checked by another tech/assistant, I was told that I would need my gums scraped, which would require anesthesia. When I refused to have this done, they would not continue with the initial service requested- a cleaning. They said they would be negligent if they continued to clean my teeth? Is this some sort of extortion to force me to a very painful gum scrape? Thanks but no thanks.

I had a really good experience. Claudia the hygienist is very friendly, very knowledgeable, and a good communicator. Dr. Lawrence is friendly and sounds very much like she knows what shes doing. Friendly and professional staff. Ill be back.

Valerie Lawrence is a greedy crook. She told me I needed two crowns and all my wisdom teeth pulled. Went to a different dentist who said I didnt need the crowns or my wisdom teeth pulled. I guess she was trying to make up the $ she lost during covid.

Got quotes for a procedure at $400 and paid $985? Asked for a simple extraction that was already priced on my last visit, in there defense it was pre pandemic and was told $250 to remove, now made a appointment and they want me to do a full exam and 3D X-ray at $230 when all I want is a extraction of the tooth that they already said needs to be taken out and they would have done on the spot. I was told I might have to go see a specialist to have it extracted and have to pay for there exam, went to another dentist and had x-ray and exam plus had extraction for $228 total, glad I canceled my appointment😊 they are very nice people at Graton Dental Group but there billing practices suck🤷‍♂️

Switched to this dentist a few months ago and so glad I made the change. All the staff are so nice and friendly (especially Maria and Allison up front). Very professional and great treatment. Also, they have an in house periodontist a few times a month which is super helpful for my care. Strongly recommend if youre looking for dentist to give this place a shot!

Graton dental group are wonderful. The front office staff are very pleasant and help making appointments an easy process. Their dental hygienist is very thorough but doesnt have a rough hand. She makes it easy to come in early before work by having 800 am appointment times available. Definitely give this place a try if you are looking for a new dentist in rohnert park.

Shes a big part of why we liked our former dentist, and following her made sense. She always makes you feel so comfortable. I went for a cleaning for the first time for a cleaning at Graton Dental Group, which I was referred to by a friend. I was skiptacle because I dont like any machinery in my mouth. It was SO freezing cold in there- I wish they had warned me. I was uncomfortable for the entire visit. Very clean and professional, but they also didn’t mention that I wouldn’t get a regular polishing/cleaning...I may have waited, had I known that...

A visit to a dentist can be a very scary thought to almost all us common folk. And thats where graton dental group makes it very easy and comforting to us. From the time you enter their doors, the wonderful ladies at the front desk greet you and welcome you and make you feel important. So once you do get into the treatment rooms, first thing you will notice how clean everything is. Again the medical staff is very friendly and they do their best to ease any pain you are going through with jokes and always that extra support. Apart from that, they have plenty of parking, easily noticeable from the main road, they got a coffee machine and a nice sitting area with plenty of magazines to keep you busy if you are waiting for someone. A recommended dental group if you live in and around the neighborhood.

Being a bit of a nervous nellie, going to a dentist is not my favorite thing. My recent visit to the Graton Dental Group was a very good and easy experience. Claudia, the hygienist, was great, calming and professional, and I wont mind at all seeing her on as regular basis. Later, my appointment with Dr. Sheila was also easy for me. The best part of my procedure is that I didnt feel those novocaine shots.After the procedure my teeth felt fine, my bite was good, and no pain. A very nice staff, I highly recommend this office.

