I Went To A Stop The Violence Event Here And I Had A Blast. The City Showed Up And There Was No Violence Afterwards. I Would Go To Any Other Events They Have. Absolutely Loved It.

My son had a tournament originally schedule this morning at this organization @ 11:15. The location of the game changed to U-Turn and I had not been notified. I arrived and paid $10 for a wrist band at which point I received notification that the game location had changed. I was not in the building for 1 minute before I explained to the lady who took my money I made a mistake and was in the wrong location and asked for a refund. The lady said she was sorry but she would not give me a refund. She and I both knew this was ethically and morally wrong. No service was provided and I literally walked in and walked right back to the desk of the same individual who supplied me a wrist band. The $10 means absolutely nothing to me but the principal means everything. My son plays tournaments every weekend and I paythe standard admission fee regularly. In this particular case the lady left me with not enough cash to get into the correct tournament since they are usually cash only. This act of refusal to do the right thing was a huge inconvenience and is a sad representation of your organization. It would be nice if someone recognized the poor decision made by your staff and rectified the situation— if not by a refund—then at the very least by communicating the importance of acting morally and ethically in a situation such as the one outlined in this review. Well organized tournaments. Please try Big Hulks fried fish! That alone is worth the trip. I really enjoy watching games there. Very family oriented, safe with plenty of parking.

Great facility,clean and friendly, though very, very hot in the gym area. Really good basketball, fun atmosphere. Where they fall far short is in the the quality of the referees, they were horrible. And that is sad because the kids work so hard, as do the gyms that host the tournaments. But if you don’t find a way to get better referees why would anyone want to go to your tournaments. And the referees must learn/find a way to call the boys and the girls games same way… They ( the kids) all worked very hard to get where they are. The reason I hold the facilities accountable is that they hire the companies that provide the referees and their needs to be some level of accountability.

We were attending a basketball tournament . The staff was good and it was a pleasant experience . Infact this place was way cleaner than most tournament facilities that we play at .

First class basketball skill training. How often do we get an opportunity to get around a legend like Mr. Big Ben Wallace?! Priceless!

Great gym, clean and modern. Tighter when used two as 2 cross courts....but better than the majority of other gym in the RVA
