Came to Lex to help get in shape for joining the military. He definitely helped push me and I made noticeable progress pretty quickly. There were quite a few times where I struggled a bit, but he always made sure I could finish my workout. Wish I could stick around to train with a bit longer. I definitely recommend Lex if you are looking to get stronger.
Working with Lex as my personal trainer has been life changing. I was happy with my weight so we focused on strength. Not going to lie, the first few sessions kicked my butt and my lactic threshold was definitely pushed but each week got better and better!I have gone to various gyms/classes on and off over the years and done lots of cardio and work on the machines but now I know that what I really needed was a more classic approach to fitness that Lex provided perfectly.Ive noticed immediate changes to my body and feel stronger and more confident than I ever have before. I came to Ronin Fitness DFW (RFD) October 2018 overweight, tired, and unhappy with the way I looked. My initial goals was to lose 15lbs and to learn how to powerlift when I met Lex. However, in less than a year, Lex transformed me from a powerlifter to a bikini fitness competitor. I lost more weight and fat than I thought I could and gained a lot of confidence, strength, knowledge, muscles AND abs! (I haven’t worn a 2 piece swimsuit in 10 years!) Lex has a true gift for 1x1 personal training and helping people. I’d highly recommend RFD for any of your fitness goals.
When I first walked in, I didn’t expect to have such a great time while working out! Lex with push you and really help you take things to the next level! He showed me good form and helped me get back into lifting weights all the while being personable and friendly. I was able to lose 4% body fat from just going there for 5 weeks and my muscle tone was amazing. Weight wise, I dropped pounds, but his approach on me was building muscle, and not doing extensive cardio, which is exactly what I needed and what I got!I learned how to work out right and lex taught me and kept me going further to hit my Max’s and my goals. He is an amazing personal trainer and I would recommend him for anyone. He has helped people get back into fitness all the way from post-hospital stays to people who are training for competition. If you need a trainer, anywhere, skip the gyms and the weird websites and go to Lex!
Im a Junior hockey player and this year Ive gotten to go to Canada to play! I needed to get stronger with my whole body so I could preform way beyond any other goalie in the league so I started training with lex in April and we trained three times a week! Workouts were always hard work and I never left a session feeling like I had anything left in the tank, he pushed me to my limit and beyond! My big goalie camp before the season was in August and after training with him all summer I was one of the top goalies there and I was keeping up with Division 1 goalies!! Now Im in Canada and I feel great every time Im at the gym with the program he has me on and on the ice Im not as fatigued as I have been in the past and I move so much better and Im so much stronger on the ice!! Recommend Ronin Fitness a 11 out of 10 to anybody!!!!

Lex is an awesome trainer! Ive gotten an intense, hard workout everytime Ive showed up. As well as some good conversations with him. Hes very knowledgeable in personal training, weight lifting, and overall health. No gym fees, gimmicks or up sales. There is no contract involved either. Hes honest and upfront with you. Just be ready for a complete workout!
Lex looks scary and that’s exactly what I was looking for. ;)I’ve only been with him 3 weeks, but I’m super happy with my progress. He pushes you hard, but you’ll get the point where it’s almost all self-motivation.Most importantly, he pays attention to your needs as a client. I’ve got high blood pressure and sometimes he’ll stop me even when I’m in go-mode. First time ever getting a personal trainer but Lex definitely set the bar high. Great guy that has both experience and knowledge in the art of fitness. Lex has been helping me with my fitness since he opened up shop. I began as a severe asthmatic and underweight, and within 6 months my body fat was at 5% and I had gained 30 pounds of muscle. Furthermore, I was conditioned to move in ways I had never moved before and was able to expand my breathing capacity. He was also cognizant of my health woes and while he pushed me to my limits, he never put me in the danger zone. With his 5 day a week program and extensive attention to my personal diet, goals, and overreaching knowledge of all things fitness his program is not only the most effective, but a great fantastic value.

I have my health back, my diet (while not perfect) is clean. and Im getting the strength and definition back that I had in my early 20s. I have been working out with Lex for over 6 months now. After I had my baby, I came to see Lex to help me get back in shape. I have to say that I am in better shape now than I ever was before getting pregnant. Lex is a great motivator, but he doesnt yell at you or shame you into working hard. Lex also is a constant learner and teacher. Every couple weeks, he has a new warm-up routine and new workouts for me. This helps as it keeps me from getting bored! I would definitely recommend working out with Lex to anyone!
