I recently bought a 2017 Toyota Tacoma from First City. My experience with them was fantastic. With traditional dealerships the sales reps will run right up to you, explain everything about the car before you can even look at it, and then ask “so, you want to take it for a ride?” Meanwhile you’ve just experienced whiplash and need to walk away. With First City they understand that folks sometimes just want to “look” at a vehicle without any pressure and to take their time with the car. The attendants on the lot come over and let you know that they are available if you need any help or have any questions and then they give you your space to look at cars.I had gone to look at mid size trucks and they showed me what was available, answered any questions I had about the vehicles, and let me drive them on my own so that I could determine which truck would fit my personal needs. After test driving several vehicles I had gotten the contact information of Micah and went home to think about my decision of which truck I like the best. I then went to look at other mid sized trucks at other dealerships and was called and emailed repeatedly from every dealership but First City. First City called me once to let me know that they were there if I had any questions or wanted to do more test drives and then let me have my space. After a week I emailed Micah at First City and asked for a car fax on the Toyota. Micah sent the report over right away. I then went to the dealership later that day and was greeted by Micah. I asked if I could drive the Toyota again. When I got back from the test drive I Informed Micah that I would like to purchase the vehicle and wanted to trade in my car. Anthony at First City took my car for a test drive and evaluated it for the best price. First City beat out Ford for my trade and gave me more than what I was expecting. By the time we were purchasing the vehicle it was after closing time. Anthony, Micah, and Bryce all stayed late so that I could drive home in my new truck. Before handing the Tacoma over to me they took the time to clean and detail the vehicle while I was working on the paperwork. That night I brought the truck home. Later that week I was driving the truck in a rainstorm an noticed that there was a leak coming in through the roof of the truck. I brought the car over to First City and spoke to Micah about the leak. He went out with me and looked at the truck and found that the gasket to the windshield was coming away from the room which was probably causing the leak. He said that they would make it right informed Anthony of the issue. Anthony then asked for me to take the vehicle to Granite State Glass to get the leak evaluated. When I brought the truck to Granite State they evaluated the car and replaced the windshield at no cost to me.First City was really great to work with. They really strive to put the customer first and make sure that the experience was pleasant and stress free. I would highly recommend them to buy your next vehicle. I have to say that was the most transparent and easiest car buying experience Ive ever had. From the moment we walked in they treated us like family. First things first. I recommend First City to anyone looking for an honest and upfront organization.I found a car on one of the websites and reached out for some information. Micah answered the phone and was pleasant and professional from the start. I contacted him three more times before I made the 200+ mile drive to inspect and test drive the vehicle, he was patient and helpful all the way through. When I drove the car and decided to purchase it, Anthony was clear about the process and kept everything very simple. I was offered a fair deal for my trade and I did not feel pressured at any point. It was a pleasure doing business with such an accommodating crew and they will be on my list when its time for another vehicle.

HORRIBLE.For starters I have bad credit I was honest from day one when I applied online. I had a representative reach out to me via text from Amanda asking me about my trade and what I could put down. I was talking to her for about a week before I came in. Made an appointment with Bryce. I show up to my appointment expecting to see the car I originally inquired about - was then told that it sold the day prior, I completely understand that. It’s a dealership it’s going to happen. So Bryce asks me what I’m looking for - I explain I have two kids and just need a good space for leg room in the back - he puts me in a Ford Focus. At that point I say I probably need an SUV as there wasn’t enough room - he literally looks over and goes this one is great I’d get it myself but no third row. Took it for a spin wasn’t in love, so I looked online and found a car took that one out. Got back and the car was just dirty. So I asked to see one more - saw a Jeep, loved how it drove and everything so I asked to try to finance that one. We started the process - he then asked me if I had the $1000 down I said I could do. I did - he ran my card THEN tells it may be a day or two before I hear anything. Which is understandable cause it was a Sunday but I wish he would’ve said that prior to swiping my card. Anyway I call on Monday and speak with someone who tells me Bryce just went to do a car swap and would give a call back - SURPRISE he didn’t. He emailed me saying he didn’t have my number (then how was I texting someone prior to coming in) and told me there was no news. So I call Tuesday, I speak with Micah who tells me that Bryce is off for the day, but he believes there is no progress - I asked if someone could tell me how much longer anything he said no one in finance was available, that he would call the manager and have him call me back, because the manager is was home sick. SURPRISE the manager didn’t call me back - Micah did telling me to call Bryce the next day. So Wednesday I sent an email - still nothing, no yes or no. Even looked on my credit and nothing. So I wrote a review on Facebook expressing my frustrations - and the owner Rick writes back that I can call back in and get my deposit while they continue to work on it. So here we are today (Friday) I emailed Bryce to see if anything happened was told no - so then I called in to get my refund. Then was told that if I didn’t take down my review that they wouldn’t help me anymore. And that Rick the owner would call me. Okay - Rick calls me and tells me that he got an approval I would just need $3000 down - I ask him how long it took him to get that approved he said oh about 30 minutes. Then why did it take me five days and a bad review for that to happen. Mhm seems like it could’ve been done on Monday. If they had told me that Monday I would have said okay let’s do it. But here we are it took a bad review for them to do anything at all.

