Read the reviews.... I thought I was going to get an inspection but however I did not receive the same treatment as the other customers. I’ve read, “called same day...was in and out with 20 mins”, I’ve read “quick work”..... etc. All great and everything. Mind you I had an state inspection the day before.... and was rejected for light condensation which I told the dealership I would be able to do it myself... the next day I was able to just blow it dry. I called, 2 hours before they closed to receive a inspection and they turned me down. I just wish the reviews were true. Lady was very and polite turning me down but I was there thinking me being there 2 hours before they closed I would be fine.

This place is the best! Bubba & Joey do great work & most importantly, they are honest. They only do what needs to be done or what you ask them to do. They will always tell you the truth about your car repairs & maintenance. I highly recommend Cabin Creek Auto Service!

My battery had died and the owner was willing to provide me a jumper box to get my car to the store and they were able to handle the issue quickly and efficiently and they even had time to perform a state inspection. The whole process took no more than an hour and the cost was below what i had expected. All in all, an outstanding experience!

We have been using Cabin Creek Auto for over 16 years. We dont drive new cars, so it is important for us to have a mechanic we can trust and one that will help to keep our cars running for years. Bubba has always done that. He is affordable, dependable and responsive whenever we have needed him.

We took our RAV4 to Cabin Creek Auto because it needed an oil change and the lights would intermittently come on. Bubba said that the reason that the lights were coming on was because it needed a new battery. When we picked the car up, the bill was over $450! Bubba said that the filter housing broke while he was changing the oil. To make things worse, the car began leaking oil. We had to bring it to the dealer because Bubbas repair was a failure - the needed to put in a new housing (another $230).We also recently brought in our antique car because the brakes werent working correctly. Bubba said that it needed new brake lines, but that they didnt make that part anymore. WE BOUGHT THE PART AND TOOK IT TO BUBBA. When we went to pick that car up, the bill was over $450! That charge was for labor alone, and the brakes in this car are simple - no ABS.DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARS TO CABIN CREEK! BUBBA WILL BLEED YOU DRY!

Took our GMC in for oil change, cleaning of the headlight lens and state inspection . The headlights were so dull thought they would have to be replaced for inspection but Cabin Creek detailed the lens that made them look like brand new, and the truck passed inspection and we can see so much better at night . So if you your headlights are dull take your car to Cabin Creek they will make them look like new . Thanks to Bubba and Joey for the pride they take in there work .

Small business operations. This auto repair shop is small but efficient. They operate on a first come first served perspective with curtesy and respect for their customers.

They took my vehicle on short notice for state inspection. I was very pleased with that. Told me that I could not have license plate frames. I checked the state law and wrote the state police. Turns out that license plate frames are fine unless they block the lights.

They have been super helpful. I find Bubba very honest. They have been able to fix things like a check engine light​ no one else was able to figure out and the cost was not insane. Recently replaced my catalytic converter that the dealer wanted over 1200 for just the part. He did the whole thing installed for about $750. He keeps my old cars running with a fair price and always uses high quality parts (they do cost more but I find they last longer)

Been the familys one stop shop for any problem with cars since as long as I can remember. We used to go to them back when they were at the corner of patterson and gaskins and my dad used to annoy bubba probably about every morning getting coffee from the machine at the gas station. His son Joey works in the shop with them and his wonderful sister is who youll be chatting with on the phone. If youre reading this contemplating on whether or not to give them a call honestly just stop here and call, youll never regret it and youll never take your car anywhere else after youve been here 1 time ...bubba is as fair priced as they come compared to anywhere in Richmond, especially dealerships and big name places. hell also get the job done right the first time (which is hard to say for most places these days) and even explain to you whats going on which is nice for people like me who dont know a lot about cars because you may even learn something out of it... but seriously like I said, just go here youll never regret it

Bad experience with inspection aftermarket headlights are dot approved stamped on the front of the light and still tells me they are illegal. Nice lady in the front but dont go for inspection
