Ive been a customer here for a year and Im sorry to say I will not be returning to this location. My previous appointment was cancelled by the store and I had to reschedule for a different day. Today I arrived 2 minutes early for my appointment and waited 12 minutes without being called back. The entire time I was in the waiting room 2 female employees stood ten feet in front of me negatively discussing their coworkers and trainees. Things like, Shes been here too long to be using the full time. She didnt even complete the correct process or greet the customer. Needless to say I wasnt exactly excited to get waxed after hearing the employees rant about how bad their colleagues are at their jobs. Very inappropriate discussion to have in front of a customer. No respect for my time. Other reviews talk about how great Noah is and I agree. But Noah doesnt work there anymore so dont believe the hype. I cancelled my appointment and all future appointments but will have to try a different location as I already paid ahead for sessions.

Had a very nice first time waxing experience. The facility was really clean and the receptionist that I think was the manager was very proffesional. I booked my appointment online with Noah based on other reviews. I was really scared to feel pain and Noah did a very good job distracting me. He made the session go by quick and as painless as possible while giving me a lot of info about waxing and his experience which I really appreciated. Will definitely be back.

Probably won’t be back which is disappointing since they are so close. Tech and other personnel seem extremely uninterested in what they are doing. Booked a full face online. I assumed full face included brows, but I was wrong. On their website you can see this, but in my phone it was cut off. How do you do a full face and not include brows. It timed my visit to be 45 minutes, the girl was done in 15 minutes. Asked is she could do my underarms and was told they didn’t have time. Really? You have a 1/2 hour still left from my appointment. Front desk girl was sitting outside on her cell phone when I arrived and had to wait for her to come in. Very disappointing, I’ll be going back to European Wax in Edina instead of coming here.

First time at Waxing the City and had a great experience! Sasha at the front desk was awesome both answering my call and in person. Noah artfully waxed, shaped, tinted and trimmed my brows! For any of you concerned about having a Brazilian, fear not, you are in good company and hands with Noah. Hes a master in his craft and he keeps things fun, light and matter of fact without any judgement. I absolutely will be going back to see him again! I had an appointment with Jazz. I got my brows waxed, which I thought would just be ridding me of the excess hair on them, like last time I had them done. Instead she made them very thin, angular, arched and exaggerated, which is drastically different from my natural brows, which are straight with a softer shape. I feel like my entire face has been transformed and I feel extremely self-concious. Its mind boggling to me that she just went ahead with what she assumed I wanted instead of asking me first, and I cant believe that just completely changing a customers eyebrow shape without their consent is acceptable here. I wont be seeing Jazz again, thank you.

Waxing is a luxury, so I used Groupons at other salons before landing here. Every appointment was a positive experience. The cerologist, Elizabeth, was quick but thorough. I also appreciate that they offer products but dont pressure into purchasing. I will continue using their services.

Not my cup of tea. Dont go here unless you just cant get in anywhere else. This place blows up their ads on internet and social media, offering huge discounts on first visits but its too many rules prior to booking and their not flexible enough with scheduling and have a strict cancellation policy which didnt work for me because my schedule fluctuates often and I found myself cancelling before I even had an appointment only because they always acted like they were too busy to take me and then it would be that I had to rebook with someone other than the esthetician I was going to. Most importantly I never got a complete service because my hair is very resistant I expected expertise and a more thorough service but instead my treatments were rushed and the effectiveness of the wax wasnt suitable, and I was told about all of the ingredients in the wax that would provide a clean removable of the hair and the positive results. Instead I would always have stubble like a day or so later and was right back to having to spend more money in about a week jus to remove hair that should have been waxed already. This place is not affordable and they push product more than they do service.

Elizabeth is the best esthetician I have ever had. She listens to what ur needs are and does just assume she knows. And she will ask questions before so you on the same page before starting. I have been to another place twice (European wax center) and was not satisfied. Other places really push their products down your throat. I really hate that, but this wasnt my experience here. I also appreciate that they have aspirin free products since Im allergic. The first time she made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. She made sure I was satisfied before I left. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a fabulous brazilian.
