Very timely, kind, fast and honest about any other repairs would be better to buy a new washer and fortunately not needed this time.
My husband and I have a washer in which needed repair. We called all over the Rockford area. Nobody was able to help with the “bearing issue” we had. We got in touch with Sam from Appliance Repair Pros. We told him our issue and scheduled for the “bearing kit” arrive. Since mail delivery is all displaced during this pandemic, we weren’t 100% about the date the kit was supposed to arrive. Sam kept in contact throughout the week, and eventually came the very next day, and fixed our bearing! Payment was quick and easy and was given a full receipt of work that was done!Thanks Sam! I called for washing machine not working. Sam was able to check it out in 2 days time and ordered the part which came 2 days later. He installed the part quickly and on time. Happy to have my washer working again!!

Our refrigerator just up and stopped working on a Saturday. We reached out to Sam after trying to contact a few other companies who either couldn’t come out for days or didn’t answer the call at all. Sam came that evening between the hours he said he would and diagnosed the issue within 20 minutes. He told us he would probably be able to get the part and be able to come back and fix it that Tuesday or Wednesday. He called us Monday and told us he would be there that evening! Fixed it within 15 mins and had it up and running...reasonably priced, much better then paying ~2500 for a new fridge like the one we had. Highly recommend! Will definitely be using again if we have any other appliance issues!
Such a great experience! I have Samsung appliances and after many calls, Sam was the only one able to service them. On a Saturday night, over the phone, he walked me through what to do with my broken fridge/freezer until he arrived. You will not find that type of service anywhere else. He is very transparent with cost and timing, and that does NOT change once he arrives to do the actual service, which is so refreshing! Can not recommend enough!!!

GREAT SERVICE FROM A LOCALY OWNED COMPANY. I cant say enough how nice it was to talk to a service company that actually cared about what was going on in my home.. So So many companies have no interest in there customers. Sam was very different he made time for me even though he was overbooked, to make sure my refrigerator was fixed

Our warranty company contacted this company and Sam Ketelsen responded on July 1, 2020. He was very nice but in an attempt to pull the stove from the wall using the oven handle he broke it. He said he would repair it. He sent in an estimate of over $450 including the repair of the oven handle. We had to pay him $60 for the evaluation. The insurance company said they would only pay $150 since we had the policy for less than 3 months but the oven door handle would not be covered under our policy. This is where the problem began. Neither the insurance company or I could reach Sam Ketelsen on his cell phone or business phone until Friday, August 7, 2020. He finally answered me on his cell and explained that his mother was in serious condition in Madison, Wisconsin and that he had been with her all this time. He said he had over 70 voicemails to return and he made an appointment to come to the house on Tuesday, August 11 between 4 and 7pm. He also said the one part I wanted replaced was no longer available and he had an idea how to fix the handle. I called the insurance company and told them about his situation and they removed him for there naughty list. At 8pm on the 11th, after he did not show up I called his cell and he said he had it scheduled for Wednesday, the 12th at the same time. I was pretty sure that wasnt correct since I had guests coming for dinner that night and wouldnt have scheduled anything during that time slot let along repairing the oven. By 8pm Wednesday, after he did not show up I called his cell phone with and left a message. On Thursday I called the insurance company and told them it was their responsibility to help me since they were the ones that sent Rockford Appliance Repair Pros to do the repairs. I told them that our son was a mechanic and if they would allow me to order the parts directly from Maytag he would do the work. They agreed and apologized sincerely for having us in this situation for now 1 1/2 months. I still havent heard from Sam Ketelsen and I sincerely hope this was all a problem with his family and not what it appears to be. We received the parts today and my husband and our son completed the repairs. I cant tell you how disappointed I am about this. I dont like having to write this kind of a review. I would positively NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
