I tried to get a haircut at this place, and I use their scheduling service through the website. I showed up early for my appointment, and waited for 15 minutes. Finally somebody meandered to the front of the store to stand behind the checkout register. I asked if anybody was going to cut my hair, and they said that they were full up, and a person that I booked my appointment with wasnt etven there that day. Completely unprofessional. Would not recommend.

I poked an appointment at 6 pm with Brandon, apparently Brandon left early even tho i had an appointment. No one contacted me to tell me that Brandon left, i came in then they told me that he left and that i had to put my name as a walk in. Fine i did all of that sat there for 40 minutes and no one called me, after that a kid comes in and they take him right away when i was there first there with an appointment. No customer service what so ever, no apology was given or nothing stared me down and talked back as if i was in fault. Pathetic. Never ever coming back here or recommending this place to no one !!!!

I’ve booked appointments on several occasions. There have been times where we show up for the appointment and the barber isn’t even there. Because of this you are forced to get on a list that puts you at the back of the line. They don’t do anything to try and make up for it and they handle it in an unprofessional manner. They also tell you that walk-ins are $25 yet they charge more than that. Each barber has their own price that could be anywhere from 30-40 dollars which makes no sense if you say you charge less for walk-ins. There is no customer services. It doesn’t exists. Save yourself the trouble of paying high dollar for mediocre fades and terrible customer service. El Terrible!

The online scheduling did not work and booked me multiple times. Called the only number on the site and left a message explaining the issue. The barber (Oscar) sent me a very rude and unprofessional text complaining about all the slots booked. Didnt bother listening to the voicemails before texting. Didnt ask if I was having technical difficulties...just assumed I was doing it on purpose. He offered no apology after I informed him of the situation. I decided to book with another barber (Lupe) instead. I checked in exactly at 3pm when my appt was. I waited for an hour and no one called texted me or came out to offer any reason as to why I was waiting for so long. No one ever answered the phone either. This was a surprise for my boyfriend and they ruined it! Very disappointed!!!

Usually don’t write bad reviews but this is needed. Do not get your cut here youre better off at a mom and pop. Moved from NY and tried 3 different barbers here hoping they’d be better than the last, but progressively worse. The last visit with Juan took the cake. What was booked for 45 minutes was done in 25, in haste and rushed. Shape up pushed back and didn’t line the chin. He was rushing and told me that my hair was nice as is I believe in an effort to get out earlier by not cutting head hair. When the haircut was finished he didn’t hand me a mirror and rushed right to the register while I was still looking in the mirror. The hair cut was mediocre at best. Overall terrible experience, never going back.

I would like to start off by saying Juan is the best barber at razors the guy is phenomenal with his hands you will fall asleep while getting a hair cut his hands are magic!!! Worst haircut ever, Juan, the guy that cut my hair, was cutting it like he was in a hurry or something, I made an appointment online at 1 and he never called for my name or anything, I had to get up and look for him and he didn’t seemed to care, he was talking in the phone while cutting my hair, not paying attention at all. After he finished the haircut he totally messed up he charged me 35 dollars, when the last time I came I was only charged 25 for literally the same haircut.The place it’s good but just never get a haircut with this guy, he won’t do it right, he’ll rush through it, and he’ll charge you more than he’s supposed to.I’d also like to add that most of the barbers aren’t even wearing masks or trying to enforce them in the barbershop.

UPDATE (11/8/2020) I dont know if the barbers will continue to charge people independently but they resolved my issue. My suggestion is that you all create a uniform rate for your customers and put it somewhere people can see or put up a sign saying each barber charges their own rates. Not everyone can afford to be surprised with a $45 dollar or more hair cut bill at check out when historically you all charged in the $20-$25 range.ORIGINAL 11/4/2020Apparently each barber charges what they come up with when they cut your hair. Last time (September 25th) I was a walk in and was charged $32 then yesterday I was a walk in and they charged me $45 for a basic haircut and then he proceeded to trim my beard without even asking me only to tell me it will be $10 extra. I’m upset because the “trim” he did to my beard I could have done at home and avoided getting cut by his razor. This place used to be the spot for me. I have been coming here since 2017 but now I think its time to move on. Ive always got my haircut here before and Id liked it but now its changed up. Service aint worth the wait or the money. With all the new staff now Its like regardless of who comes first in line, it seems they just catch the people they wanna cut first and/or while they chat and get on their phones to make you wait without a single word of service..They lost their reputation, im done with this spot.

