Today I dropped off my alternator for a 2010 Honda Accord at 9am and it was ready by 1pm. Don was friendly and honest did it great job at a fraction of the cost of a rebuilt one from most chain suppliers. Will definitely recommend to all if you have to get your parts serviced.

Go no place else for alternator rebuild. It will definitely cost you less money and less time coming here. My 07 Acura RDXs alternator failed this weekend. I was able to pull the alternator and drop it off. Don got me all fixed in only a few hours. This is my second time I have used Don. He also did my 02 Honda Accord last year. I only have one car left, but if it needs alternator work then I will definitely come back to Don.

I was almost ready to take my alternator to another place much further away, but I stumbled upon this awesome place due to the great reviews it has. I was prepared to pay a hundred bucks at the other place doing an exchange, but opted to have it fixed instead of replaced. The owner even gave me another $10 off when I gave him my old battery (which was less than a week old, but not working nonetheless) making my experience at Richardson Generator all the better. Its a very old school operation, but your results are what matter most. Very friendly, and was able to have my newly repaired alternator in my car 3 hours after I brought it in. A+++++!

Superb customer service and repair capability. Took good Honda alternator in with broken power stud, repaired, works great. $43 and I get to keep my OEM alternator. Used them years earlier for a Chevy OEM Alternator for an 86 Caprice Classic. Same great service, function and price.

My alternator rebuild for my Lexus was about half the price of Autozone and Oreillys. They carefully rebuild starters and alternators in house which is better quality than assembly line rush rebuilds that you get from auto parts stores.

I exchanged an alternator and installed a rebuilt one from Richardson Generator Start Inc. It was 1/3 the price of one from a dealer. They will also test your alternator and tell you what is wrong with it. If you insist, you can leave your alternator and they will fix it if you dont want to trade. Sometimes fixing a blown diode is all it takes. Well worth the visit.

I needed a pair of alternator pair of alternators tested and he tested them on the spot and found them to be in good condition. He knew exactly how to test them without having to look anything up. This guy beats AutoZone, OReillys, and Napa hands down. I would recommend this place to my grandmother parents friends relative and those I care about because I think he treats others fairly.
