Horrible service. Was looking for a new truck and was told by Kyle that we had to put a $5000 deposit down that was non refundable. So had we changed our mind we wouldve lost out. That same day we contacted Terry Labonte Chevrolet in Greensboro NC and they said we could buy the truck while in transit. Signed the paperwork that day. So bad business to not sell the truck while in transit and try to take money from deposit instead. Why in the world would anyone want to put down a deposit and take the chance on losing it. Especially from healthcare workers like me and my husband.

On March 9, 2021 my life changed for the better. I’ve had terrible experiences with buy here pay here dealerships. They sell their vehicles twice to three times as much as they’re actually worth & none of my cars lasted more than a few months to a year. I don’t have the best credit but thought I’d give berglund a shot because my 2010 dodge I bought back in December was on its last limb. Charisma is who initially greeted me and I must say she was very professional and friendly. Had she not told me that she’d only been a salesperson for under 6 months, I would’ve thought she’d been doing this since the start of her career. I explained my circumstances and she told me she’d do her best to put me in a vehicle. I previously was denied a vehicle by jdbyrider and shelor motor mile b/c they claimed I didn’t have enough income and needed a co-signer. I arrived literally less than an hour before closing time and all of the staff at Berglund went above and beyond to help me out. Initially they took me to a 2016 Toyota Camry but I said I needed an SUV! They took me to a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe and I fell in love. I took it on a test drive and when I came back they told me I’d been approved. I was still in disbelief! Joe (the general sales manager) was also very nice and his sense of humor really took away all of my nervousness. Anthony who is the financial manager was also pleasant and kind. Thank you Berglund for the opportunity and my new ride will not only get me where I need to go, but will also help me build my credit. Special thanks to Charisma for taking out the time to set me up with a new insurance company. I’m sure she’ll be a great manager someday! I also enjoyed our photo shoot 🥰

There was a slight hiccup with the car wed wanted to see not being there, but Clifton went out of his way to try to find a vehicle similar and within our price range. We had a small problem with the fuel door after driving the car home but a quick call to Clifton, and it was fixed in less than an hour. He even delivered the car to our home himself. I have used this dealership to do all the work on my Camero SS since i mover here 2 years ago. Most of the time when i pick up my car the interior is covered with grease. Yesterday the drivers side door was covered in heavy black grease when i picked it up. Charged around $450.00 for a battery and replacement. Cost of the battery was $244 so $200 dollars to change out a batter is INSANE! TOTAL bill for rear breaks, oil change and new battery was....$910.08. I will find another option for my service and sales while i live in the area.

Shaaaaaaady. Not sure what kind of calculator they’re using to print their payment papers because mine didn’t add up at all…..check for hidden money somewhere on that paper. How does a $20,000 car cost over $700 a month if I’m doing a chunk of money down??? Also said my trade was only worth a hundred bucks and I only have 120k miles!

I wish I had never gone to this dealership. I called them by phone to ask about the price on a 2021 LT Bolt EV and their employee (Kyle Motsinger, Internet Sales Specialist) said that the price would be $27,000. I said that I was looking for something around $25,000 and thanked him for his time. He then sent an email saying that with rebates he thought they could bring the price down to my range and scheduled me to come to the dealership the next week, which required taking leave from my military job and a trip from SC to VA. When I arrived, they said that they had already sold the car I was interested in and one of their Sale Managers (Brian Thompson) stated that it was impossible that they would ever sell it for the price that their employee quoted. He also said that the employee claimed he never mentioned any prices during our phone call. The upper level management at this dealership felt dishonest. I eventually bought a higher trim Bolt from them, but now I greatly regret it, since it basically validates their having used what was practically a bait-and-switch strategy. I genuinely do not want to buy a new car ever again because of this experience, especially not from Chevrolet or this dealership. I will say that my direct salesman, Gray Wiley, was helpful and deserves 5 stars, but he was generally sidelined by two of the sales managers during the actual negotiation process.

Cody Beane and Zach McCormick in the service department have been absolutely excellent in working with me and getting my vehicle fixed. They have gone above and beyond working with a very difficult extended warranty company in getting the repairs completed. I give them more than a 5 star rating. I highly recommend these two gentlemen at Berglund service center to have any and all your repairs done to your vehicle!!

Dealership will call once or twice every month about someone “interested in your vehicle”. They will ask if still own a certain vehicle, and then ask “is it for sure under xx,xxx mileage?” To which they exclaim “Fantastic!”. Then they follow up with a question about a feature (ie sunroof, color, leather) and then no matter your answer it’s always the right one. They will tell you that they have someone interested in a vehicle just like yours, and try to get you in there ASAP. When you get there, the supposed interested party can no longer be located and instead you are forced to try and buy a vehicle. They low ball every trade thousands below rough value, and price their entire inventory thousands above retail. I heard multiple salespeople reading the same script, and someone referred to it as a mannifess(?). I’m on a do not telephone list and have asked multiple times, but I still get these bait and switch scam calls regardless. ⁄‹€€€€DO NOT TELL ANYONE AT BERGLUND IF YOU STILL OWN YOUR VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY WILL CALL UOU NONSTOP ABOUT SOME MADE UP PERSON INTERESTED IN YOUR VEHICLE!!!€€€€€‹‹⁄€

Bought a truck 4 years ago from here. Every time I bring it here for service no one wants to wait on me. Walk in and watch who acknowledges you. You will wait and not be taken care of. I have complained in the past to 3 services mgrs which they can’t keep for very long and each time they say they are going to handle it there is a new service mgr. try it you’ll see what I am talking about. I keep telling them if you can’t handle servicing what you sell no one will buy anymore. They need to clean house. Today when I walked in I had a service guy walk all the way around so he wouldn’t have to take care of me and out of the 4 service people ( I was the only customer) chase acknowledged me and told me someone would be right with me. Well it was him. Thry ought to fire everyone else and keep him in charge

Charisma Bailey I believe did an exceptional job when I was looking to trade my car in for a newer model. After letting her know what I was looking for she showed me several cars and was extremely knowledgeable on the features of each one. There was no high pressure sales and I was able to get the deal I was looking for. This was my third car purchased at Berglund and I would recommend Charisma to any one looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

I came there to buy car and told the guy I had no money down then he brought me one car to choose from and I had to put almost 3000 down.. I felt like if I had to put that much down I should’ve been able to pick my own car color and everything ... then I took my car there to get a oil change had a appointment and it took them half of the day to get it done I had to miss apt cause they didn’t get my car in at my appointment time .. I wish I would’ve never done business with them.. didn’t offer a car to use while mine was there all day and still charged crazy prices

I was in the market for a new vehicle and didn’t have a lot to spend. $2500 down. $350 car payment. Wasn’t moving from that no matter what. Was worried I was gonna be hassled. I knew my credit was terrible, was working on it. Had been referred to Doug by a friend of mine. He helped me get into a credit building vehicle that made me VERY happy. It was a family vehicle but also met my every expectation. I never thought that I would get into something that I enjoyed for that low of a payment with “building credit” status. It really can be done. A pleasant experience all around. Definitely recommend.

We took a trip following service. Our brake system acted up apparently the brake fluid was not topped off and fell below minimum. I called and advised David Chewning who is amazing but the mechanic failed to do the proper checklist. After an oil change and transmission service and a bill of 330.00 this is not acceptable.
