Took my 2 boys for haircuts. Ive been holding off for about 6 months due to COVID but finally decided to do it. Im glad we went to Carmines! They have a system to keep everyone safe. Add your name to the sign-up sheet at the back door and wait outside or in your car to be called to prevent too many people in the barber shop at one time. Both my boys cuts came out very well and everyone in the shop is so nice and welcoming.On top of the great haircuts, they went above and beyond for me. My car battery died after we left the shop and it was taking me a while to find roadside assistance that would come out. The younger barber (I wish I knew his name!) came out to check on me. He brought his car around and gave me a jump start so that we could get going. Really good people at Carmines!

Wow! I got to say. I havent got a haircut like this in years! Okay, so the night before, I tried doing a buzzcut on myself. Im no barber, and I messed up so bad that I had two bald spots on the back of my head. These guys were open at 8 am and were very friendly over the phone. When I went in, I asked if they could fix up the job I did on myself. And my god, they did a fantastic job! And only for $20! I plan to come here again with my family. I have been coming to Carmines for over 10 years, and I have always left a happy customer. I save up a seasons worth of hair for them to cut classic short and they always cut it well and fast. You can always expect a friendly conversation too if you are in the chatty mood. With covid they have a sign in system where you write your name/number, wait outside, and they will call you over when there is a chair open. They also have a forehead temperature gauge, and masks are mandatory. I am pleased with the precautions they have taken to keep everyone safe and happy.

Ive finally found a great barber in New Jersey! Took me a couple of years after moving from NY. Most barbers tend to cut my hair wayyy too short but the folks at Carmines have the skillset and patience to do it right.Great haircut (wife loved it) and comfortable atmosphere. Theyre currently following all of the covid regulations and making the best of it. Awesome place.

Went here for the first time this past Saturday. Found the place because Frank, formerly of Louis Barber Shop in Hackensack, is here. Parking in the back is very convenient. Friendly people, good seating, busy, but people moved through quickly.

Carmines is a staple to the River Edge and Oradell regulars. Friendly and expert stylists keep the lines moving while taking the time to get your cut just right. Very reasonably priced too. I havent had a bad cut from there yet.

Been getting my hair cut here for years. All the barbers are great, you cant go wrong with any or them. I called to make sure they arent on vacation. They used to take Monday off in the summer but I guess that changed since they answered the phone.
