Comfort 1st did whole home insulation for us. Over 2 days they removed the old and installed new insulation in my attic, basement and ceiling, and sealed up windows and doors. The owner communicated with me each day and let me know what to expect, and the working crew were very professional and worked quickly. They troubleshooted problems with me and worked to find solutions. They were respectful of our home and property. They even took care to make sure my dogs were inside when it was going to rain!We have already noticed a huge improvement during the summer heat, and expect winters to be nice and cozy. This company sprayfoamed my crawlspace and insulated my attic with cellulose. The first month after having the insulation done my energy usage went down 62 percent. I find it difficult to express my gratitude to the Comfort 1st team that insulated our home on the third of May. They arrived on time and ready to work. We were introduced to the team; did a walk through with Trae; we were asked if we had any questions.Comfort 1st had to go through our bedroom window for the removal of insulation batting and for the blow in insulation. My flowers were blooming and I didnt want anything to happen to my garden. I had nothing to worry about. The team protected my garden via a ladder. They worked cautiously and managed to get their work done without taking out any of my plants!The installation team worked tirelessly. The work never stopped. Never. The team was polite as I inundated them with questions (as they worked). They kept us informed and updated as the work progressed. Our home was treated with respect and kept as clean as possible. (You were right. This is a messy process) But it took no time to finish cleaning up after your team left.Our home is much quieter, and more comfortable than I expected. In 16 years of living here I never considered that our comfort level, our energy usage was tied to the poor insulation in the attic and the cracks, openings and holes of our basement. (I didnt realize there were so many) Our basement is 4 degrees warmer! Our energy usage in our home has gone down precipitously already. I bought this house 3 years ago and quickly realized my attic and area over the garage needed more insulation. I called Comfort 1st insulation and they came out and gave me a reasonable bid. We were extremely pleased with Comfort 1st Insulation from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was extremely helpful and cordial. We had insulation blown around the exterior of our basement to make it warmer. We also had a mice issue so this has kept the mice out as well. They stuffed steel wool around the exterior of the siding to prevent any more mice from entering. The install was outstanding. They did all the prep work and we didnt even have to move stuff out of the way. They did that for us. After the install they cleaned up better than when they started. I would highly recommend them if you planning on having insulation done.

We were very happy with the professionalism of the crew from Comfort 1st insulation last week when they insulated the outside walls of our kitchen and air coming in from the roofline. We purchased a cape cod style home this year. After living here for the summer we found that the upstairs was extremely uncomfortable and would not cool down. As it began getting into fall time the upstairs was 10 to 12 degrees colder than the rest of the house. We suspected the insulation wasnt done very well in the attic. After doing some research we found that cape cod style homes are notorious for this problem and can be very hard to properly insulate. It made us very nervous as our kids rooms are upstairs. Mike from Confirm 1st came out and took a look and explained that there were many problems with the way the attic had been insulated. He assured us that he could fix it for us and our children would be able to be comfortable in their rooms. He sent his crew out and they installed batting and blown in cellulose. They also airsealed all the floor joists and around any vents, light fixture and outlets. After a couple weeks it didnt seem like there was much improvement so we called Mike back. He came out and took a look and realized his crew had made some mistakes. He spent the entire day personally fixing it. I was nervous that because they had to spend much more time than they quoted that our bill would be larger. In fact he gave us a discount. It is like night and day the difference it has made in our home. I am thrilled with the work and the improvement. Mike and comfort 1st stood by their work and made it right. I was present when comfort 1st insulation did an energy audit of my aunts home. They were very thorough and professional. And they provided great information to help her save money this winter and for years to come.

Mike answered my call quickly and came right out to give his estimate. He had a very professional team. Very thorough and did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. I had them insulate the room above the garage, but plan on having them back to do the main part of the attic -if I can ever get it cleaned out.

After reaching out to several insulation companies for insulating our very under insulated attic, I was on the fence on making it a DIY project. Im glad I reached out to Mike and Comfort 1st. Very friendly and professional, Mike came to give us a quote and was very thorough and explained his approach and process on addressing our attic problems. He also was nice enough to help test and investigate why our newly installed master bath fan and duct work wasnt working as it should, and he discovered that bird nesting debris was blocking the airflow and helped us clear it out. I dont know of many companies that would take the time during a quote to help investigate and correct an issue. We decided the work they would do; air sealing the attic, boxing the can lights, improving the attic ventilation and making sure it was done right was worth the investment. Mikes crew was just as friendly and professional as he was, and did a great job. They left the house as clean as when they arrived. My wife already notices a difference in how warm the upstairs feels with the added insulation. They did it right and we are very pleased.
