I dont know how Google Maps knows I had a Estimate done through Dan Fulmer. No privacy at all anymore. Sick of my privacy being invaded by Social Media and Google. Anyway, Dan Fulmer has been a Rochester, New York household name for years. I remember them when I was 8 and seeing the Vehicles pulling out the parking lot on Dewey Avenue. Lets just say this, for the same Project. I had 4 (four) estimates done. Dan Fulmer was cheaper by 3-8 Thousand Dollars. I have one more estimate to do. I will be going by Experience and Longevity to the Community. Reviews are sold bought on Google. Whom I have been disliking in recent months. I will be going with the lowest estimate with my communitys reviews. I know a few people that had work done by Dan Fulmer and I like what I saw. The Proof is in the Pudding. I felt comfortable with Fumer representative who came out and feel he gave me an honest estimate over others who have given one.

Watching my neighbors have two exterior doors replaced. 2 guys Alllllll day am genuinely surprised how many breaks they take. If they werent on break most of the time they could do twice the work at least leave early since its Friday.

UPDATE to comments below:Was promised by owner AGAIN that the gutter person would contact me that aft or the next day “when he sees him”. Wouldn’t the owner CALL the person himself? No. Waited 4 days....still no call or message. I called this person myself and left a message. Still no response.Very difficult company to deal with.We had gutters installed well over a year ago, and when it rains water streams out from the underside in large areas of the gutter span, both front and back. I have called many, many times and finally was promised someone would come out. He never showed up. I called, with no apology for the Day I waited for him. Promised he’d be out on the following Tuesday..no show again. I called him myself, and he said he had come THE DAY BEFORE. again, no call to tell me, no apology. He was extremely rude. Instead he blamed my gutter cleaning company, whom I have every spring and fall. We removed the small amount of leaves from the 2 months since the cleaning, ran water on the roof and still the same problem.They blame everyone else, instead of finding out what’s wrong. I paid them to replace the fascia boards where needed, and fear the water is running between the boards and gutter and will rot the new fascia boards.This has been an ongoing nightmare with this company. When even the owner is in no hurry to remedy the situation, there is a big problem!

We had Dan Fulmer Construction replace our gutters in late April 2018. The experience was nothing less than flawless! They arrived early to every appointment we had (from planning, to signing contract, to actual construction work), with courtesy phone calls to confirm it was OK. Paul was friendly and knowledgeable, and the actual gutters they were able to install for us were top notch. The workers that day were in and out in a matter of a couple of hours. We will definitely consider Dan Fulmer Construction in the future!

Roof installation May 2018, started leaking in April 2020. Contacted Jim May 1st and was told a work order was put in. After two weeks of no contact, we called again. They told us they would be out to look at the problem. After a week we called a third time and was told they would call us back. They never did, even after calling two more times. Had two different roofing companies out to look at the issue and both said the installation was done poorly and incorrectly.

From the first phone call and working with Jim Macaluso for the estimate and the techs that installed the window it was an excellent experience. Will use again and recommend to others.

Dan Fulmer came to my house in surveyed my problem with my siding and handle the whole claim right up to the insurance adjuster and I did have to do nothing they took the time to take care of everything and insurance adjuster theres only going to pay for one square which would have never matched Dan Fulmer told him that the whole thing had to be done and you were only going to give me 1500 and they going to slide my whole side of my house and everythings going to match but I called them because the lady across the street at her house cited in the windows done and its perfect and I want my work to be perfect too thats why Im going to have Dan Fulmer do my work for me and I trust them theyre very professional I suggest going with Dan Fulmer get the job done correctly the first time

Im very happy with the outcome of my new roof. I still look at it like it was just put in. Dan Fulmer Construction did a great job, they were professional to work with from the time I signed them on the job until they finished. They cleaned up after themselves and left with all of the debris. Great job!

Update: Work was completed shortly after original review. Results were adequate.Still waiting for this over priced and over hyped contractor to show up for the first day of work.Got a quote a month ago to replace a gutter. Salesman said 2 weeks for work to be done. This cant be a 2hr job for a professional. Salesman has been giving different excuses ever since I accepted the quote. I could have taken a lower quote with a 6 week wait and been in better shape.By the way, BCB charges $15 to complain and $200 to inspect. Time to call the BBB.

A representative from Dan Fulmer Construction sat down with me directly and explained to me the entire process of replacing my roof. He was very knowledgeable of the products that theyd be using and didnt even discuss pricing and the estimate in the first meeting. It was a pleasant experience overall.

I made an initial appointment for gutter cleaning/roof inspection on a Saturday morning between 8-8:30am, and I was told the workers would give a were on our way phone call prior to then. At 9:30am I had not heard from the company nor seen anyone. When I called the office the receptionist had told me that the truck had left so they should be there soon. I asked if she could check in with the truck and she replied that she would and shed call me back with an update. I never heard back from the receptionist or the work crew and at 11:30am I left the house for the day. I never received a phone call or notice for the remainder of the day. The following business day (Monday 10:15AM) I called and asked to speak with a manager/supervisor to relay the weekend events. I spoke with Marc who said he would address my concerns. I explained the aforementioned and Marc said he would look into it and get back to me within the hour. At 4pm I still had not heard from Marc or anyone from the company. I will not be contacting Dan Fulmer construction again. I will not recommend their business to anyone. The situation is entirely unacceptable and disappointing.

