I purchased 4 performance tires and even their 3 year alignment program at another store out of state before moving to the area. Had a great experience with a different store, so figured Id remain a loyal customer to Goodyear while using this store in the area.Took my vehicle to this Renton location for an oil change and tire rotation after scheduling it online in advance and arrange for someone to pick me up. Drop off prior to the time scheduled and they ended up keeping the vehicle for the entire day to do a 20 minute oil change and 15 minute tire rotation. The response from the store manager was that it is their stores busiest day. I get it, but his tone was presenting it like it is my fault I brought them my business, scheduled it when I was able to on a day off and I should know his business. I appreciate I was given a slight discount for losing my vehicle for an entire day to change the oil. Standing waiting to check out, listening to political talk and being an ex-cop just seemed a bit much on top of everything else.I wanted to give them a second chance and bring them business despite my previous experience. Scheduled it again online (it estimated 3 hours for shocks, struts, tire rotation and brake inspection) and decided to modify it for just getting the brakes done due to a scheduling conflict. Call in and am told they need the car for half a day to do the job at a minimum. Am told he just wants to take care of me as a customer, but he comes off patronizing. Given the previous experience I am anticipating it will probably end up another full day or a couple (if they have to order parts) to do an assessment and then a brake job, so I declined the appointment and service all together. Will take it to a competitor. Next time I need tires or alignment will try a different Goodyear store at a later date and see if I have an improved experience. Doubt I will use them for their other services especially this location. I dont want to inconvenience them with my business.*Update: I appreciate the store manager reaching out to apologize for the experience, was sincere in explaining the situation/intent/challenges and he wanted to redeem the experience with a discounted service. Means a lot to take those steps to win back a customer.

I took my car in for a pre-trip safety check and Kyle was incredibly thorough in the breakdown of the inspection. He let me know what needed to be replaced and what services could wait. I feel comfortable taking my car on my road trip and will be back for the recommended services!

The WORST experience. Confirmed they had the tires I needed before making an appointment. Got there and was told they did NOT have the tires, and I had to sit there for 4 hours. Within days one of the tires leaked. Made another appointment, and even with the appointment was told it would be 45 minutes before they would get to it. Also got talked into a applying for a credit card so I could get a $150 rebate. Rebate never came. contacted good year, got shunted off to another company to claim the rebate. What a scam all around!

I would like to commend Kyle at the Goodyear in Renton for his outstanding service on Saturday afternoon. I went there to have my tires checked as a sensor activated on my dash indicating low tire pressure. Kyle immediately had my vehicle on the lift and learned that I had a puncture in the right rear tire. Had it been repairable he was willing to fix it for free. It was not repairable so he offered to put my spare on the car until he was able to get the replacement tire on Monday. However we were unable to find the key to the wheel locks so I needed to go to a Honda dealer. Kyle made sure my tires had appropriate air pressure to ensure I would be able to drive to Honda. He was very accommodating, personable and willing to help in every way he could. As a result of his service I will definitely return to that shop in the future.

My experience at Goodyear in Renton has been the worst automotive service ever. First, I was an ASE Certified Mechanic for over 20 years. I decided to get 4 new Goodyear tires on my car. They bent one of my aluminum wheels on their Coats Rim Clamp Tire Changer with the Bead Breaker. I have used these machines for years and know that it can happen very easy.The manager at the Renton location, Scott has NO IDEA about cars, and told me that I bent the wheel on the inside!!! I never seen anyone ever bend a wheel on the inside driving a car.Scott road tested my car and said the Stut Mounts were loose, and the suspension was shot on my car, the wheel was not the issue.I called Goodyear Corporate and complained and got a call from Scott stating he was not admitting fault and called the tire machine manufacturer and they said their machine could never cause the bent wheel. I know this was total Bull Hockey. But Scott said he was going to get me a new wheel but they were on National Backorder!I searched the internet and found 5 places that had wheels for my car. I sent them to Scott who after 2 weeks said he would order a wheel for me.Now today, 3 weeks after my initial purchase I finally got my wheel replaced. When I got to the the store Scott opened the box which the wheel was shipped in and then told me, it will take a couple of hours. To change a tire on a wheel takes about 15 minutes with your eyes closed. Scott was just being indifferent AGAIN!!!Then, we the Technician parked my car out front Scott made me wait another 20 minutes while he did paperwork...Long story short here folks... AVOID GOODYEAR TIRE IN RENTON AS LONG AS THE MANAGER THERE IS SCOTT. HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT CARS AND THINKS HE KNOWS IT ALL. HE SAID HE WAS A COP IN LOS ANGELES!!! DOESNT MEAN HE CAN KNOW CARS.

