I have had my RX7 since 2005 and have moved it with me around the country. I have brought it to rotary mechanics in: Orlando, Miami, Tampa, Southern California, Northern Virginia, Richmond, VA, and Maryland. By the time I moved to West Palm Beach, I thought about getting rid of the car because I had such bad experiences in the past and wasnt sure if I could find a competent mechanic to help me keep the car running.In 2015 I brought my car to Cam and he has completely restored my car. I can honestly say I havent had any major mechanical issues since then. Cam uses his experience to make rotaries more reliable which is exactly what I was looking for. All I have had to do since is regular oil changes.Recently my 25 year old window switch failed and my drivers window was stuck in the down position. Cam met me at his shop on a Saturday morning, diagnosed the problem, and gave me a working switch free of charge. If that is the kind of service you want, bring you car here.

This is the ONLY PLACE I TAKE MY RX7 TO: PERIOD! If I cant do it myself, I leave it to Cam and his team. They are the best in the country!.. I just hit the 95K mark and had a mouse nest in my airbox. Not knowing, I started the car (the turbos turned into a Mouse-O-Matic). Mouse and nest parts made it all the way to the intercooler. I could have done it myself, but I figured it was time for a rebuild and a street ported, blueprinted Pettit engine, so I shipped it to Pettit & Cam. Wonderful job! Wow! Best money Ive spent since I bought the car in 2000. Cam - Love you Brother!.. As for your RX7, dont screw around, just ship it to Pettit!!!

I read the negative reviews and wonder what could have gone wrong to prompt the person to write such a negative review. Because in my experience, the expertise and knowledge from Cam, as well as the quality of the parts coming from this company are without comparison. Im not a professional, just a weekend warrior...but if you want quality parts with quality knowledge, then Pettit Racing is the place to maximize the potential of your FD.

The best there is to make the Rx-7 and Rx-8 better than when new! The place is very clean and organized like you never seen in the rotary world. Cam knows all the flaws from factory and know how to solve and improve them! He builds the motors better than MAZDA does and they perform faster, more reliable and more efficient than even when brand new, believe me he knows all the tricks to make them perform and endure like nobody else, he even manufactures special parts for them that nobody have. If Mazda brings back the Rx-7 they will have Cam to be the first one to improve it.

Ive been going to Pettit Racing for the past 7 years. I myself have had two Rx8s, and my father currently has one himself. We both REFUSE to take our cars anywhere besides to see Cam at Pettit Racing. He is a great guy, who does amazing work. Plus, he always has some cool project cars to look at while at the shop. I would 100% recommend anyone to take their car to Pettit Racing.

Pettit Racing in WPB, is one of the only automotive shops that is extremely honest. They go far beyond the call of duty. The owner, Cam Worth, really cares and stands by his work. I would definitely recommend Pettit Racing.

Avoid this shop at all cost. Cameron is a underhanded businessman, lies and wrecked my car. After four months and 2,500 in damages I am back on the road no thanks to Cameron who took my car on a unauthorized test drive and got in an accident. Then he avoided me for a week before he informed me he was in the accident the day after I dropped my car off. Add the work he did do was substandard and will be redone since this shop is desperate for money. They used to own the building but lost it since they didn’t pay the bank. That shop is layers of lies.

I have been taking my rotary cars to Cam at Pettit Racing since 1992, they always take car of me, had many engines built by them, with out any issues, Cam always stands by his work, it saddens me to see any negative reviews, theirs not a lot of rotary shops with 40 years of rotary engine experience, when you have literally built 1000,s of rotary enginesI suppose your going to get a negative review at some point weather its true or not. But keep in mind this is a true rotary expert not a fly-by-night rotary shop. Since i have been using there services for 27 years i thought i should set record straight. 40 years of road racing rotary powered cars and engine building. Theirs no other place i will ever bring my 1995 RX7 !

I recently a 1999 bmw 540i, I know it’s not a rotary but..... I was having multiple issues with throttle response and loss of power, I went far and wide looking for answers weather it was a forum or certified technicians. Cam instantly got everything back into working order, car feels brand new.

Theres no better recourse for your rotary engine needs

Scamming SOBs. Both times I ordered parts from them I had to use PayPals claim process. First time, nothing was shipped. Second time, after two months and promises of sending me premix for free, they shipped me cheap hoses from amazon that are 1/3 the price. Id avoid this place.

Do not go to that shop people!!!!!!!! Avoid them please!!!!! They are thefts and liars, I called them and told them exactly what was wrong with my vehicle, they told me to come in and told me that they would fix it, and when I got there they said they couldnt, they also stole parts from my engine I didnt even notice, until a mechanic showed me what they did, they were the only one that worked on the vehicle so I thats how I know theyre responsible, please avoid that place.

People be careful with this shop West palm beach Pettit Racing they did my car it didn’t last three days this shop is a scam they use used parts they say they they open the engine in front of the customer but whenever they close the engine they don’t want you to be there warning warning this is a scam very disappointed Lost my money $6,000 I got pictures I got proof was more customers Car is in a shop in Orlando I will update some pictures See you guys in court
