Excellent service. Was a bit skeptical when I saw the “under new management” on the door. Salon itself is a bit outdated but my facial with Lily was superb. Best facial I’ve had a in a long time. Her 20 plus years of experience are evident. Will definitely return monthly. Prices are even better. So pleasantly surprised.

Good clean Salon. I love their British accents!! Service staff were very polite and helpful. Went in for a deep tissue massage and got my hair done there. Will be visiting again soon.

Around the holidays, my daughter and I get our hair highlighted and cut here by Marie. She has always done an excellent job. She keeps up with the latest trends to style our hair. My daughter- a typical difficult-to-please teenager- loves her glamorous new looks. And I, absolutely love my neat, professional hair cut. After trying so many salons, Marie here is the best!

I have been going to Magnolias Salon and Spa since it opened over a decade ago. They did my nails and hair for prom in 2002 and did my hair and nails for my wedding in 2015. Everyone who works there is so welcoming and kind. I love this place and wouldnt want to go anywhere else. They offer discounts Punch cards as well and often have promotional events. They offer hair services for men and women. They offer a variety of spa services as far as massages and facials and make up services as well. I highly recommend them;

This place is awesome! I got a 90 minute Swedish Massage with the masseuse, Lily. She and the other employees were also very friendly and lovely to talk to. It was extremely relaxing and refreshing. I also had a mini-pedicure here which was also done very well as I sat in a comfortable massage chair. I would highly recommend this place!

I had my hair trimmed and I got a perm too. But I ended up getting a massage as well, since I saw quite a number of people leaving the massage rooms looking happy and relaxed. It turned out to be a very pleasant experience I am sure to do again.

The atmosphere at the spa was soothing and relaxing to say the least. I got a top-class hair trim while there, and all the staff were extremely friendly and approachable. I highly recommend this spa to anyone who is interested in a remedy for work stress or who’s just trying to ease their troubles away. Yo won’t regret it! 

I brought my Godmother there for years never paid attention to the charges. She got sick 93years old. So the manicurist came to her appartment and after she had left I saw how much she charged. 130 for a nail clipping and a trim. Marie should be ashamed of herself. She pasted away 2 months ago. Never trust them again.

This is a wonderful place to get a facial, massage, and completely relax. The staff is friendly and its one stop shop for everything. The lights are dimmed in the spa area and you feel like youve stepped into a Zen monastery. You can leave all your stress at door. I enjoyed a fantastic deep tissue massage by Linda and received a hot stone treatment at the end. She managed to relax my knots and trigger points without inflicting pain. Right after I enjoyed the Magnolia Signature facial by Lily and equally amazing experience which included getting a back and arm massage.

I stumbled upon this place after grocery shopping across the street and decided to treat myself to a spa day, and I loved it! The staff were exceptionally friendly and very professional, and the atmosphere was nice and soothing. The place is really cute. I got French tips done by Marie, who also gave a short, free massage while my nails were drying and a hair cut by Rozik (spelling?). I was very happy with both my services (and thrilled I got a free massage!). Its a bit pricey but the price is pretty comparable to some other high-end salons and the level of service I got was definitely worth it!

I have been going here for 10 years for whirlpool pedicures. My wife recommended it because I had ingrown toenail problems. Marie has fixed that and I had no problems since I started going to her for pedicures. She has also recommended Marie to several friends and they have all been very happy with the result.I have various orthopedic problems that a regular massage help. In the last three years I have had massages from ten different women. Linda at Magnolia is by far the best I have tried. I now go to her weekly and am very pleased with the result.

I was excited to treat myself to a nice haircut but found my experience was not up to par with a $55 cut. First, the woman who cut my hair didnt test the temperature of the water when she wet my hair and used cold water on my scalp which was uncomfortable. Then she rushed very fast through my haircut. The cut wasnt bad, but Ive had much better experiences at places that charge less than half the price for a haircut. I wont be returning.

What a great experience! I decided to surprise my girlfriend with 90 minute massages and mini pedicures for the two of us. Marie gave me my deep tissue massage and the pedicure. I feel amazing!

The owner of the salon, Marie is mistreating her staff. My daughter has worked there for about a year. The owner has recently interrogated my daughter about whether or not she was getting waxed by another staff at her home. My daughters answer was no but Marie kept asking her many personal questions, asking her questions like: Who does your wax then? why dont you have ingrown then? while touching her legs with out her permission which made my daughter very uncomfortable. Marie even asked her to show her underarm and on and on. My daughter was very upset and she didnt know what to do.Marie Practically harassed my daughter verbally, physically and mentally.I called Marie the same night and left a voice mail for her complaining about the situation and at the end left my phone # to give her a chance to call and correct the situation but she hasnt contacted me yet. I am getting advise on file a complaint against her.Of course my daughter has quit her job the same night.Concerned Mom

Did my hair. Changed the overall look and wanted it waive but suggested frizzy hair out treatment which was too expensive and out come to the price was not at all good. Was not happy at all. Too pricey and no good hair treatment and changes the look entirely. They pretty much do whatever they want instead of understanding the needs of customer

Manicures and pedicures are the best Ive had in Montgomery County. Lily gives a true facial. The staff is terrific.

My dear friend, Peri, worked for this salon. She recently quit, and though she was supposed to have been paid already for the pay period of May 8th - May 20th, the owner is holding her pay (supposedly until tomorrow) when they should “talk.” Peri has pleaded for her pay since she quit, and is nearly in dire straits. I pray that this business will do right by her, as it took my son (a former shampooer under this same ownership) multiple attempts to collect money owed to him. He finally gave up after asking for his last check several times. He still lives at home and can afford that answer; unfortunately, Peri cannot.

I called to make an appointment, only to find out that the person whom I have been with since the salon opened (plus about 12 years prior) was no longer working there. I was unsure as to why and figured they wouldnt be able to share, but I asked anyways. When I did, the woman on the phone shared more than necessary and spoke so poorly of the woman who had been doing my services for 20+ years, I thought she was confused with whom I had asked about! VERY unprofessional! I think this place has really gone downhill since the new owner took over. I doubt it will last more than a few years.

Last week was first time to do my nail and the lady, Lyly, was so so nice to me. She did not only do my nails but also taught me howto protect my nails. Overall I was very happy with my manicure and I will introdue my friends to her.

The place looks good, the manager/owner is lovely and also the girls that work there. Unfortunately, my experience there was TERRIBLE!!! I went there to get my hair dyed for the first time and since I did not know how to explain what I wanted, I showed the lady that was going to do my hair (Rozik) what I wanted. The picture was clear: it was a light blonde hair with a lot of dimension in it and not entirely colored on the roots. My hair ended up having only one shade of blonde (kind of brassy) and it had a line separating my natural color (roots) from the rest of it. When I came back for her to fix it (twice) she talked like it was my fault and disrespected me saying that in all her experience she never had to listen to what a girl had to say. That was offensive and unprofessional and also not the only rude thing she said to me. I appreciate the actions of the manager and her fixing my hair, I thank them for that.

Lily gives a GREAT facial. She also does a good pedicure overall and the chairs are amazing, but I do have to sluff dead skin on my own. Marie as a massage therapist is poor. She either bruises you or you feel like you didnt get a message (two tries with two types of massages purchased). The male massage therapist, Dainus (sp?) should be reported to the state of Maryland for either careless draping or borderline sexual assault. Seriously, dont turn me on my side with my head facing your crotch or lift my leg into an aerobic position where I can feel air directly on private parts. Id hoped to have found the spa of my dreams, but I think not.

Very good! Marie is a wonderful masseuse.