I called this place off a whim after my husband called and let me know the car was shaking. They were the closest location to my house and the cheapest when I was comparing prices for diagnostic work. When I called I connected with Kyle, who immediately immediately treated me like a regular customer and ultimately went above and beyond to diagnose and repair the car. Scott was also working the desk and was super personable and prompt. They got my car in and out within 24 hours. It costed less than expected, and the Car runs great. We’ll go back for future business.

I bought tires online and despite some snafus with the corporate scheduling system the Service Manager at the Renton location was able to get me and my car in and out in a timely fashion. Customer service was excellent, COVID-19 lobby protocols were on point, and I walked away feeling good about the money I spent for these Goodyear Weather Assurance tires. Just in time for the snow too!Note: I think there is recently new management at this location based on a number of truly terrible complaints. I hope that means things are turning around at this location! It seems like the new Service Manager is working hard to make that happen.

Poorly run shop low budget store.Dropped off a tire and rim to have a new tire installed on it, left it there four hours was told no problem. Returned after four hours tire still not replaced simple ten min job.Given excuse of employee did not return from his lunch break.Dingy waiting room with unreliable employees.

I recently bought a car and I had to keep coming back to Goodyear, no fault of Goodyear. But everytime I had to come back Rob was always so helpful and informational. He even brought out a piece and explained to me why it needed to be replaced and also how it works. They were able to figure out and fix all issues. Just overall great service.

Had a 2:30 appt for an oil change. At 3, they still hadnt started my car. Since I had another appt at 4, I couldnt stay to get the oil changed.My only comment is, if you have an appt, the action should start within 5 minutes of that appointed time.

I went in with a problem of rough idling, and for an oil change. They charged me almost $200 to tell me that my engine was in good shape and nothing was seriously wrong, and that I may just have a “dirty part”. They wanted another $200 to just clean those parts. Flash forward a week or so later, and I broke down due to a complete cylinder 4 misfire due to spark plugs that had been apparently worn out for a while. Yet they did not tell me anything was wrong with my spark plugs, which is something they should’ve checked for saying it can cause rough idling itself.Overall, waste of $200, they seem to be fine for oil changes, but don’t trust them to actually tell you the problems with your car.UPDATE: after calling them for an explanation on why they didn’t check those parts, they told me they refuse to dig around in the engine, and only go off of the computer. Yet they told me they actually did dig around in the engine, because I had already ran my own diagnostic tool and knew nothing showed up. They lied to me, and refuse to offer me even a sincere apology. Their mistake and bad service easily could’ve ended up with me dead, as I was stranded in the middle of the freeway.

My tire was leaking air on the way to work. I was able to get to Goodyear before it was completely flat. Staff was friendly and quickly got the tire patched. Somehow they offer this service free of charge. Thats nuts!

After buying a set of tires at this business, I got a flat. I showed up 15 minutes before opening, hoping to get it fixed. I was told to come back at 4:00. Apparently once they have sold you tires, you are just an annoyance . Here is an update based on the owners reply. I appreciate the interest in solving my problem. Where was this level of caring when I was at the shop? As soon as I left Goodyear, I went to Les Schwab. Within 20 minutes my flat was repaired, and at no cost. Thats what customer service looks like.

