Love the facility. Have been coming to the fitness center for years now but the cleanliness has gone down hill. The shower areas aren’t cleaned often. I was there last night and it was disgusting and came back the next morning and the same trash and nastiness is still there. The sauna used to be a delight but now it’s disgusting and there’s trash everywhere in there and has been in there for weeks.

Very nice rec. Their pool and hot water spa are amazing. Their exercise equipment is all modern and kept clean. I spent the summer on campus and even debated applying to EKU just to enjoy their rec.

The location is very convenient for EKU students. Theres a pretty good selection of equipment, and theyre usually not very busy. They do have an advantage over a regular gym in that they have basketball courts, a pool, racquetball courts, a climbing wall, etc. But as far as straight gym equipment goes, its just about as good as any decent local gym. Overall, its a great experience considering its included in the cost of attendance.
