This location its very convenient I have been going here for over 25 years great quality work never have to bring your car back for any additional repairs would recommend. This location to anyone they are very honest and very fair price wise.

Update 8/31/21: Wallace Automotive Manager has offered to have the damage fixed. My husbands vehicle is at Bruce’s getting the repair needed as we speak. I appreciate that the manager has made an effort to make it right. I will continue to use their services.My husband brought his Honda Pilot in for routine maintenance… we just picked it up and there’s a dent in the back of the vehicle. They obviously backed it into some type of equipment. Upon my husband calling them back to discuss the damage the guy says his manager is off, and denied the damage then proceeded to hang up on my husband.Absolutely disappointing as our family has been regular customers to Wallace Automotive for years.

Prompt professional service. Not pushy sales people running up a bill. Went in for oil change and tire rotation and they showed me why I didnt need to get the tires rotated.

I’m fully convinced that Wallace automotive is the only honest shop out there. Brought my new to me Honda Element to a highly rated shop locally (Virginia Beach area) who made a laundry list of expensive repairs that I needed, including non-existent leaks, and a total suspension overhaul, for the slight noise I was hearing when making sharp turns. Got a second opinion at Wallace, and was told it didn’t need anything but that changing the rear differential fluid would cease the slight noise. It did indeed do that! Under $100 bill instead of thousands. I can’t say enough good things about this shop. Went to them for years with a total of four different vehicles, and every time they’ve been incredibly realistic and honest regarding repairs needed. Repairs have always been done in an timely manner. Their pricing is also fair-low compared to quotes I’ve gotten at other shops. I’ve since moved two hours away, but will be returning to the area for future vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Love coming to Wallace. I was told by an individual *not at Wallace* that a part under my hood that holds the battery was broken or loose. This was over the weekend, first thing Monday morning. I was at Wallace. They checked out my car and came back to me to alert me that there was no real issues with the part and I could just save my money. Are any other auto shops that are this honest to customers? Also, I really like Eric the guy who works the front desk. He is really hands on, knowledgeable, helpful and always pleasant in my interactions with him.

I gave them a try on something simple first. Price was very fair, service was great. I will be going their again!

Lied about the process to replace a part. They said I d have to drop my fuel tank to replace a part. I had just watched a video on how to replace the part and the access was under my back seat. He then said it would cost $800. When the labor was 10 to 30 mins and the part was less than $300. Nope. That is shady and he did it so smoothly that you know he doing it to all sorts of ppl. Just stealing money and lying.

My sons car broke down in Richmond. This place was recommended by my sister in law. Dropped it off and the next day at 1000 it was finished. Due to the holiday they allowed it to stay there several days. Low cost, and my son said runs better than it ever did Highly recommended!!!

Had my Acura towed here because I thought they were “specialists” in Honda’s/Acura’s... apparently not. they wouldn’t even bother to help fix my car because it had “aftermarket parts”... newsflash... most all older cars have aftermarket parts.... would NOT recommend

As a female car owner since 1972, Ive always been at the mercy of auto mechanics. Not knowing a distributor cap from a gas cap, I accepted what ever I was told was wrong with my vehicle and usually end up paying dearly. However, when I discovered Wallace auto, I can truthfully say that I have never been more pleased! They have been very fair and there were times when they could have charged for issues I thought I had but turned out not to be the case. I trust them whole heartedly. Its the first time Ive been able to say its been a pleasure doing business with an auto shop and I always tell them so! Mark and everyone there always make me feel they appreciate my business. And the shop is very clean and comfortable and the restroom is immaculate! Whenever I go there, I have no worries because I know they will be honest with me and honestly is the best policy!! So dont hesitate to go by 7427 W Broad for any issues. They will be fair with you!!

Wallace has extremely fast customer service. Im seriously shocked by how quickly they have booked my appointments, and how fast they have finished with my truck. Several weeks ago on my lunch break when my truck was having trouble starting I called Wallace. I finally got my truck started, and Eric had me come in right away and started checking my truck immediately. I havent had any major issues with my vehicle, but I am happy with the service so far and plan on going to them for my maintenance in the future.

Decided to give these guys a shot because I remember my grandparents bringing their 86 Accord to the original location way back in the day. I took my car here to get what I originally thought was a minor problem diagnosed and it ended up being something major that outweighs what the car is really worth. When I came to pick it up they absolutely refused to charge me for anything. I will go out of my way to recommend these guys to anyone I know. Other shops in this area should take notes on how well they treat their customers.

I came in to get an oil change, a drive belt and to get an estimate for repairing my A/C for my 2007 Honda Fit. The prices were inflated like many are in this area of the city but the customer service and speed of repair were outstanding. They had diagnosed the A/C issue, replaced the drive belt and changed the oil before noon. All of that aside, the main reason I was so pleasantly surprised with these guys was they didnt charge me for the A/C diagnostic and even left what needed to be done and the price they quoted on my invoice. Any other shop that Ive gone to has always had a $100+ fee for diagnosing any problem not fixed at that shop. So I thank Wallace Automotive for being straight up and not packing on hidden charges!