I had a good experience here. My check engine light came on so I used the diagnostic scanner at OReillys to find out what the issue was before I took the car in for service. I found out it was an oxygen sensor issue, which was also confirmed by Goodyear. They replaced for about $160 which I felt was reasonable given the cost of the part and labor involved. However, a day after picking up the car, the light returned. Again I took the car back. This time they admitted they had replaced the wrong O2 sensor, so they replaced the faulty one free of charge. All in all, a bit of a hassle having to return the car, but I really appreciated their honesty and willingness to fix the issue for free on the second trip. Thanks Goodyear.

Set an appointment online, confirmation email, oh wait no actually I cant find any of your info, I dont have time to do an oil change with nobody ahead of you. One hour can you leave it, leave and come back, one hour actually means one hour before we touch your car then we will make sure we get one hour labor out of your money for your oil change, while I drop the wrench doing so to try chase other customers out the parking lot leaving because they waited so long.

Bad customer service. Front desk guy, probably manager, is rude and stuck up. Not sure about quality. I asked the front desk guy what oil they used on my car, he didnt bother checking and said 5W20 but receipt says 5W30.Another note: good thing i booked at 9:30 because store was closed up until 9:30. Tire banged in managers service car they said.Please avoid this store at all cost, protect yourself at all cost. Protect your car by not going there

We brought in our 99 Toyota for some TLC as shes now over 220,000 miles. The staff at Goodyear was amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and communicated with me and my husband seperatly so that everyone was on the same page. The car has been running like its 10 years younger since we got her back from the shop. We Were so impressed weve decided to make Goodyear in Renton our regular mechanic!

Awful customer service. They repeatedly inconvenienced me. One week ago I confirmed with them, on the phone and in person at their shop, that they would have my tires in and everything ready to go. Unfortunately they didn’t get the paperwork in order and couldn’t get it done. Following the weekend they completed the paperwork and then called me to tell me so. I decided to go with them since apparently this was complete and they had my tires on-site and ready to go. So on that phone call I made an appointment for the following Saturday morning. I got to the shop ready to get it done and they informed me that my appointment wasn’t in their schedule and they were busy and couldn’t take me in until the afternoon. I had to show them my call log on my phone to convince them I had in fact called them and made an appointment 5 days earlier. In total I had to make FOUR (4) trips there to get ONE (1) set of tires on the car. Then I asked them to bag my other tires and put them in the back. They said sure, and never did. Upon leaving they still didn’t have the paperwork together so I had to just walk out. One error is acceptable, repeated erroring is incompetence.Youve been warned.

After the last place I went to that charges over $40 for an oil change stole or put 2 of my hubcaps or rims whatever they are called on so loose that they fell off after a 40 minute drive i decided to just go with a simple $20 oil change so I came to goodyear, got a very nice priced oil change as well as great customer service and some good banter from behind the counter if you want a good job with a great price check out goodyear! Ps I think I should mention the place I went to before here always got oil all over and you could smell the oil burning on the engine when you drove, here at Goodyear I got no such smell when leaving and continuing to drive all day thanks again for the great service!

Moving to Des Moines, WA and hearing about Dr. Brown and Marina Medical Clinic, I decided to make an appointment. I was hoping to find a Doctor that cared about my continued journey to a healthier life style.The moment I walked into the Clinic and met Dr Brown and Dr Steneker and the Professional Caring Staff, I noticed how clean the clinic was and how warm and comfortable I felt. (which is unusual for me because of anxiety issues)I have worked in the medical field for 35 years, I can pick up on medical people that truly care and are empathetic; and/or a medical environment where one is just another patient with another health issue.

Worst customer service. Too lazy to do a oil change . I went for my oil change appointment which I had made online I was told they didnt have experienced enough mechanic to do the oil change and to come back tomorrow. When I objected and told them that I was going to call the customer service they told me they didnt have the right oil to do the oil change. Went to Grease Monkey and had my oil change in 15 minutes.
