Worst customer service experience EVER received in my life. Called from practically opening to closing time and every single time I called I was placed on hold for 20+ mins and no one ever returned, called back and it was a cycle of calling being placed on hold and never being serviced. Not to mention the guy on the phone told me come in or go somewhere else because he was trying to get something as simple as a quote and never could. Sad case of service and he claimed to be the owner.
Very busy place apparently so while it felt rushed, it was kinda a good thing and the staff was very friendly and efficient.
The process was extremely fast. But the customer service lacked a LOT. We felt like an inconvenience. And when they told us it would be $40-$44 to rent a car they actually gave us a larger car and charged us $60.
Same day pickup available, it has lockbox with a code sent to your phone for after hours rent.

Rented a car from Value Plus Auto. I needed inexpensive transportation while my truck was being repaired. They came through with a Chevy spark for $20/day

I rented a 26ft truck on 10/26/19. The truck leaked water all over my belongings. My furniture is ruined. I paid for extra insurance so I asked what they were going to do about fixing what happened. I was told they couldnt do anything because they are merely an authorized dealer. I was charged full price and given the number for the field manager who wouldnt be available until Monday morning, October 28th. When I explained that we still needed another truck to finish our move, I was informed I had to pay for another truck and then ask (hope) for a refund. When I asked what else could be done on a Sunday, I was told to go to the corporate store in Loves Park, IL. The corporate store told me they cant help me either and that I had to file a claim. I asked if they were open to file it today and he said yes. They werent! I spoke to someone who informed me that I couldnt file a claim until Monday morning. The kicker was that she said she would take the necessary steps to request a refund from the State Street rental place who refused to refund me! If she could have refunded me all along, why did I have to do all this running around and calling other numbers? This is ridiculous! Now we cant find a truck to rent to get the rest of our stuff because its a Sunday and everything is rented! Uhaul is an awful company all around! I would recommend Budget or Penske for your move!