Been shopping my local for a good minute looking for a good used truck at a good price. Thanks to FB Marketplace, I spotted a 2012 Ram Sport. Made a call and talked to Micah (sorry if Im misspelling your name). He was a pleasure to talk to and hooked me up with everything my bank needed to get things rolling. Two hours later I roll up to a great looking lot, and a great looking Ram parked near the entrance. Fast and courteous service had me driving away on my 2012 Ram Sport and it felt great.Overall it was a great experience with helpful staff and well worth my drive. I would highly recommend anyone to give them a look. Thanks to everyone at First City for making this a great purchase. Ill definitely be going back for any future vehicle needs.

Buyer beware! They will force you to buy a warranty, claiming your deposit will go up if you dont. My car had a significant problem with the 4x4 system days after it was purchased, 4 months later still the same problem, I had mentioned that the brakes where soft when i test drove it.The jeep did not have a sticker on it when i drove it. I assumed that when it came back ready for me to pick up that the brakes would be ok since they put a sticker on it. Two weeks later the front pads and rotors had to be replaced at my cost. After sale customer service is terrible. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here.

A while ago I purchased a 2013 Kia soul from this dealership. I waited a while to be sure that the car purchased was acceptable. After a year I have to say this has been the best car purchase I ever made. the sales experience at the time was fantastic and they even stayed open a half an hour late for me to get there. when I arrived they had pulled a few cars around for me to look at and I didnt feel rushed at all even though it was past closing time. There was very personable service and I felt appreciated as a customer. After my purchase getting my inspection sticker was painless and Ive been very satisfied with my experience there.

Do not EVER buy a car from this place. My husband recently bought a car from here that supposedly had only 60k miles on it. Within the first week of having the car, the car began shaking when he would go over a certain speed. He then had to get the wheel bearings and alignment changed. A few weeks later the transmission blew for the first time and then a few weeks later for a second time. He had to replace the transmission not once, but twice since having this car! The alignment has already been replaced twice as well. Most recently the car was beginning to have issues turning. Come to find out, he now has to get a new rack, pinion, and a new alignment costing us another $600.00. We have had this car for not even six months yet and it has been in the shop more then it has been driven and we have paid close to $3000 between getting the car towed and fixed. We notified 1st City of every single thing that we have had to fix on this car, but they just dont care. They got there money from the bank and that is all they care about. We will NEVER buy another car from here or recommend this place to anyone.

Very good with taking a deposit ..very bad with return it ... Applied for a vehicle almost 3 weeks ago didnt get approved now is taking them almost two weeks to get back to me and I presently still dont have it contacting the Better Business Bureau any Attorney Generals office it also contacted my lawyer on Monday for a demanding a refund for my deposit paid in cash trying to give me back in a check which means that the cash a check at the the turn on bag inside cost me $8 to cash which means I wont have my full refund

Whatever went wrong they were honest and did everything they could to keep me happy. Its a used car dealership and I bought a used car. Overall I would recommend them and I am very glad I got the extended warranty.

Recently bought a car at the Gonic location and my car broke down on the highway and they told me that it was ready and street safe. Never going to these people again and telling everyone about it. All they care about is selling cars and once they leave the lot, boom see ya.

My gf went there and found a car she liked they asked her for 100$ to put it on hold the next day they told her she was not approved for the car. It took us 3 months to get the money back from them not good people

Not a great experience here. Spent my entire day here trying to get approved for a vehicle. Filled out all the credit application paperwork by 11:30am, went back around 1 to find out they didnt put the paperwork though yet. 45 minutes later they ask me to put a partial down payment (which was fine) they then apparently put the credit app through. Fast forward... Not approved (still fine) days later I am approved at another dealership just to find that this dealership only gave me half of my deposit back.... When I call back today they were fully aware of the mistake but literally did not apologize once! Very unprofessional. Now Ill be waiting another day for my card to be cleared up...

1st city sold me a $10k bmw with a clean car fax, ps the car had recalls from 2010, and now doesnt run. I checked the car fax and it was dirty as all hell, worst the a scary movies toilet.