They raise the price every time I go for the same exact same cut. Last time I was charged $45 by Oscar for a simple taper fade.

Good cut everytime you go. Price went up to $31 a cut?!? And then tip?? From like a 20 cut. Simple taper fade with edge up. No beard. There was no appointment, just walked in.

Nice for my first time

I’ve been getting my haircut here for close to 8 years now and I drive down from Rockwall just to get my haircut at this place, however I’ve seen the customer service go down the drain while the cost go up consistently. You can come in on a basically empty lobby (2-3 people waiting With 8-10 barbers present) and still spend close to an hour waiting for your barber if you made an appointment while half the staff is on their phones and joking around all while people wait. It also shouldn’t take 55 minutes for a fade and trim to begin with, people don’t have the time to wait around for you to be checking your snapchat halfway through a cut. I’ll be going somewhere else from now on.

Haircuts are ALWAYS 1st place from ALL barbers but....customer service is last place. Barbers seems to not care about their customers, craft, or money. They never answer the phone, never return texts, never reply to any of their social media inboxes. Communication is lacking terribly there. Other than that. I think its the best place to get your hair cut.

Love this place, but was kind surprised, when I went to cut my hair last week, most of barbers and clients were not using Mask. Even kids are there without a mask on. Apparently the covid stopped being a concern.

I was really disappointed with my haircut even though, I’ve heard such good things about this barbershop. Lupe really rushed through my haircut and I had to go to another salon right after to even out the top. I understand he was booked all day but he should care more about the quality of the haircut then rushing through it to move on to the next customer. He did the fade good but it looked nothing to the picture I showed him. Overall I’m not happy with my experience and don’t plan on coming back again.

I booked an appointment online with a barber i have seen previously and received multiple confirmations that everything was good. I arrived 10mins early realizing the barber wasnt there yet - ended up waiting an additional 45minswith no acknowledgement from the staff - walked out with no hair cut.Why have a booking system of it isnt regularly monitored? I shouldnt have to conduct any sort of follow up after I book online.

Cuts are great. I used to come here and always get awesome fades from Jose. However as time passed, I started noticing I would get skipped by people who would just walk in. Jose would say “Oh he was waiting and came back” but I knew this wasn’t true when I had to wait almost 3 hours for a cut I absolutely needed. Later, this skipping BS was confirmed when a close friend of mine told me that Jose usually lets him skip other people who were in line. I have never received this sort of treatment, which is weird because I recommended razors to that friend in the first place!! Anyways, the only reason I gave them even 2 stars is because Jose is actually an awesome barber and I always give credit where it’s due.

At first the location of this place can be intimidating and the so can the barbers and the atmosphere, but once you get past all that and give this place a try I can assure you that these gentlemen give some of the best haircuts around. More so than the big name name barbershops like Sports Clips or Great Clips. Just show your barber a picture of the type of haircut you want and they will do their best to match the style and from my experience they even give styling tips. Ive had four different barbers and all of them have been equally and consistently excellent. I am American-Filipino so my hair is very straight but the barbers Ive had, have made my hair look good and given me the confidence to look good. I always support small business so I hope you choose this place.

I took my 6 year old son to this place yesterday and absolutely loved it. Its a mans palace for sure! I was a little shy since I was the only female in there with my son but he needed a fresh cut! I had to wait a bit but it was with great appreciation... They took their time on their clients and made sure they walked out looking great! I was happy with the experience and quality of their cuts. Took my son to Razors Barbershop and I was immediately was attended nicely. The young man who cut my sons hair made sure to ask me what exactly what I wanted for my sons haircut and that we were both on the same page. He was very patient and playful with him and constantly kept asking if he was doing okay with his haircut. His name was Bryan, I asked for his name because I knew for a fact I would ask for him to cut my sons hair next time I came.

