Dont know about tech service, couldnt be seen. Went there for spouses phone. She thought she was treated rudely. After waiting a while a different staff person asked if she could sign us up for an appointment, which we did for next day. However found a Verizon store in Grandview which was still open and we went there with only 20 minutes till they closed, no waiting, took us in and fixed the phone...free of charge.

I just called to speak to a manager at this location and he said he’d look into a purchase I made (which was over $600) and literally just transferred me to the main location. Not sure what his name was but it happened 4/29/2021 at 12:13 pm. Horrible customer service!

My wife and I brought our iPhones in for battery replacements. Apple actually sent me to that store because of the location, very close to us. They were working without any issues and just wanted a new battery so would hold a charge longer. Went in at noon and throughout the day got home around 9pm after everything was said and done. They ended up breaking both our phones and gave us “like new” refurbished replacements. They tried to make right with $100 gift card to best buy because they couldn’t do anything about the 50 dollar fee to replace one battery from Apple. I never been to geek squad for any type of work but never plan on going back.

When my computer died they were able to resurrect it in one day so I was happy. They were very courteous and professional.

Horrible, prices on website, Oh, they are all wrong according to the Geek I talked to. Also if you think you get a hard drive installed for $50 WRONG. Its only $50 AFTER you pay $250 or $350 to be a a service contract member. In other words why bother.Wasted a lot of my time at Best Buy. I was excited to get a return phone call from the Geek Squad the same day I dropped off my computer they explained to me what the issue was, why it stopped working and what my options were. I totally recommend the Geek Squad.

I called here and they told me they didnt repair kindle fire kids edition tablets. My husband called a couple days later and was told they do. Oddly, neither person thought to tell us that best buy is a certified rethink reseller or that we should contact amazon to see if our product is still under warranty, which is was. I know it was an odd question but we got mixed answers.

By far one of the most useless services available in the computer industry. 9/10 times I bring something here it gets returned worse that what I left it. Today it took the over an hour to tell me the Stylus Pen they sold me wont work with my new laptop. After they messed with every thing now my laptop is going haywire.

Teriable service . You have to call geek squad around every month . Every time they come out its 150 filler fee .