We had (4) Vista Panarama Triple Pane Double Hung windows installed by Dan Fulmer Co. in 2017. This is a very solid second tier vinyl window. My job came out good and the windows seem to be good in the very cold weather we are having right now. It has been hanging around zero degrees with wind chill factors of -20 below zero for a few days now. It is brutally cold and very windy outside. I have to say, these windows work great. It has never been this comfortable in my home before we had these triple panes installed.As far as the Dan Fulmer Co. itself... beyond my suggesting they should look for more window suppliers than Vista Window Co. (so the customers have more options for even higher grade windows if wanted), they are pretty darn good. They do work with you to resolve any problems if there are any, so not to worry.Dan Fulmer DOES care and will make things right if they do have any problems or issues. They have integrity and to me THAT is the most important thing you can look for in a company.I will use Dan Fulmer again in the future. They do sell and install Sunrise Patio doors, which are rated very high. A member of my family just had one installed and she loves it.

Installed 14 replacement windows April 2016.They were on time, protected all floor surfaces and did an excellent job removing the old windows and installing the new. Minimal paint touch up was all that was required on interior wood work. The crew was polite, and well organized. Highly recommend this local firm of long standing

Our new architectural roof looks wonderful and is the envy of neighbors who have had 2 or even 3 other companies redo their roofs! With 6 foot of water and icing shield under the shingles,new gutters and blown-in insulation we no longer have ice dams or heat loss. They were friendly and efficient, professional and very patient with me and my questions.

Wind and rain tore my roof apart and there is a hole there. Call the insurance company, they tell us to get an estimate. My husband SWORE by Dan Fulmer Construction because he has a friend that works there. They did the estimate and said they would be out the next afternoon to put a tarp on our roof for the upcoming rain storm we are getting, YES, THATS 3 DAYS OF RAIN IN THE FORECAST! STILL NOBODY SHOWS UP! Call the number, the woman who answered said she would call my husband back....45 minutes later, still NO CALL BACK, he calls AGAIN and she answers and tells him you should get a call tomorrow! Yep, they definitely have an AMAZING BUSINESS OF IGNORING POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS! GREAT WORK GUYS.....We spent 2 days sitting at home waiting when we had other things to do.....how do you do business like this?UPDATE: here it is Monday and we are still waiting for them to call! Apparently this company is too busy for potential customers

After recently buying a new house, I called Dan Fulmer Co. to make some improvements. They were timely, professional and thoroughly courteous. The estimate was accurate, the price was fair and I am totally satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend the Fulmer Co. and would use them again in the future.

After one of the owners provided my mother (the owner of the house) with a rude and disinterested visit to provide an estimate for a repair to the roof, as well as an estimate for a complete re-roofing of a very large roof job, Rick LaReux did not email me the estimate as promised. He said he would email me the estimate by that evening or first thing the next morning. By Wednesday afternoon, I still had not heard anything, so I called the company and spoke with an individual who assured me that he or Rick would contact me that evening, even if it was nothing more than to tell me that I would have my estimate in the morning. It is now late Thursday morning and I have not heard a single word from the company. Unfortunately, this is not my first bad experience with the company. Every sales person that I have interacted with whether it be for a roof, gutters, or windows, have been rude and acted like they were doing me a favor by being there. Dan Fulmer company has become too big and has lost focus of its mission, to provide a service to its customers. This company not only lost a major roofing job but any future work on my homes and I will also be sure to tell about this experience to anyone in the Rochester area considering using them for work. My recommendation is to go down the street to J & J Construction. John, the owner, spent an hour with me going over options and gave me a very reasonable price.Update: Apparently, Dan Fulmer saw this and Rick emailed me. His email was appreciated along with his condescending remarks about how I was jumping to conclusions by not contacting them, even though I did. So, here I am updating the review, per his request. Customer service skills? NilI am forwarding my original emailed estimate to you from Monday 4/24. Apparently I sent it to the wrong address, as I was off by one number. I had not heard from you stating that you did not receive it yet. Normally if someone does not receive the quote, they contact me and make me aware, instead of jumping to conclusions. Apparently you wrote a bad review about your experience. Which is fine, if We purposely neglected to send you your estimate. It was a mistaken number in your email address that caused this situation. On May 10th 2019 my wife and I had them come over to give us a estimate for repairing or replaceing our roof. One guy did come out and look at it but he said that he needed to get the roofing manager out to look at it, he said that the manager would give us a call a be out to look at the roof that day. We didnt get a call and no one showed up. Same thing Monday. I called today may 14th talked to them to out what was going on. They said that they would call me back later. It is now 6:20pm no call. We are going to get estimates from someone else. We have chosen not to use them.

Your truck completely cut me off on Buffalo Rd in Gates, very rude. Then drove the shoulder passing multiple cars and almost ran a red light. As a contractor driving regularlyYou really need to share the road anf be respectful of others, esepcislly when driving a large commercial truck.

Quality work at a great price

BEWARE! NOT RELIABLE. My husband (D.Pistner) hired Dan Fulmers company to fix/replace the front section of our roof because it was leaking. They promised to replace the whole section and put in a rubber shield underneath to prevent future leaks. Here it is, 5 years after they fixed it and that same part of our roof is leaking again - but in different places - because Dan Fulmers guys took short cuts and didnt put in enough flashing on the edge that we expected/assumed - the part that WAS LEAKING. Thanks for nothing Dan Fulmer. We contacted them to come back and fix it, which they grudgingly did - but it took 4 months because they kept trying to say it wasnt their fault, said it was the gutters - which it was not. They hadnt removed the siding to put the flashing up under it. So we finally got them to fixed it and thought it was all set, EXCEPT this year -now its the other side leaking - so apparently they didnt put in the flashing on the other side either. If you go with this company you have to WATCH them every second to be sure they do what they are supposed to - not take short cuts. We have to have our roof redone again as well as redo our inside ceiling and walls - AGAIN. Mr. Fulmer said hed like to see what he could do - my husband sent an email a week ago detailing the situation but he has not responded.

Used lazy sub-contractors to fix a leaking roof. $7,000 later the roof leak is worse. Owner wont return our calls.
