If I could leave 0 stars I would. Very disappointed! Was recommended by Studio Bridesmaid. My bridesmaid dress was so botched, I had to rush it to another tailor, who I quote, said ‘this work is so shameful and disgraceful’.Upon my initial arrival, I tried my dress on that was massive on top. I could fit my whole fist down the front. The owner was heading out of town in a week but ensured me all would be well and the dress would be ready the day she left for vacation. The bride picked everyone’s up and we tried them on the next day in complete shock at how bad everything was. I am 1 of 3 people who have to now seek out someone else to fix 4 days before the wedding. I think the owner should have told us she didn’t have time before her trip rather than rush to complete in a sloppy manner completely screwing us over and out of money. Instead of taking in my dress, the top was tact in a sloppy way and was still so big. Even the pleats were all messed up and not straight. The new tailor I found said they only way to fix this was to take the whole dress in down the sides. Long story short, my dress (and two other bridesmaids) was not wearable after it Elegance Alterations.

She has fixed multiple gowns for me and now my maid of honor dress for my sisters wedding! She will do whatever alterations you ask for which is actually hard to find and even when I wanted a little more taken from the back she did it right there before I left! Then I wore the wrong bra when I tried on and realized the straps were a bit loose still so I went back and thought she would have no time being so last minute but she fixed the straps same day AND realized my button was missing a loop so added a loop for me too ! Cannot recommended her enough her work is fantastic and she is the sweetest person. Will take great care of you and your alteration HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Zamira was the best one i could find to make me my dream babyshower dress. I told her everything I wanna it to look fabulous in one of the most important days of my life . The dress turned out beautiful as you see in the pictures. She does high quality work. Listens to you and put all her work in what you ask. Will recommend to everyone i know. I recently had the bodice and sleeves of a dress altered. Excellent suggestions were made to resolve issues. The alterations were perfect. Price was very reasonable.

I recently ordered pants online and when I received them they were too long. I was hoping to wear them for Christmas but wasn’t sure if there would be enough time to get them altered. I called and Zamira said absolutely they could be done it time. I took them in on Friday and they were done by closing time. I am extremely impressed with her work and how quickly she was able to do it. On top of that her price was more than reasonable!

I called ahead of time to go over information about my wedding gown alterations. I am an out of state bride and the owner told me that, even with my restricted schedule of coming into town, my alterations could definitely be completed. However, I called back to confirm my appointment only to be told that it was out of the question and to seek business elsewhere. Thanks for nothing.

I order my wedding dress when it came in was a little tight took it to her to have it let out made a suggestion to change back to corset went to day to pick up my dress it is perfect couldnt have asked for better and price was very affordable

I needed a full length dress hemmed for a wedding on Saturday, I called Zamira on Thursday to see if she could help me out....she said no problem. I called 5 other places that turned me down, I get it, this is a very busy time of year for fittings. The hem which included cutting off a sweep train, was perfect! Zamira was so nice and helpful, at a last minutes notice, she had my dress ready for the wedding. Shes in a great location in downtown Rochester and her prices are very reasonable. I will definitely use her again and refer my family and friends to use her service.

Best seamstress in Rochester!! One of my dresses was previously ruined by a different alteration shop. I thought that there was no way back to fix it but then I came across “elegance alterations”. Zamira is THE BEST. She was able to fix the impossible, I’m very satisfied, I’m definitely going to return for future needs.

I needed a bridesmaids dress altered for a wedding that was only 1 week away and Zamira understood my urgency and was able to give me just what I needed within a perfect time frame! My dress fit perfectly and I was so happy with the result, the price, and the quality of work. I know she will be my go-to from now on!!!

Im 9 months (37 weeks) pregnant and agreed to stand up in one of my best friends weddings. Of course I had to wait last minute to get my dress altered, and may have waited a little too last minute. The wedding was on a Saturday, but we has to leave Friday to make it up north to the venue for rehearsal. I dropped my dress off on Wednesday to see if Zamira could work her magic. The dress itself barely had any extra fabric to take out. So Zamira figured out a way to pull the fabric up instead of out in order for the dress to fit me properly, and saved on hemming it! The dress was ready for pick up on Friday afternoon and she made a quick alteration on the back button after I stopped in to try it on and pick it up. She saved me and my dress in the knick of time!! And the price was very affordable for what she had to do, not to mention how quick she was able to get it done despite being super busy. Thank you Zamira so much!! I will be recommending anyone who needs alterations to her! (Side note, when I went to drop the dress off, there was another lady there doing a fitting for a couple of her dresses who was also VERY pleased with Zamiras work).