Amazing shop. Plenty of barbers working at all times. Biggest barber shop that I’ve been to in all of the metroplex and every barber is as good as the guy beside him. You can’t go wrong here brand new location much bigger and better then the one they has beside it. Highly recommend.

I honestly don’t trust any other barbershop when needing a quick and good haircut for my son. Very friendly atmosphere and staff. All barbers cut very well but my son often cuts with his regular barber Jesus, very patient and professional. Highly recommend this barbershop.

They do great fades and cut well. Just make sure you tell them exactly what you want and how you want it. Their tastes when choosing for you are sometimes questionable but can be fixed.

I used to come here all the time.The old crew in the old shop was way better and they would respect who comes first and I used to tip them really good 100% tip because they deserved it but the new place with the few new crew isn’t professional at all and they skip who been waiting for 2 hours to serve people who just walked in.I just left after waiting for 2 hours of waiting and skipping me 3 times.I’m never coming back.

Ive been to Razorz twice now. My first impression was amazing. My barber took his time and gave me a great low fade and for only 20 bucks it wasnt a bad deal. However, yesterday I realized why so many people stick to the same barber. This time around I noticed that the same person wasnt there so I randomly picked someone. The gentleman that took care of me cut me 4 times across my forehead and I currently have red marks that still havent gone away 2 days later. Furthermore, I explicitly asked for a low bald fade increasing to a 2 on the sides. What I received was a high tapered bald fade across the entire top. I noticed that when he cut my hair he wasnt going in a straight line making him to trim more on the top and shave it down. The hair that was on top of my head was never touched and was maybe cut about half a inch shorter. At this point I just want a free haircut or my money back, especially since he cut me 4 damn times.

For the last couple years i had to travel to Oak Cliff for a good haircut. My cousin told me to try this place out, so I did. This is a great place to get your haircut in the Garland/Richardson area. I recommend it to many. I would suggest Eric the kind of short guy thats toward the back. Hes funny and gives a five star taper fade even with my thick hair! There are some rookie barbers there, so I recommend you pick wisely. I give this place 4 stars just because the prices are getting a little higher. $21 for fade/scissors/beard trim.

A lot of my friends have been going to Razorz for years so I finally checked it out last week and I can definitely see why they have long time customers! The atmosphere is great, all the barbers seem to be close to their clients....oh and they had soccer on, what more could I ask for! Already setup my appointment for next week

I am from Las Vegas and needed a hair cut while in Dallas. I googled and just decided to come over to Razorz. Men,,, this kid by the name Alfredo or Alfredos who never saw me before but gave me a sharp cut like he been my barber for 10 years.Its worth mentioning that Ive travelled the world and tested many great barber shops but what makes this guy special is, he did everything perfect for the first time.The people are friendly and as soon as I walked in they checked me in without Appointment even though it was on a Saturday because they have enough barbers.Overall great experience and Id definitely come back when I am in TX.Thanks Alfredo and Razorz.

Ive been going to Razorz barbershop for quite sometime and in that time frame the service, the quality of detail and professionalism have all gone downhill. Ive gone back for the purpose of loyalty, but the barbers have no appreciation for loyal customers. My apologies to the owner of Razorz, but his barbers will be the demise of his company with their lack of customer service, racial verbiage of using the N-word repeatedly throughout the shop with no regard for the customers, especially when theyre all Mexican Americans and their homoerotic conversation with each other that would make anyone sitting and waiting for a haircut uncomfortable. Its definitely a barbershop that I shouldve given up on a long time ago, but with the lack of shops in the North Dallas area, Ive had no alternative place to go. I encourage everyone that take these reviews with serious thought not to waste your time and money at Razorz Barbershop in Richardson,TX.

Probably the worst fade I ever got. Made an appointment online and didn’t get seen until an hour later, Kevin rushed the hell out of my fade and finished in 18 minutes. Didn’t know how to shape the fade and was more preoccupied with some prank he did and talking to other barbers. Don’t waste your time and find somewhere else.
