Wasted a good amount of time at this dealership. I spoke with the sales guy and he had told us that he would hold a vehicle for us. The day of the sale, I called and let him know that we were on our way about 45 minutes out. He tells us we’re good, and that the vehicle is still on the lot for us. When we arrive, he tells us that we missed the vehicle by 30 minutes and it just sold. Waste of time. Go somewhere else.

Saw a 2017 Tundra Limited online with a good price. After chatting and negotiating over the phone. We drove 12 hours to get it. Little did I know, the Tundra was a dirty inside and out. My BIL came and test drive it a week before it and had express concerns that it was dirty and I also told them about it to make sure it was address. It turn out nothing was done. After talking to them and I found out that they had the Tundra for over 2 months. The answer I got was, We price our vehicle accordingly. I blamed myself for thinking I got a good deal and drove 12 hours and wasted 2 days. But there is NO EXCUSES for a Toyota dealer to put a 2017 Tundra Limited price over $30k in their lot and did not address any of the obvious and its really suck. This dealer standard for excellent is very very low. Anyone buy a used car from them should triple check.

2 hours wait time for an oil change ??!!!! .. I also was going for the $149 special for 3 oil changes and 3 tire rotation, but after I experienced the 2 hours wait i decided to pay for only the 1 time and never come back, however that 1 time was $100+ ...Highly unrecommended if you have better things to do with your life than waiting in a small waiting area.

I am a Toyota fan, and I have experience with four of Toyota dealerships close to me. Matic, Golling, Suberban and Fox. Fox dealership has a great maintenance services, people are friendly, ( The worst is Matic ). For buying or leasing I dont recommend Fox. ( Suberban is the best, clear and straight).My reviews based on personal experience as a mechanical engineer and experienced customer relationship and sales. I purchased my used Toyota from this dealership- GREAT experience with Steven!! Thats why 2 stars!!However Service department is- AWEFUL! I will be driving to Troy now because I do not trust this department with my vehicle. Heres why:I brought my car in for a recall repair and it was damaged when I got it back. I was told I would have to make an appointment to bring it back in for the repair since the detailing person was gone for the day. I brought it back in, waiting 2 hours, got it back it was not fixed, the service manager tried to fix it himself (which could have been done the first time and shouldnt have taken 2 hours.) I was told theyd order a new part to fix since they couldnt inside of 2 tries. I was not followed up with as I was told I would be, then I was told the part was too expensive to purchase for the slight damage that had been done.So somehow the damage done to my vehicle was now an oh well. I agree that it was damage on the smaller side- yet it was damage, visible when sitting in drivers or passenger seat (not something just seen using the trunk) and should have been rectified. I brought the car back in again for repair, repair was done my the expert I was told. I was so excited to get it back finally fixed. Driving home, I realized the original damage was fixed, but new damage had been done to the dash. I let the service manger know, he never contacted me back.Summary of the story- they damaged my car after a recall repair, I had to bring it back 3x, original damage fixed, now new damage. Been to this location several time while vehicle shopping. I had already decided to purchase a Tacoma when my current lease end. Spoke to several people over the phone but good luck trying to get any information out of them or even a simple call back. Just today I decided to give them another shot since they are local and walked into the Toyota dealership with the intent of purchasing a vehicle. But after standing in the lobby for 35 minutes without a hello or even a well be with you shortly I decided to walk out. I was a guaranteed customer for them but an now going to take my business elsewhere.

Went in to trouble shoot a fuel pump issue. Two weeks and $500 later they replaced a $.30 O-ring on the fuel pump. Easily an 30 min of labor. Will drive the distance to avoid going back to Fox Toyota. Good luck getting a return phone call or any status updates.

I have to agree with the other reviews. The salesmen are very polite and helpful. The finance guy is the issue. He offered a “today only” price. That is a shady business practice used to pressure less experienced buyers. Do yourself a favor and go to Suburban Toyota instead.

While the people at Fox were all very pleasant, it was difficult to reach anyone in service with calls not being returned for hours and constant looping back out of the automated phone system to get back to a live person (who couldn’t track down another live person). Add to that that my actual repairs took much longer than I was told they would and I would not recommend Fox to anyone until they can fix the way they prioritize customer time and communication.

Great service. Finished quicker than told prior. Clean pleasant seating in the waiting room. But way too cold for comfort. And only one cup for the coffee carafes, and sugar was empty. I found a full container in the cabinet. Perhaps someone should check hourly.