A simple state inspection led me to become a forever customer: Went in to Wallace for a simple state inspection; replaced a brake light and installed new windshield wipers. Then I called my previous auto repair shop to compare what their price would be -- ended up saving $80 at Wallace. I will now be a returning customer. Weve been a customer to this little shop for a few years. Our cars are usually not in need of huge repairs so things like state inspection and oil change is probably the only thing weve asked them to do and they did it perfectly fine. 10-15 mins of waiting and our horses ran like never before :-).

My grandmother took her car to this place and they told her that she needed an engine mount for her car and if she didn’t get in that they were going reject it. She had no issues with her car prior took the inspection. Also, they tried to say that her seatbelt light was on and they were going to fail it for that. An engine mount is N O T a requirement for an inspection. They are HIGHLY not recommended for me.

Great service...dropped off car with engine light on and they couldve made up anything and I wouldve believed them. However, they said it was a basic fix, corrected it with no charge. Great integrity!

These guys are fantastic--they are honest, and they know Hondas. Last time I had an oil change done on my S2000 I asked them to look at a split breather tube and fix it if it wasnt too much work. Not only did they repair it, but they didnt charge me anything extra for it. This is the only place I will take my S2000. Its a pity they dont do tires as well.

Let me just leave this story here:A YEAR AGO: My wifes car broke down and she had it towed here because the Midlothian location had done work on her car before. My wife tells me that they are telling her she needs a whole new transmission. I worked for an auto parts store at the time and could get a transmission for less expensive than they quoted her, there is a code that you have to match on transmissions in order for them to fit. I call and ask them to give me the code off of her transmission to save time. THEY REFUSE. HUGE red flag!! So I go to the location to get the code off of it myself, as Im walking to toward the car, get this....I can SEE THE CV AXLE HANGING FROM UNDERNEATH THE CAR!!!!!!(for those that dont know the CV Axle is what powers the turning of the wheels of the vehicle, cars will start but not go into motion if it is broken)I literally didnt even have to get on the ground to look to know that was the issue.Needless to say, i got that car off of their lot immediately, took it to Buddy South Auto on the Southside and they OBVIOUSLY told me that was the only issue. I ended up changing both Axles and its been fine ever since. about a $300-$400 job parts & labor. the transmission job? Over $1000 which wouldnt have even fixed the problem!!I gave them a chance and waited a year to see if they were right on the transmission at least. NOPE. and to this day I cannot believe they tried to run this scam. If you go here, GOOD LUCK!

Hands down the best Honda service in Richmond. My roommates and I have been bringing our civics here for the last 3 years and have never been disappointed. Everytime the work has been done professionally, and they have been a huge help in finding out what our car needs work on and what doesnt. Been here twice now for state inspections. Had another shop tell me I had front brake issues that i didnt think were there. Brought it up to these guys and they gave the brakes an honest check and told me everything looked great.

Just left Wallace from having my cabin air filter changed in my 2016 Nissan Altima. I didnt ask for an estimate as I assumed Wallace would be cheaper than the dealership cost of $80. Well......to my surprise I was charged $97 to change the filter. I was in total shock!!!! Sorry Wallace, but I will never be back nor will I refer anyone to your establishment

Specialty automotive in a small shop for Honda products. Inspection said wr needed tires.. rejected us and sent us a block down the street to NTB for the tires.. confusing why we needed to do the moving and shaking to get the tires when they literally could have rolled 4 tires across the street and handled everything. Hmmm...

EVERY TIME I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR (1990 KONDA ACCORD) THERE IT HAS COME BACK WITH SOME SORT OF INTENTIONAL PROBLEM. THE LAST (2) TIME I TOOK MY CAR THE BELTS CAME BACK SQUEAKING. I HAD TO TIGHTEN THEM BACK UP MYSELF. I RECENTLY TOOK IT TO THEM (JULY 9TH, 2012) FOR A TRANSMISSION CHECK AND THEY KEPT IT FOR 3 DAYS, DIDNT CALL ME TO TELL ME IT WAS READY, AND AGAIN THE BELT WAS SQUEAKING. BUT THIS TIME THEY REMOVED THE BRACKET TO THE BELT. I FOUND A PIECE OF THE BRACKET IN THE BOTTOM OF THE MOTOR LAYING ON THE PLASTIC COVER. THIS BRACKET HAS (3) BOLTS THAT HOLD IT TOGETHER AND ALL OF THEM WERE MISSING. I HAD TO GO BACK TO HONDA AND ORDER THE PARTS MYSELF AS WELL AS FIX IT MYSELF. THESE GUYS ARE A TOTAL WASTE IF TIME AND MONEY. I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO BOTH LOCATIONS AND I GOT THE SAME RESULT.

Took my car to crown acura... not only did they tell me it would be $1300 to fix a spliced connection... they also said my catalytic converter was throwing an inefficiency code that they could fix with their $120 fuel system cleaner which turned out to be complete BS... took it to wallace and voila... fixed connection.. no code... for less than 10% of what the dealership was quoting. chris and his crew are as honest as they come. i highly recommend them!
