Sopas Tree Service is one of the best. I have used them a number of times. My latest after a tornado damaged a 45 year old maple that was partially on my house. Tony and his crew are fast, efficient and easy to work with. When the job is done, they clean up the entire area. Tony is an arborist and helped save this very tree many years ago. As it is said, you get what you pay for! They are simply terrific!

They did a beautiful job with my tree line at a reasonable price. I have no personal relationship with the owner but he carefully chose and donated a tree to a playground in honor of a very special teacher. He didnt know the teacher but did this out of pure kindness when we asked about an available tree we might be able to purchase for this special project. Great professional service. We had extensive damage with trees uprooted, limbs torn off, etc. from the tornado that went through our area. Tony gave us a clear written estimate of work to be done and his crew did a wonderful job of removing trees, cutting damaged limbs, and removing stumps and all the debris. His equipment and workers were impressive! Would definitely hire him again.

Ive contacted two other tree services in the past for various jobs, always having to leave a voicemail. Neither of them have ever returned a call. Having used Soppas before, I called them again recently for an estimate on trimming five overgrown, dense trees in my parkway. As usual, I was able to speak to an actual person. And although I understand this will not always be possible, on that particular day Tony was able to come by my house about an hour after my call to discuss the job.Tony is always professional, courteous and willingly offers his input on the job. While Im sure he would ultimately do exactly what a customer asks for, we instead had a great conversation about the best way (and the best timing) to achieve the result I was looking for.I received a very fair quote shortly after that and scheduled the job. In the meantime, my wife and I decided we wanted a tree on our property removed. I was able to add this to the work order with just a quick email to Tony.The Soppas crew did a great job trimming our trees, clearing out unnecessary branches and raising the ground clearance of all the trees. We now have a significantly improved view of, and from, our house. They cleaned up so well you would have no idea they were even there. I couldnt be more pleased with the results.Tony and his team are definitely our go-to for any tree needs in the future.

They have no heart and no consideration for the small jobs or the local residents. Theyre more interested in the big time money jobs comed, or whatever ! This place is a complete waist of time never came to trim my tree, but gave an estimate ! And theyre forever calling back, and dont answer the phone . I could never get them to do the work for the estimate . Im very disappointed with them and upset ! They said they come if i schedule only thru e-mail ! All this just to trim down two little trees would take them 6 weeks ! They have a big ego and everyone part of this is big headed. They have to make theyre big time comed money.

He assessed my property and showed me areas that needed to come down that I hadnt even noticed. He is very knowledgeable about all kinds of trees and gave me good advice on how to keep the weed trees from growing back.The crew was wonderful! They shaped my big trees so beautifully! Soppa was one of three tree service providers to bid on my dicey job due to multiple trees next to the house, they came in substantially lower and their professionalism was unmatched. The job was completed on the agreed upon date and they left the job as good or cleaner than they found it...very much appreciated. For my money I would use them again and refer them to friends and family.

Cut our downed tree, then left the uprooted stump that was at least 1 tall above the base. Called back to have them just remove the entire tree as the stump was uprooted. Owner said that there was nothing he could do about it, made up an excuse about why it didnt get done right in the first place.We got a second opinion from a reputable landscape architect on the uprooted stump. Sure enough, they told us that the owner was probably making up an excuse not to finish the job properly. Felt like he was very rude and very poor customer service.
