This is kind of an usual review because we are a subcontractor to ServiceMaster Disaster Control. We work for many companies, and there are a couple of things we see that are kind of telling about how well they are run: 1) what do their customers seem to think of them, and 2) how do they treat those who support them in their work. We are of the latter group. Our operations manager and delivery driver have both commented on how easy to work with the folks at ServiceMaster Disaster Control are. They have sites ready and customers prepared when we deliver a mobile storage container, and their customers always seem to know were coming, which tells us they are communicating well with their customers as they do with us. Another thing worth noting (perhaps of particular importance if you are a subcontractor): they pay all of our bills in a timely fashion. That may seem like a small thing to some of their end customers, but I can assure you that it is important to use a general contractor who works well with his subcontractors. It means you get great overall service and is a sign that their office runs well. It also means that they are able to pay their subs without having to wait on payment from the end-customers insurance company, which comments well on their financial stability. I have met the owner and almost all of the management staff, and our guys in the field have met a lot of folks on their crews, and were really enjoying working with them. I know this review is just a piece of someones feedback, but it might give you a bit of insight into one important but behind-the-scenes facet of how a business is run -- one that ends up helping their customers more than you might think.
If you are a landlord or taking care of someone and called this company, BEWARE. I am taking care of my ex who has memory problems resulting from MS. When I called I told them specifically that they had to talk to me. Upon arrival, I again expressed to the young man that before anything is done they must contact me. I made another call the very next day and told them I needed to wait on anything done due to insurance questions. 15 min. Later a supervisor showed up, saying he just needed to check everything out. AGAIN, I expressed that before anything was done they needed to let me know. I was never left a card, any paperwork or a phone call. I receive a bill for $2200. I called and AGAIN expressed that I have no prof of them doing anything and would like to talk to someone in charge. Next thing I know I’m getting a letter from an attorney. No doubt I owe them something because the tenant remembers some equipment being there but does not remember what, or how long.
My house flooded early morning on New Years Day this year due to a busted pipe from the 17 degree temperatures we had. I remembered my mom using the company in the past for her flood so I called them.Even on a holiday they got to me with an hour and a half of my call. The customer service was outstanding. Other places were saying 3-4 hours. When the techs got to my house they were VERY nice and professional and made me feel better about my horrible situation. They explained everything to my understanding and super friendly! The company was more concerned about getting the water out of my home than monies. I called my insurance and later that day gave them my claim number.I will definitely recommend them to friends and family
I have known Justin for almost 10 years and would highly recommend Service Master Disaster Control. He is trustworthy and has a high level of integrity. Do not hesitate to call him for your restoration needs.
This review will just be facts and not a detail of the weeks involved#1 Would never use this one again.#2 No communication(would not return calls or emails for days or weeks)#3 Would be late or not show up at all for some of the work#4 Was advised by insurance to call a different company to finish the last of the work(had not been able to get a reply by phone or email for 2 weeks)#5 Insurance agent has filed with her corporate office to remove this particular franchise from call listNone of this is a reflection of the crews but of poor customer service from the office and managers
I called out Justin with Service Masters and his team on a Friday night, right at 5:00 p.m. because of a hot water tank that rusted out in a office space. It made a huge wet nasty mess but Justin and his team were on it! They kept me posted with what was going on and the total cost! They are professional and a hard-working team that just happen to have GREAT customer service skills!
Hot water heater went crazy and major flood. They kept me informed of their time line. They showed up when they said they would. The team was polite and couteous...ready to go.
Our hot water heater burst and flooded our master bedroom and walk- in master closet. Water damage into dining room. This was stressful and overwhelming for me. The Service Master team took care of everything. They explained every step and answered my questions.
