I took my car in for a brake inspection and thank goodness I did cause I had worned them out and was driving without brakes. My car was making a terrible noise on braking, I was informed that my car was very dangerous to drive it. I went the next day to pick it up and my car was like brand new, there was no screeching sound any longer. The price was excellent for fixing my brakes and rotors. I really recommend GTO to all. There Alright.I was recommended here and it seemed convenient since it was by my work-place.Over-all, alright people, but not so honest.Took it in for a clanking sound and I was quoted a clutch replacement [1000] and when I went back to check-up my car hadnt even been inspected!When the problem was resolved [faulty mount] a bit less expensive [600].My car came out with a burnt headlamp assembly[$1600 part]!! The blamed was trying to be thrown towards me and when They said they would fix it...it just never happened. After 3 weeks of going back.Never Again.Thank you!

Was referred to GTO Automotive by my brother-in-law, and it has been a headache ever since. My Cadillac had issues with the struts and needed them replaced. First, they LIED like they were ordering new parts, then they LIED like they replaced the old ones. I traveled an hour from Chicago to pick up my car only to get home and hear this awful rattling, worse than the issue I originally came in for. My husband took the car back and they charged him an additional $150 to “inspect “ the car, knowing they were dishonest about fixing the problem. We went took the car in to another shop and learned that the $850 struts we paid for were bad. I am calling BBB to report this as a scam.

I have brought a few of my cars here over the last few years with no problems and after going this last time, I will not be returning to this shop again. I came in to fix a failed emissions problem with Nelson and I had to take my car back to him multiple times because he was not fixing the problem correctly. I have been back and forth to this shop probably about 10 times now trying to resolve issues after taking my car here. On top of all this, after leaving my car with GTO over night, I found out that they opened up my cars dashboard (without my permission or reason too, since the work he was supposed to be doing was under the car) and messed with my hazard button causing my car to not have any turn signal lights. When I brought the car back to him for the lights being out, he told me that he didnt know why I was having this problem and wanted to charge me $80 to fix it. I had to take my car to another mechanic and he showed me how they moved the hazard button to try and scam me into paying them to fix something that wasnt even broken!! He also told me that I was way over charged for the work GTO did. SO save your time and money! They are dishonest and take advantage of people!

Went in to fix a flat. Tire was beyond repair. So I ordered 4 new Hankooks. They installed a loaner tire in the meantime. New tires came in the next day. I was in and out in less than 30 Minutes with a new set, mounted, balanced installed. The price was unbeatable and the service is 2nd to none. If your not going to GTO for your nee tires, then youll paying way too much.

They had my car for a month and kept saying they were working on it but ended up doing nothing to it and just temporarily fixing a non existing problem. Car ended up breaking down shortly after leaving the shop.

This is the 2nd time (actually 4th only because I always have to go back after supposedly the problem was fixed. If you are female or a male and do not know about cars do not bring your car here. This last time I paid for unnecessary repairs come to find out the problem was never solved. Now I have to go to a real mechanic who knows about cars. Terrible auto repair shop, it take two days to fix your car and later you have to bring it back because they didnt fix the problem the first time. Plus make sure to check your car for missing clumps and fasteners as the they take apart your car and attempt to assemble it back. Took the car back for the third time and was told that they can fix the leak. I am out $400 plus two day missing from work. GTO sucks. I will see them in small claims court.

I took my car to get the links and bushings and when i got my car back i went home and went under my car to make sure they replace the parts that they told me they were going to replace and i found out that they only replace the links and they just put grease on my old bushings. Not an honest shop.

Been getting my oil change for a couple months now and always put up with them taking long always love saying your next but really your next to get in not to get taken care off.. they change their prices depending whos their even if you already got one price and going for the same thing. I call ahead of time to see if they can take me in right away they will say yes just to still make me wait! What really made me not ever go back is how they try to charge me more to break off the filter cause it wouldnt come out but there the only one who have did my oil change there the ones that got my filter stuck but I gotta pay for them to break it and put a new one?! Im done with that place!
