Lonestar transfer was great to deal with, I had been thinking of using them for a while before i actually reached out and started the process. Once initiated, it was so simple and fast! Paid for the exit in 4 years of maintenance fees alone! I wont miss it one bit.

I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable about a lot of things as well as street smart, but my own attempts to divest myself of my timeshare was frustrating at best. Enter Lone Star Transfer. I turned over the reins to them and they did it all. Even when my particular vacation club pulled the shenanigans they are known for, my Lone Star representative stayed in contact with me and guided me through to the end. I could not be more pleased!

We, unfortunately, like many others succumbed to the high-pressure tactics of a timeshare company. Once they had our money (lots of it), they were very difficult to deal with and often extremely unpleasant. Instead, we kept getting calls asking for MORE money for additional weekends. The yearly fees were increasing, and we realized that we needed to get out of our contract and not pass this along to our children!I had heard horror stories about people being tricked into signing contracts to get out of their timeshares, only to lose more money. So, I wanted to be extremely cautious. I checked the BBB and other sources for reliable firms. I “did my homework” and examined several companies. Some promised release from my contract in 36 months! That would have meant paying several more maintenance fees! Others wanted us to do their work for them – to write a letter detailing our complaints with the timeshare company. Some indicated there would be additional fees along the way. They all indicated that our timeshare company would be difficult to work with to get released from our contract.After much investigation, we selected Lonestar Transfer, and I am SO happy that we did! We paid one last maintenance fee to our timeshare at the first of the year and then signed with Lonestar Transfer. The TV and Radio endorsements are correct! Lonestar got us out of our timeshare contract in SIX MONTHS!We are so excited to be FREE of that timeshare! In addition, we had no additional work to do. We were a little hesitant to use Lone Star Transfer at first because of all the horror stories you hear about the Timeshare relief companies. We bought a time share in the Cancun area of Mexico in March of 2004. We never used it because we could never figure out how to trade it for another place and the language was a very intimidating problem for us. We tried to communicate with the resort but had no success. We decided after 13 years of not using it and paying very hefty annual maintenance fees that we would try to sell our unit. Our contract said if we wanted to sell it, we would first have to offer it back to the resort. They always told us there was no market for it then or due to a hurricane that did a lot of damage, it was a bad time to try to sell.We received a phone call one day from a time share outfit that offered to sell our unit. It would cost us a onetime fee of $600. They were very pleasant on the phone but after a few years of never hearing from them, we gave up and figured that we were scammed and it was a lost cause.Years later we asked our Mexican son-in-law to talk to the management at the resort about selling the timeshare back to them. He was treated rudely and told we could not sell it. We offered to give our unit to the resort or sell it to them for $1.00 and they would not even agree to that.One night we saw a promotion ad on TV by a respected TV talk show host who highly recommended Lonestar Transfer for getting rid of a timeshare. He practically guaranteed success. We decided to give it a try and called Lonestar. They said they would be happy to help us out, told us what we needed to send to them in the way of deeds and other documents. They were extremely helpful and told us that it could take up to a year but if it took longer, we would not be responsible for any future maintenance fees. Their fee was high, but in the long run, it made it so much less stressful to have someone else fighting for us. Because of COVID all of 2020, things moved slower than usual and we all know that in Mexico, everything is done “manana”. Exactly one year from when we started with Timely Acquisitions/Lonestar Transfer, we received two letters from them stating that they had received confirmation from the resort that our transaction was complete and we no longer have any liability for the timeshare.We highly recommend Lonestar. I cant say enough GOOD about Lonestar Transfer. I tried twice with two separate companies prior to working with Lonestar in an attempt to exit my timeshare. In both cases, I was taken for thousands of dollars with no follow-up by the company I had already paid. With Lonestar Transfer, it was different. Believe me, at first, I was wary. No - I was VERY wary. A once bitten twice shy situation. But I reached out and contacted them. Why would I do that having been taken by scam companies before? Simple. I was desperate to get out of my timeshare. It was a line item in my monthly budget to plan and pay for the maintenance fees and the original loan amount, and I wasnt using it. I was very happy with Lonestar Transfer. They helped me get out of my Timeshare and the costly maintenance fees. they did everything they said they would do.

While it took quite a bit longer then what we had hoped for due, I believe because of Covid. Helene was able to part with an unwanted, unneeded and with her health and other problems time share. I had a conversation with Kristopher over the phone. 8/31/2020 He was interested in helping me get rid of my timeshare. However, he spotted that I was not a good fit for them within 10 minutes of my conversation.Why would I rate this company 5 stars if they could not help me?Great question: They are a 5 star business because they were honest and showed me integrity.He did not want to waste my time and offer me something that was not good for me.I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND to my friends

Many people said it couldn’t be done, but Lonestar did it! They freed us from our timeshare!! For about the cost of 2 years worth of maintenance fees they were able to break our contract and release us from the timeshare we were pressured into purchasing through Bass Pro. It took less than a year, and the hardest part was finding a printer to be able to send documents in. Two thumbs way up to this awesome company!!