They changed the engine oil but NEVER told me the quality of the new oil and WHEN am I supposed to change it again. They charged me something called the shop fee[...] which was separate from the vehicle work fee and never told me what it is. I dont even know if they REALLY changed my oil+filter and the air quality filters because they never gave me the old air filters or even the oil filter. DISGUSTING MONEY GRAB SCAMMERS!

I bought my Camry from Fox Toyota and always go there for my cars service. When I went in today at my scheduled appointment, they were running late and my car took quite a bit longer than anticipated. The service department, aware of the longer than normal appointment, covered the cost of my oil change! I was pleasantly surprised by this generous accommodation. I go to Fox Toyota because they always do an excellent job on my Camry, and they go above and beyond to keep their customers satisfied. Thank you for being so professional!

This is my second lease through Fox Toyota following several positive service experiences on an out of state used Lexus purchase. I already have a lease and went back for another for my daughter because the sales and service at Fox is outstanding to put it simply and concisely. Professional, attentive and friendly from the front door, through the service reception and operators to the sales staff and financial services. I will be back for scheduled vehicle maintenance and once each of my leases expire to purchase or lease again from Fox. The vehicles are also obviously above and beyond what I expect from a vehicle.

I picked up my new 2019 Avalon Limited yesterday. I received a fair price, was treated fairly and courteously. My salesperson, Craig was very professional and made sure everything went smoothly.My car car was ready on time, clean and filled with fuel.I would actually rate my experience as a five star plus.

It took about 10 minutes or more to get waited on with only one other vehicle in front of me. After I sat in the lounge it took about two hours to complete my vehicle. That was about what I figure it would take with no problems. First time visit. I would give five stars if it did not take so long to get waited on.

In for the 5000 mile check, very quick to get me in even though I was an hour early. Craig(the salesman that sold me the car) went out of his way to come over and talk to me. Checking how I liked the car and making sure I didn’t have any questions. Very pleasant staff.

This is our 4th car we have purchased from Fox Toyota and each time the customer service has been terrific.Craig was our salesperson and he was awesome! He patiently listened to what we wanted and then found us the cars that would match. Unfortunately our choice wasn’t in state but that was no problem - the dealership managed to get it here in a matter of days.We have had maintenance done at this dealership as well and the experience has been an easy one. Our daughter drives a Toyota and when she takes her car for service she is also treated with respect. (You would think this is a given but it’s surprising how many business’ don’t treat young adults with respect.)I can’t say everyone will have the same experience we did when visiting Fox Toyota. I can say I have been a customer for the past 10 years and have dealt with different managers, sales reps, mechanics... and have always had a positive experience.Thanks Fox Toyota for another seamless car buying experience.

Greg Johns has always taken fabulous care of me. He always willing to answer all my questions and explain without my feeling ignorant. I have maintained my car at Fox Toyota since I purchased it in 2012 and choose to drive the 40 minutes to get there.

Do not take your vehicle here to get serviced! I just bought a brand new vehicle and was already having a new minor issues. The service department is extremely rude. Poor quality customer service. They had my car for 4 days for minor fixes and when I got my car back neither of the issues were fixed after they assured me they double checked everything. I called immediately after and my Customer Service Rep was clueless and offered me no solution to my problems. Called the manager of the department and he never called me back. So they had my car for 4 days and didn’t fix my issue and in addition there was zero sense of customer service. Go to another service center. I love my car but not happy with this dealership.

The service and enthusiasm of staff has severely declined since the remodeling of this location. I have been disappointed each time I visit ever since for various reasons.

Most insulting experience! I visited the dealership just a few months ago because I noticed a spot under my engine in my garage and at the garage at work. After the service department inspected the car, I was told that the seals on my transmission were failing and I needed a new transmission. Side note, the transmission was installed 2 years prior to my current visit. I couldn’t believe that the transmission was faulty, so I took the car to a service station across town, where the tech informed me that the transmission plug was missing. The new service center installed the plug and said the car was running great. Fox Toyota didn’t even mention to me that the plug was missing. I drove the car for a few weeks to confirm the status of the transmission. After a few weeks of driving and no more ‘leaking’, I called the service manager at Fox Toyota of Rochester Hills and asked him how this could’ve happened, and why the dealership didn’t mention a missing plug, or offer that as a potential repair. The service manager was speechless and didn’t have a resolution to the problem. I then asked for the general manager’s number and contacted him, only to be told that the transmission doesn’t have a ‘cap’ on it. After debating, he then admitted that there is a ‘plug’, playing word games with me. I then asked the general manager what Fox Toyota does in these situations, and he asked ‘what are you trying to get out of this?’, then offered me a free oil change!!! I then asked to speak to the owner himself, and the Owner told me that the technician that worked on my car is a 26 year ‘Master Technician’ and that, I quote, ‘he never suggests something for you car that it doesn’t need’, when in fact, he suggested that I spend $4,000 on a new transmission as opposed to a $10 plug. I forgot to mention that the dealership called me and made me an offer to buy my car off of me. I guarantee the ‘Master Technician’ would’ve suggested installing the plug as a fix once they purchased the car. Why wasn’t I offered the same strategy? My family and I have purchased/leased several Toyota’s/Lexuss over the past 20 years. I took my car to the dealership for EVERYTHING!!!! I will never purchase/lease another car or receive any service from this place EVER AGAIN!!! I also contacted Toyota the manufacturer and notified them of the representation that Fox Toyota is providing for them.

