I would say the Mike Bashore office delivers the high level of customer support that one would expect from State Farm. Personalized service, responsive messaging, etc etc. BUT, the thing that caught me off guard was the great rates. I switched from USAA and now Im saving ~$200 a year on home, and ~$80 a month on auto. My biggest problem with State Farm is they have Aaron Rogers plastered all over the website and I want to kill myself every time I use it. FTP. But, thats not Mike Bashores fault.

I have been with Mike Bashore State Farm in Rochester Hills, MI since I was a teen. I have had no problems with them except an issue with the app that has nothing to do with them. For some reason any changes through the app do not get relayed to the office so make sure you call the office for any changes. If you call the office you will get someone and they are very helpful.

Unfortunately, Michigans difficult laws and policies made it difficult for me to remain a loyal SF customer. I had to make the difficult decision to switch to Progressive (due to price). Thankfully, new laws have been established. As soon as they are in place, I will be back to SF in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

Jason helped me set up my no fault car insurance. I don’t usually write reviews but the service I got from Mike Bashore State Farm went above and beyond my expectations. I have been a client with Mike Bashore for roughly 4 years. Both him and his staff were always courteous and helpful but thankfully I never had a claim. That all changed about a month ago when my car was rear-ended. I spoke with Mike personally after the accident and from start to finish he made the process easy to understand and completely stress free. After making sure my family was okay he called the claims department with me on the line. He was able to help make recommendations for a repair shop based on his experience (Action Collision was great!) versus whatever their computer spit out, he made reservations with the rental car company and checked in regularly with me on the progress to make sure everything was satisfactory. He was able to let me know what to expect at each stage so I was better prepared. Overall Mike Bashore State Farm took an incredibly aggravating situation and worked hard to make it as easy as possible. I would HIGHLY recommend this agency to any and everyone who would listen!

# Edit :I moved from Texas to Michigan, from another state far agent to Mike Bashores office. I regret the change in the agent. Every other month my policy have changed without prior notification, which never happened with the Texas State farm agents. If X ( say an agent in the mike bashore office) offers you a low quote. After a month the policy changes to higher price point. Then after two months they show you a lower payment postal mail sent to your email/ home address due for next month, you get excited. Never be!!They would take back all those reduced amount with a further steep high payment a month after your discounted payment.I am done with them. I am moving my policy to another agent.
