The team was professional and thorough with their explanations. However, even after three visits, and an explicit request + payment for a bumper to bumper inspection, they missed some critical details. Some of these details unfortunately popped up on my drive West, 3000 miles from home. They missed both a poorly retrofitted fuel injector line, and the improperly seated turbo which was the primary cause of a perpetual whistling, something I had asked to have diagnosed all three times.In Utah, plumes of smoke arose from the engine - upon calling them for at least some assistance or guidance from afar, they refused to even lend a single opinion. I then called two other qualified mechanics who were kind enough to help me diagnose the issue from a thousand miles away.If you have a Sprinter van, I unfortunately wouldnt recommend these folks. Spent nearly $4k here, only to find a qualified sprinter mechanic whos resolving most of these undiagnosed issues now.

I have a 07 Mustang GT, It was making a grinding noise, I took this car to three different places and every time I was told nothing wrong with it. I then took it to Marv & Mikes I explained what was going on. They knew exactly what was happing. The entire staff from start to finish was great. The repair was quick and Im back on the road. My poor Mrs Daisy (2002 Ford Expedition w/210,000+ mi) needed emergency surgery. My transmission gave out. I was referred to Marv & Mikes through USAA. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile and great professional attitude. They were straight forward and upfront (No Bullshit) just the hard facts and truth. They gave me the estimate, which was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than other places. YES!!! COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS CHEAPER!!! They even called me to inform me of the progress being made, if there were any complications or parts that might need to be purchased. I have ZERO complaints. I am thoroughly satisfied with their service and trust me I never give a five star rating. Marv & Mikes has my business as long as the Army keeps me in Maryland.

Towed in on Saturday night, rolled out on time Wednesday morning. Broke a transmission cable on my Jeep, fixed it up and running. Nice Team. Ill be bringing my other cars for maintenence too.

If youve never tried Marv and Mikes for auto repair etc. Youre in for a real treat. Ive been taking my cars to them for 40 years with excellent results. I wouldnt go anywhere else. They are extremely competent and very reasonable. They even correctly diagnosed and fixed a complex issue this year on my 1989 Oldsmobile. Rick, the owner, is great and a real pleasure to work with. They recently expanded the shop to a new and bigger location next door, which is truly beautiful. You must give them a try!

Marc and Mike’s not only do great work. They are honest! Yep, you read correctly.I asked for several services to be performed on my vehicle. I latter got a call from Rick letting me know that I did not need to do one of those. Any place I have been before they do the service anyway, hey you told us to, not at Marv and Mike’s!I highly recommend them. The replaces a transmission for me in my old vehicle. It ran like new with 252k! I sold it to a guy with a tow company and he gushed about how well cared for the vehicle was.

Overpriced and overrated service, similar to dealership service departments. Do not waste your time and money with this business.

All repairs were done very professionally, but the amount of time taken to do the repairs was a little long. When someone schedules a time to bring in their car for repairs, one would think that parts could be ordered prior to that scheduled day so that the repair does not take two days to complete. Lucky for me that it was not an inconvenience but it could be for other people.

Had front brakes serviced and new drive belt on my Honda. Beautiful work. Particularly liked the lug nuts were not over tightened.

Marv & Mikes Transmission and Auto Repair Were Terrific. They took my car in to see why it had stopped running. I had thought it was the transmission, but it turned out that it was not the transmission, which was a great relief to me. So they checked every possible unit in the car, replace spark plugs, oil, battery, and so on, and still couldnt find what was wrong with it. They evfen called the Nissan dealership to try to brainstorm with them to find the problem. NOTHING. They finally found the problem, which was in the Gas Tank. Unfortunately, they believe I put diesel gas i nthe tank which corroded the interior and ruined my gas tank. It stopped the car completely. That is the laymans way of saying it. They cleaned it out and thank god it was good as new. Thanks to them I had my car brought back within 4 days. Nothing since. Thanks Rick, Kris

Cant say enough about this place. Honest, smart, reliable, and dang good at fixing cars. To top it off, Rick (the boss) gives you a small lecture on what was wrong your vehicle and what they did to it at the end of every service visit. Last, but not least, their prices are reasonable.

I love going to Marv and Mike’s everytime I have a car issue. My sequoia had an incredible amount of work that needed to be done to it after a car accident from last year. They fixed everything in an appropriate amount of time and always stayed in communication with me. With the list of problems my car had I was very happy the customer service, price, service and time. I always appreciate their business everytime. I’ll definitely be going back again.

Not the first time I have posted a review about Marv & Mikes. As usual they are consistent with their excellent service. Rick and his staff are what you need to lessen the worry about anything going on with your car. There are 2 things one must have, a great doctor and a great mechanic. I can honestly say ive got the second one covered, but the first one is an ongoing process.

Great shop to work with. They have never tried to sell me more work than I need, and they provide excellent advice on what is needed vs what can be put off for a bit. Ive even had a couple of emergencies where I called, drove in, and dropped the car and theyve looked at it by the end of business and finished repairs the next day. Absolutely terrific.

Had a good experience at Mike & Marvs. Diagnosed the problem I was having with the transmission & fixed it promptly. I have an old car and he was easy to talk with about the pro & cons of doing additional repairs, which I decided to postpone for now.