I took my 2018 Toyota 4Runner that I purchased from Fox Toyota to their service department for the 20,000 mile oil change. After I left the dealership and drove approximately 40 miles I noticed the check engine and oil pressure lights were on. I pulled over and found oil all over the underside of the car and no oil registered on the dipstick. I was told the following day that there were 2 quarts of oil left in the motor (out of 6.5 quarts) when the car was trucked back to the dealer. The dealership installed a new oil change and said there was no damage and everything was fine. After driving the car for some time with extremely low oil I lost confidence that the motor would ever be the same and did not want to assume the risk that they were wrong. The mistake by Fox Toyota cost me $5,000 to trade the 2018 4Runner in for an identical 2019 4Runner so that I could leave the dealership with a car that I had 100% confidence in like the one I brought in for an oil change the week before.The best test of great service is when a mistake is made and the dealership owns the mistake and resolves the issue to the customer’s satisfaction. Not this time!My original 2018 Gray 4Runner Premium with 20,500 miles is currently for sale on their used car lot. Buyers beware!

One of the worst after sales support.. Even for certified cars..Bought a certified Toyota Camry SE, within a week raiseed issues is losing traction above 70 speeds, feeling strong steering drags both sides, making car to almost to wobble.. I am afraid of this getting more and how it would be in winter.. Service guys just said its because of type of road.. Really.. After few days my key lock gets stuck sometimes ..key can be inserted into but it doesnt move to accessory or key on or to crank.. After like almost tried by 5 6 people someone was able to make it move by luck.. It started working.. Its dangerous situation when stuck with someone and bad place or near middle of nowhere.. Service guys didnt even follow up the call.. It went voice mail every time during working hours .

Easiest car buying experience I’ve had, except for the fact I had to drive 4 1/2 hrs to the dealership. Was so excited to see they had the vehicle I was looking for and it was in great shape! I had a great experience with Fox Toyota service to get a tire replaced. My run flat AWD tire was not available at three tire retailers (special order, 2-5 days wait time), so I called Toyota hoping they would have them in stock and they did. And much to my (pleasant) surprise it was comparably priced and they could get me an appointment within an hour of me calling! From the moment me and my kids arrived to the moment we pulled away, everyone was helpful, courteous, and friendly. I will definitely be calling Fox Toyota first for any future service needs.

Nice place, nice staff. However they could use better signage on how to enter the service area with your car. Had me totally confused.

Karen Cottrill! She is an AWESOME service rep. who cares genuinely about not only her customers but also her workplace! She is very helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly! I couldn’t ask for better service from her and I always ask for her every time I come in.

I had a recall on my vehicle. They had to replace the entire frame. I was informed that there were other repairs needing to be done. I asked for a total and it was over $3000.00. I wasn’t expecting that. I couldn’t afford to have the repairs done so I informed them that I would have the repairs done at a later date. Three months later, my vehicle was returned to me. The heat was not working, several lights on located in dash, remote to lock and unlock my vehicle was not working and my back windshield wipers are not working. Which all mentioned were working before I took my vehicle in for the recall. However, I am thankful that I was provided with a loaner at no charge.

I called to let Josh know that I’d be there to finance the van that I had been leasing. It only took an hour to get everything done and be on my way with my vehicle. I appreciate how quickly they helped me. Usually, I’d spend many hours waiting in this situation.

Service was scheduled for 11:40 and I was in area so I called and they got me in an out before my original scheduled time. On top of that they were very friendly and went the extra mile to show me that my business was important to them even though I did purchase my vehicle from them. Great job Fox team!!

Toyota always does a great job! Always very thorough and the car wash is an added bonus.