I came from another dentist that I had terrible experiences with, including braces. I had a dental emergency and was not too comfortable going to the place I know. My friend Allison Stoddard had worked a long time ago at the dentist I was currently a pt at. I turned to FB to ask friends referrals. Allison let me know where she was and how fabulous it was compared to my current one and they would be happy to help, no pressure, if I decided to make an appt. Im sooo glad I did. I suffer from anxiety/panic and dental procedures do not help! lol. I let her know I was scared of what was wrong and leaving town in a few days so I would like an appt to try them out. That was at noon and she said she could get me in by 2:00 pm the same day. From the moment I walked in, I felt comforted. Front office staff greeted me warmly. I was promptly taken back once my paper work was filled out. Maria, I believe was check in and Allison was there right away to greet me and reassure me. Toni came back to get me and let me know right away, no question was dumb and not to hesitate to ask anything so that I could feel reassured and comforted. I had a little panic episode and she did not make me feel stupid, which I appreciate. I am actually a nurse in an outpatient mental health facility, I felt Toni treated me as I like to treat my own patients who are in crisis or having panic attacks. It was nice to be on the other side and get that high level compassion without being embarrassed. Dr Sheila was reassuring, gentle and comforting to my fears. She answered all my questions, even the dumb little ones that put fear into your head. They offer a wonderful incentive for me to pass on referrals and I already passed one on to a co-worker who was impressed with my feed back when I went back to work. Prompt, caring and comforting. so important when creating a calm and trusting relationship with patients. I WILL go back for my filling and crown and I will be bringing my children. Thank you for making this experience not so bad. Even if I did have to wait a little in a future visit as things happen, their caring, comforting mannors and making me feel safe to express my fears and questions without feeling like I was being made fun of behind my back is worth any normal hick ups, billing mistakes I saw in above reviews. Fillings can not take due to genetic make of our teeth, billing mistakes happen, providers being late and you have to wait, but as long as your time is filled with kindness, peace and respect, as well as up to date knowledge, all the rest happens everywhere. Thank you for the top level care you seem to offer. Clean, peaceful and well decorated. Obviously, I cant say enough.

Claudia is the best. She is an asset to the Graton Dental Group.i have never experienced such a high level of care at a Dentist before. Claudia kept me informed at every step of the procedure, I was made aware of what was going to follow, this helped me to stay calm and get over the fear I had of getting poked by the needle several times before the anaesthetic could kick in. These fears were put to rest as soon as the first few injections were administered, i felt no pain!! She was gentle, empathetic, friendly and most importantly highly skilled at her job. Funnily enough i look forward to my next visit to the Dentist.Needless to say, i Highly recommend Claudia and the GDG to anyone who needs to see a dentist.

Terrible place! I had two fillings done incorrectly! The first time I had to go back twice to have it corrected. The second time, they refused to give me a later appointment to fix the filling. I was in pain for two weeks! I was mistreated by the doctor and a staff member when I was trying to get a late appointment to check the filling. fortunately, I had another doctor from another office fixed it . In addition they were over charging my Co-payments.Always check with your insurance before you make any Co payments. I am still waiting for my reimbursement from Graton dental.Hi, since I cannot reply to your response, I am editing my review. Pauline sent me The ONE text with two sentences at 9:00 pm (NOT SEVERAL, and not 2 texts)I was already sleeping when she texted me. The next day, she phoned me (I have copy of the texts and the voicemail from the next day) and left ONE voicemail telling me to ask another doctor from another office to check the filling. By the way, I did reply to Pauline. I have a copy of the texts we exchanged. Let me know if you need a copy of them.My daughter was diagnosed with 9 cavities 6 months ago by Graton. She had done 3 of then on the same day she had her cleaning. Only to find out today by another doctor from another office ( new x-rays done), that she does not have any cavities. I phoned this morning and asked about my daughters alleged 9 cavities and of course I did not get a straight answer.I asked again for my reimbursement for the over chargers on my copayments. A woman named Miranda told me that asking for my reimbursement on over payments was “insane.”Graton Dental, you forgot to mention in your reply to my review that you overcharged me and that you have not as of today send me a reimbursement.Martha

I was charged full price for a procedure considering they asked me to come back to finish up the procedure. I lost a whole day of work because I took the day off just to come in and finish only to learn that the dentist had called in sick and nobody even bothered to give me a heads up to re schedule. I took off time from work and lost wages this irritates me and when I go in they treat the matter like its nothing out of the ordinary.

I chipped my tooth, I was in pain and was about to go on vacation a few days called late talked to Maria she was very nice, made me an appointment for the very next day Allison helped as well as soon as I walked in. The doctors were nice and took good care of me thanks a bunch..
